There’s so much drama between Big Brother Naija housemate, Bella Okagbue and her love interest, Sheggz Olu, and it’s been only three weeks.
From the onset of the show, Sheggz was evidently swooned by the Anambra state-born housemate and professed his feelings to her, stating that he wants to pursue a serious relationship with her.
However, Bella has been blowing hot and cold. This minute, she seems interested in the professional footballer and the next minute, she acts like she doesn’t like him.
For the umpteenth time, Sheggz decided to speak to her about their relationship today, and he complained that she’s not reciprocating his care and attention.
Speaking to the 25-year-old UNILAG graduate who was in bed and wrapped up in a duvet, Sheggz admitted that he knows she’s a prize but he’s a prize too and any girl he ends up with will be lucky and blessed because he’s handsome, loyal and talented.
He said he goes all in when he finds a lady he wants to be with, but she also has to make effort in the relationship and not expect him to do all the work.
Responding to the 26-year-old England-based actor, Bella who seemed irritated by the conversation, told him to leave her alone.
She added that she’s not doing enough in their ‘relationship’ and she will never be enough.

Lawyer wins 22-year court battle involving 100 hearings after he was overcharged for a train ticket in 1999
An Indian lawyer, Tungnath Chaturvedi, has won a 22-year court battle involving 100 hearings after he was overcharged for a train ticket in 1999.
Chaturvedi paid 20 rupees (21p) more than he should have for two tickets on a North East Railway service from Mathura to Moradabad in 1999. He was handed over 100 rupees for two tickets on the regional railway line, which cost 35 rupees each.
He should have been given 30 rupees back, but the clerk gave him just ten, leaving him 20 rupees out of pocket.
Interestingly, after a 22-year legal battle with the company and the clerk, a court in the northern province has awarded Mr. Chaturvedi compensation of 15,000 rupees (£154).
Speaking in a chat with BBC, Chaturvedi said,
“I have attended more than 100 hearings in connection with this case. But you can’t put a price on the energy and time I’ve lost. It’s not the money that matters.”
The court also ordered North East Railway to pay 12 per cent interest on the 20-rupee overcharge for each of the 22 years, totaling 280 rupees (£2.90).
That brings the railroaded passenger’s overall payback to £156.90, and if it isn’t paid within 30 days, the railway company must pay 15 per cent interest.
A railway tribunal had dismissed the case, but India’s Supreme Court ruled that the lawsuit could be heard in a more sympathetic consumer court.
Chaturvedi said his family advised him to give up the case, but he persisted anyway, and represented himself in court.
He added that he hopes his case can be an inspiration to others.
“One doesn’t need to give up even when the fight looks tough.” He said.

Big Brother Naija ‘level up’ housemate, Segun Daniel Olusemo a.k.a Sheggz, had a minor altercation with his love interest, Chidimma Esther Okagbue a.k.a Bella, this morning, August 11.
Sheggz, who has been the one cooking for the both of them, had asked Bella to make breakfast for them today but she blatantly refused.
He, thenm, decided to do the cooking instead but Bella switched up on him and said she’s not going to eat the food he cooked.
This seemingly infuriated Sheggz, who has repeatedly expressed interest in her and subtly hinted at wanting to marry her after the show, and he gave her a piece of his mind.
Confronting her in a mature way, he called her selfish and self-centered for refusing to cook for them and still refusing to eat his meal.
He said he’s a selfless person and can’t cook without cooking for her as well, and that her attitude is unbecoming because this is the first time he is asking her to cook for them and it would have cost her nothing to cook.
Bella, however, felt disrespected by his statement and tackled him for his tone, but Sheggz said he wasn’t trying to disrespect her and was only expressing his feelings.

#BBNaija: “Kess’ wife had a miscarriage” – Family gives details on son’s death
The family of Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Kesiena Adjekpovu, popularly known as Kess, has revealed that his wife had a miscarriage.
It was earlier reported that the 28-year-old married housemate lost his son on the 25th of July, 2022, just three days after the show started.
Giving details on the tragic incident in an official statement on Thursday, the family said Kess’ wife had a miscarriage and she’s now in perfect condition.
The family asked for support and prayers as he continues his quest in the Big Brother house.
The statement read,
“The past weeks have been most trying for the family of Adjepkovu. We are saddened by the loss of Kess’s son through a miscarriage but we are comforted by the well wishes and kind thoughts of friends around. Special regards to the wife for being strong and courageous through the whole experience.
”Kess is a strong character and would need our prayers right now as he continues his quest in the Bigbrother show. The family asks for respectful consideration during this private time. Thank you”.

