Nigerian singer, Teni, has recalled how her colleague, Davido, once canceled an important meeting to show up for her.

Teni made this revelation while speaking on media personality N6’s podcast, describing Davido as an amazing human who goes all out for people.

Teni, who was a guest on the podcast, discussed a variety of topics, including the tragic death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.

N6 reveals that since the tragedy, he has put Davido, Chioma, and his family in his daily prayers. Teni then cuts in and says, “Davido has been really good to me.”

She went on to recount how he canceled an important meeting that involved sealing a deal just to be there for the music video shoot of her song, “For You.”

A Nigerian gospel singer, Mark Saladin has been thrown into mourning after losing his fiancée, Deborah, in a fatal car crash eleven days to their wedding.

It was gathered that the couple were both involved in the car accident which occurred along Gashua damaturualo, Yobe State, on Saturday November 19, but sadly Deborah died from the injuries she sustained on Sunday.

A friend of the couple, Evangelist Isaac Iko-Ojo, who took to Facebook to confirm the tragic news, disclosed that they were set to wed on December 3, 2022.

He wrote,

It is with deep pain in my heart, I inform you that min mark saladin a.k.a yaron zaki whose wedding is 3rd Dec, lost his fiance (Deborah) They were involved in a car accident along Gashua damaturu late hours of Saturday evening. In other news, two female police officers, identified as PC Godiya and PC Kubra, have died in a fatal car accident while travelling to Akwa Ibom state.
The deceased officers, who were serving with the Borno State Police Command, were travelling to Akwa Ibom for the 13th Biennial Police Games Uyo 2022 when they were involved in a car crash along Jos axis, claiming their lives.

A woman identified as Princess Helen Abang has been remanded in Suleja Custodial Center for falsifying ownership of a two-story structure with six units of three-bedroom apartments by Hon. Justice K.N. Ogbonnaya of a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Zuba.

The woman who claimed to be the owner of the building in the Federal Capital Territory’s Wuse Zone 6 at Plot 70, Yaounde Street, also rented it out without the owner’s permission.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ego Olejeme, the 80-year-old owner of the home, apparently learned of the trespass in 2006 and had been trying in vain to reclaim the assets until the trespasser was apprehended on November 7, 2022.

Abang missed two court dates, and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

According to the prosecuting lawyer, Abdulrasheed Sidi;

“The accused rented other 5 flats of the 3-bedroom and used the proceeds to fight the widow from recovering the houses since 2006.
She illegally trespassed on the property and has remained there till she was arrested on 7th November, 2022 and charged to Court.
On 7th November when the case came up for hearing, she refused to show up , but was moving from office to office in order to frustrate the case.”

Abang, who was detained by the police after being arrested on November 7 and brought before a judge on November 22, 2022, pled not guilty to the seven counts that were read out by Hon. Justice Ogbonnaya.

The judge postponed the hearing on her bail application until November 25. The dates for the substantial suit hearing have been set for December 13–15, 2022.

A Nigerian man identified as Ade has called out for help, regarding a problem he encountered in his relationship.

He took to his social media account to share his plight as he sought help on how to salvage his predicament.

According to the man, he had commented on another woman’s post to compliment her and his fiance broke off the relationship with him.

He wrote;

“Please house help me out because this has become problem. Is it bad to comments on a lady’s picture who you don’t love? Because my fiancée is angry that I commented and broke the relationship.”

Netizens asked him the type of comment that would cause his girlfriend to break up with him and he stated that it was just a harmless compliment.

In related news, a young Nigerian man, simply identified as Tunde, has been confronted by his girlfriend for flirting with her female friend.

In screenshots of their conversation making the rounds online, the girlfriend, who discovered that her man had been having improper conversations with one of her friends via Instagram DM, queried him about it.

She said that after collecting her friend’s phone and reading through her chats, she discovered that her boyfriend had been asking for explicit pictures of her in an attempt to flirt with her.

