A while ago, Nkechi Blessing shared her opinion about why women go under the knife to improve their physical features.
While it’s a common misconception that women have cosmetic surgery to enhance their feminine looks in order to attract men, the curvaceous thespian asserted that this is not the truth.
Nkechi Blessing stated in a post via her Insta-stories that most women undergo plastic surgery to feel good about themselves and not because they want to please or attract men.
“Any man that does not like the shape of your body does not deserve you. Truth is most of this ladies doing surgery are not even doing it because of a man. Some just wants to up their game, look nice in bikinis or body con, and some just to feel good about themselves.. But listen there are other ways to cut down excess fat… Working out regularly helped a lot of people I know!!” She wrote.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has spoken out in support of Owo residents summoning Ogun, the god of iron, to bring justice to those killed in the Owo church massacre on Sunday, June 5.
It was earlier reported that some women in the Owo community gathered to summon the god of iron and war, ‘Ogun’, to avenge the worshippers killed at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state.

Recall that gunmen stormed the Catholic church in Owo, Ondo state, and opened fire on worshippers, killing many and severely injuring scores.
The state government claims 22 people were killed in the horrific attack, while 52 survivors who were shot are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Center, Owo; St Louis Hospital, Owo; and the Owo General Hospital, as well as some private hospitals. However, the Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Jude Arogundade, insisted that over 38 worshippers were killed in the massacre.

Reacting to the video of the women calling on the god of iron to get justice for those killed in the massacre, Daddy Freeze, who supported the act, said Nigerians abandoned their African paganism to accept European paganism.
“When dem call bros J and he nor answer dem nko? We abandoned African paganism to adopt European pagan ideologies. Until we start telling ourselves the truth and take our security issues more seriously this won’t end. Christ message is love and that’s the first thing so glaringly missing in Nigeria.” He wrote.

Popular Nigerian comedian and activist, Mr Macaroni drops a new comedy video tagged “The Politicians Don’t Care”.
APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has quelled speculations of a rift between him and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo after paying him a surprise visit at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, June 9.
This comes after the duo contested for the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Ticket which Tinubu won with a landslide victory and amassed more votes than that of all the other candidates combined.
There were speculations that the primaries will create a rift between both politicians because some believed Osibanjo betrayed Tinubu by contesting against him despite being his “political benefaciary.”
However, the APC chieftain has laid those speculations to rest after he paid a visit to President Buhari and used the opportunity to see Osibanjo.

According to a source who spoke with Premium Times, Tinubu said he and Osinbajo are like blood brothers as they have come a long way together.

“We were just sitting around when the vice president was informed that Asiwaju has arrived.
Asiwaju said he is surprised that people assume the presidential contest will create a wedge between him and the vice president. He told us that they have come a long way and they are like blood brothers now.
He said what happened was just democracy in action and there was nothing wrong with it,” the source said.

Meanwhile, it’s actually safe to say that the relationship between Nigerian singer and music label boss, Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu is a cordial and healthy one given past events featuring the both of them.
The singer has never been one to shy away from professing his love and admiration to the mother of his children —all three of them— from time to time and technically, he’s one celebrity who rarely has baby mama issues.
His first baby mama, businesswoman, Sophia Momodu took to her page on Instagram recently to share the stunning look she donned to an Owambe and while many loved how gorgeous she looked, Davido said it was a reflection of his money on her.
A number of celebs took to the comment section of her post to adore her and gush over her look but her baby daddy, Davido said it’s his money that’s showing on her.
A Nigerian woman simply identified as Chinwe told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos State on Thursday, June 9 that her husband, Irinsanmi Ayeniberu, refers to her as a secondhand material.
NAN reports that the husband, a transporter in the state, had approached the court to grant him a divorce on grounds of incompatibility with his wife of four years, Chinwe.
Ayeniberu, in his petition, claimed that Chinwe, whom he married after his first wife’s death, was quarrelsome, disrespectful, and intolerant.
“My son’s wife, who was living with me, had to move out because of the way my wife quarreled with her. My two sons also moved out. “She doesn’t find it hard to hurl insults at them and fight them,” he said.
Chinwe, on her part, denied the allegations, claiming that her husband married her dubiously.

According to her, Ayeniberu married her knowing that she already had four children with her late husband.
“He never told me I won’t give birth for him. He married me knowing I had four children for my late husband”, she said.
“He promised to take care of me and my children, but they were all lies. I took in sometime in 2018 and gave birth to a boy who was healthy. Immediately my husband came to see that boy, he passed away.” she added.
Chinwe told the court that when she got pregnant again, her husband gave her abortion pills, claiming they were for dysentery.
“I bled for almost two weeks and lost that baby, he later told me that it was embarrassing for him to have a baby at old age. He said he only married me to be having sex with him, washing his clothes, cooking and caring for him, and I asked him what would be my gain in the marriage. He said he didn’t know but I should stick to what he told me”. She said.
The respondent also said there were attempts to poison her and make her to miscarry a pregnancy.
Speaking further, she claimed that her stepchildren, on several occasions, beat her with brooms and sticks and scattered her wares.
She alleged her husband wanted to divorce her over her refusal to go for family planning.
The case has been adjourned until June 28 for further hearing.

Georgina Onuoha has penned an open letter to her colleague, Yul Edochie on the lingering issue of his decision to go the polygamous route.
Yul Edochie recently tried to justify his decision (yet again) by averring that his blessings have doubled ever since he took a second wife.
He however admitted that he wronged his first wife, May, with the way he went about the whole process but God is the ultimate judge in the circumstance.
In the letter addressed to him, Georgina asked the actor to take stop with the hot takes and ‘rest’.
She said that he failed both traditionally and scripturally so he should quit with the incessant posts about polygamy.

