Chacha Eke-Faani has said she recognizes herself in the boy who recently wreaked havoc on his mother’s home because she seized his phone.
A report recently made rounds online that the boy, said to be 15-year-old, destroyed everything in the house because his mum seized his phone.
The boy’s mother later spoke up to clear the air. She said her son is 15 and has a mental health crisis.
While reacting to the video, Chacha admitted that she’d done same in the past.
She added that she has destroyed properties and damaged many items when she was having a mental health crisis.
Chacha Eke-Faani’s mental health issues were brought up a couple of years ago when she revealed she was leaving her marriage and hinted at being abused by him.
She later revealed that she has a mental illness called bipolar disorder and it gets worse when she’s pregnant.
A 49-year-old widow identified as Dorothy Dike and her son, Osinachi Ndukwe, could not hold back tears as their only vehicle which they acquired at the rate of N1.8.million on hire purchase, was being auctioned for N450,000.
On Thursday the 15th of September, the Lagos State Government through its Ministry of Justice and The state Taskforce, organised the public auction of over 134 abandoned and forfeited vehicles, at Lagos State Task Force’ headquarters, Alausa, Ikeja, where a crowd of auctioneers, agents, buyers and vehicle owners gathered to salvage the best out of the situation.
The Widow and her son were happy at the beginning when their mini bus (Korope), with number plate, ANAMBRA NEN 347 YX, was displayed for auction with an opening bid of N50,000, but the joy was short-lived because few minutes later, the bid kept increase and when it hit N430K, the atmosphere changed as they wept profusely, rolled on the ground, and begged for price reduction.
The bid was about to close when suddenly the mother and son shouted N450,000 loudly, “help us, help us, please, don’t increase the price again. We cannot afford this but we are hopeful that the vehicle will be ours so that we can work again and raise money to feed ourselves.”
In her words ;
“Help me, help me. I am happy to repurchase the bus but the problem is that we cannot afford N450,000. I am a widow with two children and I hawk herbs on the streets of Lagos for survival. Osinachi is my son and I lost his father three months after delivery and since then, I have been battling to feed my children.
When we heard that the bus will be auctioned today, we borrowed N59,000 to attend the event. Unfortunately, the price for the bus was closed at N450,000,” she lamented.
Osinachi who was visibly downcast, narrated how he became a commercial driver due to unemployment.
The 31-year-old said ;
“I bought the bus at N1.8 million on hired purchase in 2021 and was plying Ijegun enroute Cele Expressway. The bus was three months old and I had remitted N300,000 when I drove against traffic in Cele area and the bus was impounded.
Not only that, I was sentenced to three years imprisonment which I completed recently but before the completion, information reached me that my three years old daughter was ill due to lack of fund and before I completed the jail term, I got information that she had died.
I am here with my mother with the expectation that we will buy the bus at the rate of N50,000. Surprisingly, the price was closed at N450,000 and we have 48 hours to complete the payment.
We have sold most of our belongings to feed and are left with nothing. This is a great problem before us. My father died while I was three years old and my mother has been there for me but there is no way she can raise N450,000.
Who will I turn to at a time many Nigerians are finding it difficult to feed? I don’t know what to do again”
A Nigerian lady has recounted how she almost lost the use of one of her legs after she was poisoned by her female friend.
In a video trending online, the lady, identified as @mhizfavy30 on TikTok, detailed her ordeal and warned people to beware of fake friends.
Recalling her experience, the young lady said it all started with an excruciating pain in leg which she treated with over-the-counter drugs but the pain only increased.
She said she could not walk for more than a month and went to different places for a cure but she was told that she would not be able to walk again and would be confined to a wheel chair.
Her hope was ignited again after she met a prophet who healed her completely. According to her, they discovered that she was poisoned by her friend, and the prophet made incisions on her leg to prevent the poison from spreading further.
The young lady, who shared videos of the treatment she underwent before she got well, thanked God for healing her. She also shared videos as proof that she can now walk and use her leg freely.
Opeyemi Falegan, ex-boyfriend of popular actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has lambasted her for mentioning his name in a recent interview.
The actress granted an interview on TVC’s “Your View” today, September 15, where she disclosed that she decided to date Falegan simply because wanted to make her American ex-boyfriend, Mike Adeyemi, jealous.

Popular Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, and her estranged lover, Opeyemi Falegan, have entered into a fresh bout after she made reference to him during a recent interview.

A young female street beggar was recently spotted using a stuffed baby to beg for alms in Lagos.
A video that was posted online captures the moment the beggar approached passengers in a private vehicle and began begging for donations while holding a baby in her arms.
The observant passengers, however, suspected that the baby was not real, so they asked the beggar to show the child’s face.
She first resisted showing her baby’s face, but eventually gave in when the passengers insisted they would only give her money after showing her baby’s face.
She then pulled back the clothes covering the supposed baby, only for the passengers to find that there was nothing under except additional clothing.