She asked why he was having nasty conversations with her friend, whom she identified simply as Tolani, despite being in a relationship with her and knowing they were friends.

However, responding to his girlfriend’s accusations, Tunde, who admitted to flirting with his girlfriend’s friend, immediately put up a defense, saying that flirting isn’t cheating.

According to him, engaging in sexually explicit conversations with his girlfriend’s friend and asking the lady for her nude pictures isn’t cheating, as long as they didn’t have intercourse.

His words,

“You want to make it seem like I am in the wrong here. You’re reading to much meaning to this, you are overthinking again. The evidence you have against me is actually for me. It proves I’m loyal to flirt with other girls without getting down with them. I respect my woman, you wont find that anywhere”.

Reality TV star, Tolanibaj has given a savage response to those criticizing her decision to become a Disc Jockey (DJ).

The former Big Brother Naija star and YouTuber, who recently announced that she’s now a DJ, took to her Twitter page to slam those berating her new-found career.

According to her, she finds it appalling whenever she reads vile comments from grown men and women about her career path, and wonders why people who can barely feed criticize hardworking celebrities on the internet.

She further told those who don’t have positive or encouraging things to say to her to desist from commenting on her page.

DJ Tolanibaj wrote,

“If you think your negative comments will discourage my new DJ career path, you’ve thought wrong.

It’s also baffling when I read vile comments from grown men & women who ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The latest graduate, who gave her name as “Chsiom” in a trending video, expressed her joy about the feat and proudly revealed her class of degree.

She boasted about graduating with a third-class degree and challenged those who think it’s easy to try pursuing a degree.

The elated lady showed off her statement of result, which had “pass” boldly written on it.

Davido’s first babymama, Sophia Momodu, has tendered a public apology to Nigerians over her birthday post to the singer, which many tagged ‘insensitive’.

Recall that Davido turned 30 on Monday, November 22, and despite his break from social media since the death of his son, fans, celebrities, and well-wishers took to social media on the occasion of his birthday to pray and shower encomiums on him.

Similarly, his 7-year-old daughter, Imade, via her Instagram page managed by her mother, Sophia Momodu, shared a family photo of herself with the singer and his other two kids, including late Ifeanyi Adeleke.

“Happy birthday daddy! I wish you peace, joy & love”, she captioned the photo.

However, the post didn’t sit well with many fans of the DMW boss who were enraged at Sophia for posting a photo of late Ifeanyi on Davido’s birthday, and they also dragged her to filth for not mourning Ifeanyi publicly after his death.

Reacting to the backlash, Sophia Momodu has now released a statement dated October 22 2022, via her daughter’s Instagram page, to apologize for her action.

The statement reads,

“I realize that the earlier post may come across as insensitive and I sincerely apologize as that was not the intention.

Imade deeply loves her father and all her siblings, and as a mother, I’m doing my best to guide her through the difficult emotion of grief from the loss of her brother whilst trying to celebrate her father’s birthday.

I ask for your consideration and hope that you all can be understanding during these times.

It’s a season of joy for a woman, identified as Mrs Rita Emuh Onyekachukwu, and her husband as they welcome a set of twins after 13 years of marriage.

The new mom recently took to her Facebook page to share the good news with her followers, and appreciated everyone who attended her children’s naming ceremony.

Sharing photos from the event, Mrs Onyekachukwu wrote,

Popular American singer, August Alsina has seemingly come out to the world as gay as he reveals he has a boyfriend.

The 30-year-old singer opened up about his sexuality at the end of this week’s episode of The Surreal Life.

August, who had an affair which was labelled an ‘entanglement’ with popular actor, Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett in 2020, showed off his boyfriend named Zu.

During the confessional, he said,

“I would like a love that feels limitless.

And then what do you know? Love showed up, but in a new way. I want to share that and really honor the person that I love and that loves me back and teaching me so much about love and healing.

I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like.”

His boyfriend then walked into the set to join him in. They embraced each other on camera and August told Zu, “I love you”.
