Popular Nollywood actress, Yetunde Barnabas, has been gifted a brand new Range Rover by her husband, footballer Peter Olayinka, as her push present.

This comes months after they welcomed their first child together.

The couple, who tied the knot in June 2021, welcomed their first child, Gemma, in Prague, Czech Republic, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

The mother of one recently received the Red Range Rover as a push present from her husband, and she took to social media to show off her new ride.

In other news, popular Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has shared a heartwarming video showing the moment he paid a surprise visit to his daughter at school.

The actor, who doesn’t joke with his first daughter, Mercy, expressed how he missed her so much after being away for a while.

According to him, he couldn’t wait till the Christmas holiday, so he showed up at her school unannounced to see her.

In the video, the moment Mercy sighted her father, she ran to him and gave him a tight hug. The doting father, who was overtly delighted to see his daughter, rained kisses on her face.

Hugging his daughter, Charles gushed over her and declared his love for her.

Shaggi, in a post shared via his Instastory, encouraged fathers to hug their children more and express their love for them instead of being hard-hearted.

According to the 29-year-old comedian, he can’t wait to have kids so he can shower them with love, care, and express how much he loves them at any given opportunity

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, and her fiancé, Ryan Taylor, have started marriage counseling ahead of their wedding.

You will recall that the Gelatto crooner recently said “yes” to the love of her life after he proposed to her at a Gumball award night in Abu Dhabi.

A while back, Nigerian singer, Mr. Eazi disclosed that he engaged the billionaire’s daughter, Temi Otedola two weeks before officially announcing it on social media.

While talking with Susan Pwajok on the podcast ‘ Surviving Lagos’, he disclosed this fact and spoke about navigating celebrity life, and how they choose which information to divulge.

Mr. Eazi explained that he could be married to Temi already and people would not know about it because he did not wear a ring.

In the video captured by La Opinion, the former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea striker is seen leaving the stadium after watching the match between Brazil and South Korea on Monday night, December 6.

At first, Samuel Eto’o was seen taking pictures with some fans as he made his way out of the stadium before a man holding a video camera approached him and said something to him.

Actress, Yvonne Jegede calls out her ex-husband, Kunle Fawole, for neglecting their son (video)

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has called out her ex-husband, Kunle Fawole, otherwise known as Abounce, for neglecting their son, Xavier, since his birth.

The actress, who married her now-ex-husband, Abounce, in February 2017 and welcomed a son with him in November of that year, accused him of being a deadbeat dad who has never made an effort to see his child or speak to him.

Speaking in a recent interview with actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Yvonne said Kunle only came around to acknowledge their son when she threatened that she would remove his surname from Xavier’s name if he didn’t show up.

She said she had to insist that their son bear her and his father’s surnames, Jegede-Fawole, because she was the one who suffered so much and cleared her account to go to America to birth him.

“Since that they, he has never come to the house, he has never called. His son turned one, no call, no text message to say Happy birthday”, Yvonne said

Yvonne said recently Xavier started asking for his father, so she reached out to Kunle’s older brother to inform him that Xavier was asking for his father and that he should help get Kunle to please come around to see his son, but the response she got was not encouraging.

“Your gift is in my hand yet you don’t care. You see, one moment I dreaded the most is for my child to wake up one day and ask where is my father and it has started happening. One day when he asked, I had to send messages to his siblings to ask him to come and check up on him but it yielded no result.

It was so bad that my father had to represent my son at school for a father’s day event they recently had. It was embarrassing for me but I’m waiting to see when he will show up or if he wouldn’t till the boy turns 18.” She said.

Yvonne Jegede, who revealed that she and her ex-husband, Kunle, were best friends before they tied the knot, said what led to the crash of their marriage was not really worth it.

However, if she had stayed in the marriage just because of the fear of what people would say, she would have been unhappy.

“We don’t talk. He doesn’t come around, he doesn’t call, he doesn’t do nothing. I don’t know what it is that could cause a friendship… because apart from the marriage, we had a good, very solid friendship. I think I still look at that friendship and believe this thing wey we dey experience now, we no suppose to, at least that friendship wey we get supposed to cover up for somethings. He no dey call.” She said.

Nollywood actress, Dorcas Shola Fapson, better known as Ms DSF, has thrown a shade at her ex-lover, singer Skiibii, after he showed off his latest acquisition, a Mercedes Maybach.

Skiibii, who recently splurged millions of naira on the luxury whip, took to his Instagram page on Monday night to show off the exquisite details of the new ride.

Flaunting the car, the “Daz How Starz Do” crooner boasted that he paid for the vehicle in full at once.

However, reacting to the news, an Instagram follower expressed doubt that the singer had acquired the car, noting that she finds it hard to believe anything he says on social media.

Reality TV star turned singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has sent a message to those still doubting his potential in the music industry.

A young Nigerian lady has been thrown into mourning following the death of her husband one year after their marriage.

The young lady, identified as @irenechinecherem on TikTok, revealed she got married at age 20, and tragically, she’s now a widow at age 21 after losing her husband to the cold hands of death.

The bereaved wife shared a touching video of her hair being shaved off by a group of elderly women, in accordance with their custom.

In a tear-jerking write-up, the lady paid tribute to her late husband.

“Married at the age of 20 gave birth at the age of 21 and becomes widow at the age of 21. A while back, the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) listed five conditions that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, must fulfil before he can debate with a representative of their candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that Tinubu was noticeably absent at the presidential town hall meeting organized by Arise TV on November 6. The likes of Peter Obi, Kwankwaso were present while PDP’s Atiku Abubakar was represented by his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa.

Popular Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, has publicly apologized to his wife, Seyi Edun, for a video of himself with a lady that sparked rumors of an affair.