The letter reads;
My dearest brother Yul @yuledochie I appreciate that you acknowledged you wronged your wife, May @mayyuledochie.
And I don’t recall anyone saying marrying a second wife is a crime. Our culture permits that, and some Christians take more than one wife.
There is a reason they say process and intent matter.
It’s one thing to impregnate another woman ( adultery ) while you are still married without discussing with your wife your desire to marry a second wife, which our traditions demand.
Since you are quoting our traditions on polygamy, have you forgotten there are rules for such engagements?
Most of us have parents who were born into polygamy. Who will tell you that their mothers brought the new wife home for their husbands, which is a sign of her giving her blessings to her husband.
I bet you know that is our culture and traditions. Taking a second wife because you impregnated her while still married is not noble; it is called adultery, and God punished most great men in the Bible you are quoting for such acts.
Marrying the same woman without the knowledge of your wife until she finds out on social media via a blog; is the worst kind of betrayal of trust. Eyin, there is nothing noble in what you did. You don’t force polygamy on people when they are not prepared for it. Give them an option. Not everyone has the grace to be a polygamist.
So both traditionally and scripturally, you failed.
Don’t justify your indiscretions with impunity by citing religion and tradition. On both counts, you failed. Abraham, our father in faith, got thumbs up from his wife Sarah to lay with Hagar, the slave girl.
God punished David when he slept with Bethsheba and killed their first fruit born out of that adultery.
So many examples in the Bible regarding adultery and its consequences.
What you did, did not glorify our culture and traditions because it was done with impunity and with total disregard for the humanity of your wife. I bet if the table were turned, you wouldn’t be singing this same song of getting more fame and her getting endorsement.
What it shows is that you have no respect for her and for yourself and kids. I hope you find peace and rest.
Zukwanike. Ozugo. Rest
A Nigerian man, who took to Facebook a couple of days back, to celebrate his wife, has been accused of biting off her nose in her father’s house.

The man identified as King Felix Nero and his wife, Queen Nero have been married for 5 years and have 3 children together but it is alleged that Felix Nero has been an abusive and unfaithful partner.
It was alleged that just last year, he had an affair with his wife’s cousin, one Ejiro Praise. At the time, the report made rounds on so many Warri blogs.

As a result of the alleged domestic violence and infidelity, Queen moved with her kids back to her parent’s house in Asaba, Delta State.
According to reports, Nero then pleaded with a lot of people, including social media influencers, to beg his wife to return to their home. He even took to his Facebook page on her birthday on June 3 and celebrated her by lavishing her with sweet words.

Queen Nero then reportedly promised friends who pleaded with her that she will return to her matrimonial home on Saturday, June 4, but her husband Felix Nero allegedly visited her on the same day, caused trouble in her father’s house and bit off her nose.

A graphic video shows Queen Nero crying after the attack.
“See wetin Felix do me o,” she’s heard saying in the video while showing her disfigured nose. Her kids are also heard crying in the background and calling for their “mummy”.

The video then caused outrage online and led people to out her husband. Felix then took to his Facebook to pen down a suicide note.
In his note, he asks the public to forgive him for everything and told his 3 kids that “even in death” he will still love them. He tells the public not to judge him as he alone knows the pain and depression he’s been suffering for years.

Netizens are now calling on his wife to put their differences aside and seek out her husband to prevent him from committing suicide.

Actor Yul Edochie has yet again addressed those dragging him dragging him for his decision to take a second Wife.
According to the popular Nollywood Actor and Politician, marrying two wives has brought him blessings and elevated his two wives.

In a post he shared on his Instagram page this evening, Yul stated that he wronged his first wife May with the way he went about getting married to Judy and that he has since apologized to her.
In his words;
”God works in mysterious ways.
Marrying a 2nd wife has brought me blessings and also elevated my two lovely wives.
Sometimes it takes the things we see as disappointments to happen for elevation to come.
It happened many times in the bible, just like the case of Joseph.
I’m a man after God’s heart.
I’m like King David in the bible.
I communicate with my God and He guides me everyday.
I wronged my wife May from the way I went about it, and I have apologized to her sincerely from the bottom of my heart, but in the eyes of God things are different.
God blesses differently.
His ways are not our ways.
Our destinies are different.
Don’t be deceived by the white man’s culture.
Same White people that condemn polygamy are encouraging men to marry their fellow men.
In the end judgement is for God.
Even white people don’t understand God fully.
Nobody does, actually. That’s why He remains God.
Many great men in the bible had one wife, many great men in the same bible also had more than one wife.
And if that happens to be your destiny God will elevate you and elevate all that concerns you through it.
My wife May just signed her first endorsement deal.
Something that never happened all these years. And this came from what many saw as a disappointment.
I have realized that God’s ways are different.
Many more deals will still come to her cos she’s a wonderful person.
So is my wife Judy.
She has also been elevated. Now widely known, her career is bigger with a whole lot going for her as well.
Let me not even talk about myself.
My stardom has tripled.
My name is being mentioned in places it never got to before.
My children are blessed.
Summary: The ways of God are different.
Our destinies are not the same.
You may not understand another man’s destiny and that’s because you’re not supposed to, except your own.
If God gives you more than one wife it will come with blessings and elevation.
Run your race and put God first in all you do.
He speaks to each of us differently.
Love and Peace to us all.”
