Chinenye Eucharia, the young girl adopted by popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has finally spoken up following rumours that she and the actress are at loggerheads.

For weeks now, Destiny and Chinenye have not been seen together, neither have they posted pictures together on their respective social media pages.

This raised several speculations online about the reason behind their alleged clash as netizens wonder why Chinenye, a budding actress being groomed by Destiny Etiko, stopped acting in the actress’ production.

Some also accused Destiny Etiko of abandoning Chinenye for reasons best known to her.

In an apparent reaction to the rumours, Chinenye went live on her Facebook page on Monday, December 5, to address her followers and debunk the rumours being peddled online.

She said the rumours are false and that the real reason why she has been offline is because she has gained admission into a tertiary institution and is taking a break from social media to focus on her education.

Chinenye also disclosed that she has decided to put her acting career on hold for one to two years before returning back on screen so she can concentrate fully in school.

However, things took a different turn when they both returned home and discovered that they are pregnant without knowing who impregnated them

Showing off pictures of their baby bumps and ultrasound, the lady captioned the video,

A ‘Christian Tiktoker’ has caused a buzz online after she claimed that masturbation is a form of witchcraft that creates generational curses.

In the trending clip which has amassed over 600k views on TikTok so far, the woman spoke passionately about the ‘dangers’ of masturbation and said it will put a curse on one’s family.

In the 46-seconds video, the woman, speaking against masturbation, said,

“Masturbation is a form of witchcraft.

Not anyone is realizing that this is a demonic attack its a form of witchcraft. Masturbation is a form of control.

“You understand you are literally controlling an orgasm, you’re controlling your own pleasure, that is witchcraft.

“That is a curse that you begin to place over your own life that will then literally bleed into your future children’s life.

“This means that this will become a generational curse that you started or that your parents started that will now go to the next generation, it is witchcraft.”

After citing her points, she began to denounce masturbation and sexual immorality “in the name of Jesus’.

“I cancel the assignment of wet dreams. I cancel the assignment of having orgasms in my dreams.” She said

Presidential candidate of the ruling party – All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has explained why he has been snubbing live interviews and debates.

Tinubu, who snubbed another Presidential Town Hall meeting organized by Arise News which had three other leading candidates in attendance on Sunday, December 4, gave his reason during an interview in Chatham House in London on Monday.

According to him, those inviting him for debates and live interviews are only trying to use him to make money because he’s a marketable candidate.

“I see myself as a marketable individual. You want to use me to make money and I’m saying no,” he said.

A Twitter user identified as Dekunle revealed that his mum took money from him but refused to pay it back because she carried him for 9 months.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has tackled billionaire business mogul and politician, Ned Nwoko, over his recent comment on polygamy.

Ned Nwoko had in an interview with The Guardian, said he and the Ooni of Ife, who married multiple wives in quick succession, are serving Nigeria by taking many wives.

According to Ned who took popular actress, Regina Daniels, as his 5th wife in 2018, more Southern men should embrace polygamy like their Northern counterparts to curb the rate of prostitution among thier women.

“What some of our girls do to make ends meet is regrettable and if our men emulate their northern counterparts by having more than one wife, that could probably change the situation,” he said in part.

Reacting to Ned’s statement, Uche Maguawu, in a post shared via his Instagram page, lampooned him for pressuring Southern men to marry multiple wives.

Controversial Anambra-based clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, is currently trending on social media after a video of his members spraying wads of cash on him on the altar went viral.

The clergyman recently turned 40, and his church members held a lavish celebration for him on Sunday, December 4.

Videos from the celebration that made their way online showed the moment the members stormed the pulpit with bundles of cash and started making money rain on the prophet.

Money is spotted all over the pulpit while the celebrant, who is obviously having a good time, entertained the congregation with his dance moves.

Former Brazilian footballer, Adriano has reportedly separated from his wife, Micaela Mesquita, after only 24 days of marriage.

The couple, who got married last month and shared photos of them signing the wedding papers on Instagram, allegedly parted ways because the Brazil star disappeared for two days to watch the World Cup.

The 40-year-old was said to have travelled to Vila Cruzeiro, a district of Rio de Janeiro, to hang out with his friends and also watch the football match between Brazil and Switzerland on Monday, November 28.

A mother has elicited a flurry of reactions on Twitter after she revealed she bought her son dresses after he demanded for them.

According to her, her son had been requesting female clothes, so she finally decided to grant his wish and bought him dresses and allowed him to rock them.

She said when another kid next door saw her son in a dress, he was curious and asked her why she dressed her boy in female clothing, and she simply responded that it was his wish.

A Nigerian pastor based in Abuja, Aminu Adebola Oluwaseun, has issued a public threat to a man who allegedly absconded with his car.