Tony, the Chairman of Heirs Holding and Transcorp, and his wife, Awele Vivien Elumelu, a medical doctor, tied the knot in 1993 and their union has produced seven lovely children.

Sharing their encounters during a question and answer session with popular wedding photographer, Henry Orji, on Instagram, a photographer narrated how a groom had a threesome on his wedding day and the women were present at the event.
According to the photographer, he had to wait for the groom to finish his escapade before they started the shoot.

A video currently making the rounds online shows a police officer panicking and pleading after a motorist’s dog charged at him at a checkpoint.
The motorist was in his car with his black Cane Corso dog when he approached the checkpoint at Ogoni, River state. As the officer tried to stop the car, apparently for a search, the dog launched at him.
Before the policeman could begin questioning the motorist, his dog barked ferociously at the officer, making him nervous.
The frightened officer quickly started pleading with the man in a friendly manner, stressing that they are together and that there was no need for aggression.
”E don reach like that? we are together,” he said while the dog continued barking.
The pet’s owner stopped it from attacking the policeman as it appeared ready to jump out of the car.
He was eventually permitted to drive off without being searched or asked to present his car documents.

They were divided into teams and each team was expected to prepare a predetermined meal with the cooking cube.

Police arrest lesbian who allegedly stabbed her partner’s husband to death in Anambra
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed her lesbian partner’s husband to death in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The deceased, identified as Ikechukwu Onuma, who was a staff member of the College of Health, Onitsha, is said to have walked in on his wife making out with her female lover in their residence along Ogboli road, Onitsha, on Tuesday, August 9.
Onuma reportedly came home unannounced on Tuesday night to find his wife in bed with another woman. Unknown to him, his wife, Nkemdilim, whom he has married since 2019, is a lesbian and had been keeping a female sex partner.
The suspect is said to have quickly attacked the man with a kitchen knife, stabbing him to death in a bid to silence him.
Confirming the incident to reporters, the spokesperson of the Anambra state Police command, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, revealed that the suspect has been arrested.
“We have a suspect in custody and the Commissioner of Police, CP Echeng Echeng, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the State CID for proper investigation. Preliminary information shows that the suspect stabbed the victim in the chest. He was rushed to the hospital before he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.” He said.

Man allegedly stabbed to death by his wife’s lesbian lover in Anambra
A Nigerian man identified as Ikechukwu Onuma, popularly known as Ayaaya, has been allegedly stabbed to death by his wife’s lesbian lover in Onitsha, Anambra State.
It was gathered that Ikechukwu was attacked by his wife’s female lover after he walked in on them making out in his house on Monday, July 8.
Details of the incident are still sketchy. However, viral reports claimed that Ikechukwu arrived home unexpectedly and saw his wife having sex with her lesbian girlfriend. In the midst of the altercation, the suspect fatally stabbed him.
The deceased’s relatives and friends have turned to social media to lament his untimely passing and demand that justice be served.
Sharing a photo of the deceased’s wife, Nkemdili, and her alleged lover, one TR Hon. Charles Anwah wrote, “She must pay for it.”
A friend of the deceased, Ifeoma Maria Ikpeazu Ekwuno wrote,

Alleged Rape: Friends celebrate as court grants actor Moses Armstrong bail
Embattled Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong, has been granted bail by a High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Moses, who was arrested on June 16 for allegedly raping a teenage girl, was granted bail on Wednesday, August 10.
Recall that the Akwa Ibom State Police Command arrested popular the actor for allegedly raping the minor, said to be a 16-year-old girl.
The national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, had confirmed Armstrong’s arrest when he described the case as “a very serious one”.

However, as she read some of the comments, an unflattering one caught her attention where the troll said “Your voice no sweet”… this made the singer respond savagely telling the troll that they are “mad” for saying such about her.