A selfie video of the married actor and a lady in a car recently found its way to the internet and caused a stir, as many concluded that he (Adeniyi) is in an amorous relationship with the lady.

It was gathered that the lady had shared the video online, gushing over him and calling him endearing names.

Amid the controversy, Adeniyi clarified in a lengthy post on his Instagram page that the lady in the video is an overzealous fan.

According to him, she approached him for a photo while he was driving out, and he couldn’t get down from his car because he was rushing to another set.

He apologized to his wife, Seyi, and promised to get to the root of the matter.

He also urged the lady to speak up and clear the misconception.

“I will not pretend like nothing happened today, and this is not to debunk anything as no one debunks what never happened or what you didn’t do!!! A doctor has advised Nigerians and religious leaders to stop demonizing Caesarean Section (CS) because there’s nothing wrong with it.

@drpenking gave this admonition on Twitter, while recounting the sad story of how a woman in labour lost her baby and womb because she refused to undergo CS.

He said the woman had an obstructed labour and was advised to do CS to save her life and that of the baby but she refused because her pastor told her she will ‘deliver like the Hebrew women’.

Sadly, she developed more complications in the process, the baby died in her uterus and her womb had to be evacuated.

Reacting, Dr Penking urged Nigerians to stop criticizing CS because it’s a life-saving procedure and doesn’t make a woman less of a woman.

He tweeted,

“She had an obstructed labour. The Doctor on call decided on CS. She said that her pastor told her that she’ll deliver “like the Hebrew women” and besides they don’t use to do CS in her family. She asked to be taken to church. She was later rushed back to the hospital

She had had uterine rupture with total myometrial and serosal disruption. Baby was floating in the peritoneum, dead. Uterus was bleeding like an ocean and could not be repaired . It was removed . The child was her first child. She lost her first child and lost her womb for life.

Stop demonizing CS. It is a life-saving procedure and nothing is wrong with it. For all pastors who keep making women lose their children by telling them lies, God will ask you on your dying bed.

The interesting incident unfolded at the 20th anniversary of Rory Thunder in Lekki, Lagos, over the weekend, sparking sweet reactions from fans.

The ‘Somebody’s son singer was one of the guest artistes at the event without knowing Patoranking was also in the building.

When she was performing one of her songs, the DJ switched to a  Patoranking’s song she featured in titled ‘Girlie O’, and the singer sneaked up onstage and started rocking her behind.

At first, Tiwa Savage didn’t recognize Patoranking because he disguised in a rastafarian’s outfit with dreads, but she continued dancing with him, and even twerked up a storm on him.

The ‘Abule’ cronner was then handed a microphone so he could join her in performing. It was at that point Tiwa Savage realized that it was Patoranking she was dancing with all along. Her face lit up instantly and she proceeded to hug him.

Popular Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has shared a heartwarming video showing the moment he paid a surprise visit to his daughter at school.

The actor, who doesn’t joke with his first daughter, Mercy, expressed how he missed her so much after being away for a while.

According to him, he couldn’t wait till the Christmas holiday, so he showed up at her school unannounced to see her.

Chinenye Eucharia, the young girl adopted by popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has finally spoken up following rumours that she and the actress are at loggerheads.

For weeks now, Destiny and Chinenye have not been seen together, neither have they posted pictures together on their respective social media pages.

This raised several speculations online about the reason behind their alleged clash as netizens wonder why Chinenye, a budding actress being groomed by Destiny Etiko, stopped acting in the actress’ production.

In the trending clip which has amassed over 600k views on TikTok so far, the woman spoke passionately about the ‘dangers’ of masturbation and said it will put a curse on one’s family.

In the 46-seconds video, the woman, speaking against masturbation, said,

“Masturbation is a form of witchcraft.

Not anyone is realizing that this is a demonic attack its a form of witchcraft. Masturbation is a form of control.

“You understand you are literally controlling an orgasm, you’re controlling your own pleasure, that is witchcraft.

“That is a curse that you begin to place over your own life that will then literally bleed into your future children’s life.

Presidential candidate of the ruling party – All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has explained why he has been snubbing live interviews and debates.

Tinubu, who snubbed another Presidential Town Hall meeting organized by Arise News which had three other leading candidates in attendance on Sunday, December 4, gave his reason during an interview in Chatham House in London on Monday.

According to him, those inviting him for debates and live interviews are only trying to use him to make money because he’s a marketable candidate.

Popular media personality, Daddy Freeze, has shared his opinion on the conversation of mothers taking money from their children without paying it back.

A Twitter user identified as Dekunle revealed that his mum took money from him but refused to pay it back because she carried him for 9 months.

He wrote;

“I borrowed someone € 350 to buy bag, e reach time to collect am back, she’s telling me she carried me for nine months.”

Daddy Freeze replied to him and called out the act as manipulative, urging this generation not to normalize it.

Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna has advised people to ensure they honor and respect their parents.

The actor took to his Instagram story to share reasons why people should value their parents.

According to him, many parents are not where they are meant to be because they sacrificed their personal growth for their children’s growth.

He wrote,

“Dear bro / sis,
Respect and honor your parents always Many parents are not where they meant to be … Coz they sacrificed their personal growth for yours.
It’s time to pay them back.”

In other news, a Nigerian lady in the United Kingdom has lamented the alarming rate of financial requests from her family and friends back home.

The lady who shared her plight in a trending video noted that it’s impossible to put a call through to her people back in Nigeria without them asking for financial favors.

She urged people living in Nigeria who have family abroad to do better, as things are not as easy for Nigerians in the diaspora as they seem.

Her words,

“I can’t be the only one that this thing is happening to. You can’t even call your people in Nigeria, the next thing is ‘billing’. It is not easy here either. I’m just going home, night shift.