The man, while speaking to a televangelist whom he and his wife had visited for counseling after she found out he cheated on her, said he did it to make her lose weight.

A Nigerian man, Arinze Uzoagu, who recently became a father after six years of waiting, has said it’s a man’s duty to protect his wife from social pressure and the stigma of infertility.
Uzoagu and his wife, Chinaza Blessing, welcomed quadruplets, three girls and a boy, in early April, 2022, after six years of waiting.
Taking to his Facebook page to advise couples still trusting God for the fruit of the womb, he urged women to always strive to make their home a peaceful environment and not let frustrations as a result of infertility turn them into wrecks.
He noted that infertility is a big enough problem for a person or couple going through it, and they do not need further pressure from family and friends.
The proud-father-of-four wrote on Facebook,
“Infertility is enough problem for a person or couple going through it. Infertility is enough pressure on people going through that phase in life.
“They need happiness and love to conquer. What they don’t need is further pressure from family and friends. You can suggest possible solutions for them but do it with love and subtle approach.

The mother of the boy who destroyed their home has spoken up after a video showing the aftermath of the destruction went viral on the internet.
A report recently made rounds online that the boy, said to be 12-year-old, destroyed everything in the house because his mum seized his phone.
The boy destroyed all the household items, including a kitchen table, window, gadgets, television, toilet seats, and other items.
The video which is currently circulating online has elicited varying reactions from social media users, who shared their two cent on the incident.
While some berated the boy’s parents for failing to raise him properly and instill good qualities in him, others proffered ways they could discipline him for his action.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has reacted after a man claimed he bought a cloth from a roadside stall just days after boasting about spending N50 million on designer clothing.
It would be recalled that the singer made headlines a few days ago after he bragged about owning more designer outfits than embattled Nigerian socialite, Hushpuppi.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Phyna, has advised fellow housemate Sheggz to refrain from getting involved in fights between his love interest, Bella, and other housemates.

Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, the Governor of Ondo state is bereaved.
The Governor announced the demise of his mother who died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning.
Sharing her photo on his official Twitter page, he wrote –
My siblings and I announce, with deepest regret and total submission to the will of the Almighty, the passing into glory of our adorable, dutiful and ever dotting mother, Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu, this morning. She died peacefully in her sleep.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Olatunde shared more details about her passing in a statement.
“The mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu is dead,” the statement reads.
“She died peacefully in her sleep early this morning. Mama was 90 years old.
“She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.”
Mr Olatunde said further announcements will be made by the family in “due course.”

A royal guard standing watch over Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin in Westminster Hall collapsed late Wednesday, September 14.
As mourners paid respects to the late monarch as she lay in state at Westminster Hall, one of the royal guards who was standing at the foot of the Queen’s casket suddenly fell to the floor.
Two men immediately hurried to help the guard who fell headfirst to the floor.
The incident was captured on camera and is currently making the rounds online.

Reacting to her death, Adamu Garba said that the only way the queen can be immortalized in Nigeria is by changing the name of the University of Nigeria to “Queen Elizabeth University of Nigeria”.

An Indian actress, Mahalakshni, has lashed out at those body-shaming her husband, Ravindar Chandrasekaran, and accusing her of marrying him for his money.
The actress, who recently tied the knot with the movie producer whom she met while featuring in his yet-to-be released movie, has been subjected to heavy criticism since their wedding.
While some attacked her husband because of his appearance and weight, others accused her of choosing to marry him for the sake of his money.
Unperturbed by the vile comments they have been receiving, the newlyweds went live on Instagram to lash out at those insulting them.
Mahalakshmi, who was previously married and has a son, said no one should be mocked because of their appearance, including her husband.
During the live session, a follower threw a jab at the couple and asked what would happen when Ravindar ‘lies on top of the actress’ during sexual intercourse.
Surprisingly, Ravindar gave a cool response, stating that love has no form.
He added that “this is not because I was a producer but because a fat man married a beautiful woman.”
Following the live session, Mahalaksmi granted an interview with Sun Television where she refuted reports that she married Ravindar because of his money.
She stated that she is financially stable and has been raising her son alone since she divorced her ex-husband.
The 32-year-old actress added that she didn’t even plan on remarrying but when Ravindar proposed marriage to her, she decided to give love another chance.
In a recent Instagram post, Rvaindar thanked those who dislikes his marriage to the actress, noting that one day they would make them love them. He captioned the image writing, “My clan has come to flourish, you can start hereafter with the grace of family god. Thank you to the hearts who love us. Thank you so much to the world that hate us. A video showing the moment reality TV star, Liquorose Afije, angrily stormed off a talent show over a joke about her failed relationship with her co-star, Emmanuel, is currently trending online.
It would be recalled that Liquorose and Emmanuel were a couple in the sixth edition of the Big Brother Naija show but their relationship hit the rocks over alleged infidelity after the show.
Well, Liquorose, a judge on popular talent show, De9jaspirit Talent Hunt, was met with a rather insensitive joke about her love life during an audition recently.
Two contestants, whose craft is comedy, tried to spin off a joke from Liquorose’s relationship with Emmanuel. However, this didn’t sit well with the 27-year-old dancer, and she angrily walked off the stage.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Peruzzi has hit back at social media commentator, Daniel Regha, for calling him an upcoming artiste.
The ‘majesty’ crooner had taken to Twitter to make a joke about the battle between some A-list Nigerian artistes over who was the first to jump on South African style of music, Amapiano.
Recall that there was an online debate about who pioneered Amapiano in Nigeria on Wednesday, September 12, after Wizkid dropped his latest single, Bad to Me.
In reaction to the drama, Peruzzi tweeted, “Na me bring”.
Daniel Regha, who is known for his critical analysis on issues about celebrities, berated Peruzzi for shading his ‘senior’ colleagues in the industry when he’s only an ‘upcoming’ artist.
He also advised the singer, who is a close ally of Davido, not to inherit anyone’s enemy in the industry out of loyalty.
Daniel tweeted,