The new bride, identified as Tabeellah, took to Twitter on Wednesday, August 10, to announce that she got married to her husband last month, and shared beautiful pictures from their Nikah wedding ceremony.
According to her, she sent him a direct message (DM) on Instagram five years ago and now they are married.
She captioned the pictures,

Family announces burial arrangements for late actress, Ada Ameh
The family of late Nollywood star, Ada Ameh, has released her funeral arrangements.
Ada Ameh passed away on Sunday, July 17, in Warri, Delta state.
According to the obituary released, the burial activities will begin with a novelty match and a candlelight service on August 19 in Lagos, where the actress lived most of her life.
On Thursday, August 25, there will be a candlelight service at Saint Mary’s Primary School, Ogobia, in Benue State. The funeral service and interment will follow at her father’s compound in the Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.
In other news, Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia has revealed why she called out her colleague, Real Warri Pikin, and others over their clout-chasing condolence visit to the family of late actress, Ada Ameh.
This comes after the mother of one told her colleagues to drop their cameras at home when going for a condolence visit as it’s not every occasion that should be used as content.
She also slammed a certain celebrity who filmed her condolence visit to late Ada Ameh’s family, took time to edit and add an emotional soundtrack to it before posting it online.
It was later disclosed that she was throwing jabs at comedienne and actress, Real Warri Pikin.

“Emotions were high that night” – Tanzania-based show promoter admits Kizz Daniel’s reason for not performing was not because he didn’t have his gold chain (Video)
The Tanzania-based show promoter for Kizz Daniel’s concert has admitted to lying about the singer refusing to perform because he didn’t have his gold chain.
Steven Uwa who sat for an interview with Daddy Freeze with Kizz Daniel’s brother, Tolu, revealed how pressing technical issues was what stopped the Nigerian singer from performing.
When asked by the media personality why he claimed Kizz Daniel insisted that he won’t perform because he didn’t have his gold chain, he said “emotions were high that night”.
When Kizz Daniel’s brother shared that he was not paid in full, Steven said that the $60,000 he said earlier was paid, was not paid to Kizz Daniel directly but to an agency managed by music executive, Paul Okoye.
Steven then admitted that the singer tried to salvage the situation and also meet with fans to apologize and postpone the show after arriving for the event 1 hour to his performance, following an 8-hour flight delay in Kenya. According to him, the show promoters told him there’s no need for that as they will take care of it, but never did.
Tolu who revealed that the contract for the show allowed for it to be postponed, also added that Kizz Daniel also offered to pay for a hall and for other things to ensure that the show was successful if postponed, which the show promoters agreed to but reneged after things took a negative turn.
He also stated that the singer was not arrested but taken in for questioning to know what really happened.
Steven admitted that all these happened, but said they were only trying not to have issues with authorities because they are new in business in the country and also didn’t know how to tell the concert-goers that it has been postponed.

OnlyFans model, Courtney Chenney charged with murdering Nigerian-American boyfriend, Christian Obumseli at their Miami apartment
A 25-year-old OnlyFans and Instagram model, Courtney Clenney is facing a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend at their Miami high-rise back in April.
Clenney who got apprehended in Hawaii on Wednesday August 10, is currently awaiting extradition to Florida, where she’ll face a second-degree murder charge for allegedly killing 27-year-old Christian Obumseli in April.
The model who has 2 million followers on Instagram, allegedly stabbed Obumseil in the chest on April 3 following a fight at their luxury apartment building in Miami’s ritzy Edgewater neighborhood.
A video obtained by TMZ at the time showed a woman covered in blood and surrounded by police officers in the building.
It was also gathered that the model had been at a rehab facility in Hawaii for substance abuse and post traumatic disorder when she was picked up by police, her attorney said.
Her defense attorney, Frank Prieto told Miami Herald;
“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged.
“We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Miami Police Chief Manuel Morales are expected to announce the charges at a news conference Thursday afternoon, August 11.
Friends said Obumseli and Clenney had moved into a unit in the luxury building after moving to South Florida from Texas in the past couple years.
In a statement shortly after Obumseli’s killing, Prieto said the two had a “tumultuous relationship” and that Clenney was a “victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse at the hands of Obumseli.”
The attorney claimed that Clenney acted in self-defense when Obumseil attacked her after stalking her for several weeks. According to him, the Instagram star was forced to stab Obumseli after he grabbed her by the throat.
According to the Herald, the pair had been living together for a few months at the apartment building, where staff noted multiple domestic incidents and even tried to evict them.
Lawyer Larry Handfield, who represents Obumseli’s family, pushed police to reopen the investigation. He said that cops visited the couple on at least four occasions for domestic calls and noted Obumseli was never taken into custody or charged.
Handfield also emphasized that Clenney wasn’t taken into custody despite allegedly having an open warrant for a 2015 public intoxication case from California. Clenney also was reportedly due in a Texas court on a 2020 DUI charge at the time of the killing.
The model claimed to be suicidal after the killing of Obumseli and spent time in a mental institution, officials said.