Taking to his Facebook page on Monday, December 5, 2022, the clergyman said he trusted the suspect, one Ajayi Taiye, with his car about a year ago and till date, he’s yet to return it.

He further warned that God is giving him a chance to return the car because it’s impeding his movement.

“Its actually funny how you trust people but they end up showing you pepper or serve you breakfast. Its about a year now this brother Ajayi Taiye disappeared with my car. Incase you are reading my post just know God is giving you a chance to return my car as it’s a great inconvenience to me,” he wrote.

A Nigerian man, Obioma Ozulu, has opined that a man who allows his wife to decide the venue of their wedding is not a real man.

Zulu stated this in a Facebook post on Sunday in response to a question about who chooses a couple’s wedding venue.

According to him, real men decide the venue for their weddings, while a “woman-wrapper” will allow his wife to make that decision.

He further stated that if a woman is allowed to decide the venue of the wedding, she will be the decision-maker in the marriage.

“Real men decides the venue of their wedding. Woman rappa will allow his wife to decide. Note: If a woman decides the venue of the wedding, she will be the decision maker in that marriage. Men don’t allow what you cannot follow till the end.” He wrote.

A newly-married Nigerian woman, identified as Duru Chukwu Amaka, has revealed how she met her husband.

The excited bride, in a post shared via her Facebook page, said she met her husband on the social-networking platform.

The family of late veteran gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has released his funeral arrangements.

Recall that the music minister died in his sleep on Friday, November 25, at the age of 51.

According to the obituary shared online, a farewell praise party will be held in his honor on Tuesday, December 13 in Lagos, followed by a service of song on Wednesday, December 14 at the House on the Rock Cathedral in Lekki, Lagos.

Sammie Okposo will finally be laid to rest at a private interment on Thursday, December 15th.

Meanwhile, the senior pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin, led a night of tributes for late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo on Friday at the church’s annual gospel musical concert, The Experience.

During the 17th edition of the gospel concert, which was held in Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos last Firday, the congregation paid tribute to late Sammie Okposo.

“I’ll like you to stand on your feet for one minute as we observe a moment of silence for a legend in gospel music who passed away about a week ago. I speak of a man who graced this platform many times over the last 17 years who has entered the golden and pearly gates of glory. None other than minister Sammie Okposo now of blessed memory.

“Would you please join me in your thoughts and prayers. Consider his wife Ozioma and his daughter as we observe a moment of silence for Sammie Okposo.” Adefarasin said while addressing the congregation.

A Nigerian man, identified simpy as Dessy, has narrated his shocking experience with a transwoman who pretended to be a cis woman.

In a video shared on his TikTok page, Dessy recounted how he met the woman on Instagram and was attracted to her because she looked beautiful and financially stable.

He said after eighteen months of chatting on social media, the woman decided to pay him a visit in his city.

When she arrived, he was impressed by her curvaceous figure and his likeness for her increased. They then went to hangout in a bar where they were the cynosure of all eyes because of her beauty.

He said they decided to take the fun to a penthouse he rented for them but he received the biggest shock of his life when he discovered that the “woman” had a masculine sex organ. According to him, it was at that point she confessed to being a transwoman.

Big Brother Naija star and influencer, Angel Smith, has revealed one of the reasons why she might divorce her husband.

Taking to Twitter, the 22-year-old reality TV star said she would file for a divorce without hesitation if her husband demands for sex three weeks after childbirth.

Medically, women are advised to wait for four to six weeks after vaginal delivery before having sex so they can heal properly.

With this in mind, Angel said if her husband is not patient enough to wait till she fully recovers, she would end their marriage.

There was mild drama at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo State, recently when some students stormed a class dressed as bandits during a presentation on terrorism.

It was gathered that the class was supposed to have a political science presentation and a group that’s presenting on terrorism decided to go extra.

The group entered the class that was already in session wearing military camouflage and had their faces covered while carrying dummy guns.

The moment the lecturer and the students saw them, they were gripped with fear, and everyone fled for safety.

A TikTok user who shared the terrifying incident online said they thought they were under attack, and while she tried to hide under the chair, some couldn’t handle the shock and passed out as a result.

A video of the moment an alleged thief was attacked by two dogs in a compound he broke into is currently making rounds online.

The petty thief stormed the compound in the middle of the night with plans to steal from the occupants, unknown to him that the house was heavily guarded by two well-trained dogs.

In the trending clip, the dogs are seen attacking the thief and pulling at his trouser as he screamed for help. Fortunately for him, his shout alerted the owner of the house who came out to call the dogs to order.

“Crusher, sit down there, go back”, the owner was heard giving commands to one of the dogs named Crusher.

However, the dogs didn’t listen to their owner’s commands and kept biting the thief in different parts of his body.