Nollywood actor, Somadina has lashed out at fans of Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Phyna, who didn’t agree with his tweet berating their fave over her fight with fellow housemate, Bella .
After the verbal altercation between Phyna and Bella on Tuesday afternoon, Somadina, via his Twitter handle, shared his opinion on the brawl between the two ladies.
He accused Phyna of always ‘overreacting’ to issues in the house.
“Phyna be doing too much, if not for big brother rules you go break Bella legs cos you are from the streets lol… na you be first agbero girl.. Mtcheew”. He wrote in a now deleted tweet.
Recall that during the fight, Phyna had stated that if not for Big Brother’s rules, she would have physically attacked Bella for being rude to her.
Apparently, fans of the level-up housemate who didn’t agree with Somadina’s post about their favorite stormed his page to drag him to filth.
In a rather surprising move, Somadina fired back by visiting their inboxes with curses.

A mother of one who joined a viral TikTok trend of Nigerian ladies sharing their “grass to grace” stories has narrated how she gave birth to a baby boy for her boss, who employed her as a cook.
In a video she posted on social media in celebration of her success, the delighted woman, identified as Sally Manuel, said she had fallen in love with her employer not long after she started working at his residence.
Fortunately for her, he was a single man who was looking to settle down. She said he started making passes at her, they got intimate, she fell pregnant, and they recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.
According to her, he has now promised to marry her by December.
Narrating her story, she wrote,
“I got employed to be the cook for this cute bachelor. The salary wasn’t good but I still did my job with joy. I had a crush on oga sha. I always smiled and watched him eat my food.
“I hoped he saw that I liked him not knowing that he actually really liked me but couldn’t speak up cause he had a very bad heartbreak and couldn’t speak up anymore. One day he engaged me in a deep conversation, one thing led to another. I have given oga a son. He is coming to see my people this December.”
A 24-year-old woman, identified as Simphiwe, has kicked the bucket after she was reportedly ‘slapped’ by her father, Fannie Mtshali, during an altercation.
The incident took place in Mpumalanga, South Africa, on Saturday night and the suspect – the deceased’s father – has been arrested by the police.
It was reported that the 58-year-old man had a heated argument with his daughter around 11pm on the ill-fated day, which degenerated into a physical confrontation.
During the fight, Mtshali reportedly dealt a heavy ‘slap’ on his daughter’s face and she fainted immediately.
When the police and paramedics arrived the scene, the beautiful young lady had already given up the ghost.
Her father, Mtshali has been remanded in prison till his court hearing on September 19 for a formal bail application.
The Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Lieutenant General Semakaleng Daphney Manamela, reacting to the incident, said he was saddened by the lady’s death and wished the incident played out differently.
“Though children should be brought up to be disciplined however parents should avoid using violence. Parents are the ones that must protect their children as well as their families. Gender-Based-Violence remains classified as a pandemic and we cannot turn a blind eye on this dreadful scourge,” he added.
Evicted Big Brother Naija level-up housemate turned ‘guest’, Chomzy, has revealed that she dreamt about her life after the show.
Chomzy was one of the three housemates who were evicted during the live eviction show on Sunday but still remained in the house, enjoying some of the housemates’ privileges as a result of a level 3 twist introduced by the organizers of the show.
However, during a chat with Adekunle on Wednesday morning, Chomzy narrated the somewhat worrisome dream she had. She revealed that in the dream, despite having participated in the show, she wasn’t famous.

Recall that Phyna, the current Head of House, and Bella got into a heated argument on Tuesday afternoon when the former asked the latter to suspend her discussion with Chomzy during a wager task meeting.
This triggered Bella, who immediately responded to Phyna that she had no right, even as the Head of House, to dictate to her.
The argument resulted in a war of words between the ladies as they called each other unprintable names.
Sharing his opinion on the brawl, Pere, who was known for his stern rule during his time serving as the Head of House in the Shine Ya Eye season, defended Phyna.
He asserts that anyone who disrespects the HOH position is doing so out of pure condescension.
