Nigerian businessman Emeka Okonkwo, a.k.a. E-money, put a smile on the faces of his domestic staff by gifting them brand-new cars to celebrate his birthday.

On February 18, he celebrated his birthday by giving money and a car to some of his most wonderful friends and dedicated employees including his chef, barber, housekeeper, and cleaner.

Regardless of his brother, Kcee’s wealth, he presented him with a ₦20 million cheque, prompting a loud noise of excitement amidst the crowd in his residence.

Comedian FunnyBone also received a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser as a surprise gift.

On Instagram, the Five Star record label boss shared a heartwarming video of himself giving out gifts, with the caption,

“Birthday mode activated! I’m overwhelmed with joy and gratitude after celebrating with my incredible staff and friends. As a small token of my appreciation, I gave out car gifts and cash prizes to those who’ve been a vital part of my life and work. My amazing housekeeper, cleaner & chef, barber, and even my police detail and security personnel and my personal photographer 🕺- everyone received a car to show my heartfelt gratitude! Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe professionally known as Arya Starr won the “Best African Act” at the 2025 MOBO Awards held in Utilita Arena ​Newcastle in the United Kingdom on February 18.

The singer secured two prestigious awards at the annual British Music Award presentation honoring achievements in “music of black origin”.

At the 2025 MOBO Awards, Ayra Starr also received the esteemed “Best International Act” award. She triumphed over a competitive field of nominees, including fellow Nigerian artist Asake, as well as international stars Kendrick Lamar, Glorilla, Nicki Minaj, Tems, and Tyla.

In her acceptance speech, the 22-year-old overwhelmed by happiness, said,

A hairstylist’s reckless and intentional act of pouring hot water on a lady’s scalp while completing her hair has ignited rage and disbelief among online users.

In the widely shared video, the hairdresser held a kettle of boiling water as her customer sat backward in a chair, trying to keep the hot water from splashing onto her scalp.

Despite her client’s protests, she held the kettle close to her head and deliberately poured hot water onto the client’s scalp.

Originally intended to give the hair a curled braid finish for aesthetic purposes, the hot water eventually hurt her scalp.

In the video, a lady @amdavidlasty shared her experience eating cassava flakes with a variety of unexpected substances during the Garri Fest sign-out party.

In the viral clip, a male graduating student is seen mixing garri in a large bowl while gripping a large spoon.

He poured a lot of garri, then added milk, granola, grapes, a five-liter keg of groundnuts, and two bottles of alcoholic beverages.

As he added alcoholic beverages to the garri mixture, the crowd was astonished since garri isn’t consumed with alcohol.

While some netizens wondered about the outcome of individuals who consumed the “rich man garri”, others frowned at the harm the students were causing to their bodies by celebrating with such an odd food combination.

A man expressed outrage after his longtime childhood friend of 15 years declined his request to serve as best man at his wedding.

The video posted by @skulrebelastic filmed the man feeling betrayed and emotional. He exclaimed that his friend denied him of being a best man to the extent that he was ashamed among the groomsmen.

In the clip, a furious argument emerged among the groomsmen when the groom turned down his childhood friend because he wasn’t wealthy.

Speaking in Yoruba dialect, one of the groomsmen mentioned that he hadn’t paid for his wedding attire, yet wanted to serve as a best man.

“Because he is not wealthy, he was replaced as his best friend of 15 years’ best man. The friend claims he hasn’t even paid for the wedding gown yet, but he still wants to be best man”.

“USAID was funding Boko Haram and other terrorist groups” – US congressman, Scott Perry reveals (VIDEO)

US Congressman Scott Perry has disclosed that the United States Agency for International Development funded many terrorist groups, including Boko Haram.

Scott Perry, who is a Republican representing Pennsylvania, made this claim during the inaugural hearing of the Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency.

The session, titled ‘The War on Waste: Stamping Out the Scourge of Improper Payments and Fraud, focused on how taxpayers’ funds were misused.

Recall that US President Donald Trump had previously called for the closure of USAID, accusing the organization of corruption.

The Congressman could be heard in a video that has now gone viral, explaining how $697 million annually was used to fund terrorist training camps.

He could be heard saying,

“Who gets some of that money? Does that name ring a bell to anybody in the room? Because your money, your money, $697 million annually, plus the shipments of cash funds in Madrasas, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS Khorasan, terrorist training camps. That’s what it’s funding.

If you think that the programme under Operation Enduring Sentinel entitled Women’s Scholarship Endowment, which receives $60 million annually, or the Young Women Lead, which gets about $5 million annually, is going to women who, by the way, if you read the Inspector General’s report, is telling you that the Taliban does not allow women to speak in public, yet somehow you’re believing, and American people are supposed to believe, that this money is going for the betterment of the women in Afghanistan. 

It is not You are funding terrorism, and it’s coming through USAID. And it’s not just Afghanistan, because Pakistan’s right next door USAID spent $840 million in the last year, the last 20 years, on Pakistan’s education-related programme. It includes $136 million to build 120 schools, of which there is zero evidence that any of them were built. Why would there be any evidence? The Inspector General can’t get in to see them”
