The before and after photos of a burn survivor barely six months apart have left social media users in awe.

The Twitter user identified as @Shuribby on the micro-blogging platform was involved in a fire incident on November 2, 2021, and suffered 2nd degree burns. She shared side-by-side photos of her face after the incident and her present look to show how much her skin has improved.

She suffered severe burns to her face, neck, and shoulders in November 2021, and in the most recent photo, taken on May 2nd, her skin has returned to normal, with no blemishes.

When tweeps asked if she underwent corrective surgery, she disclosed that she didn’t go under the knife and used honey, aloe vera, and other skin care products to restore her skin.

In other news, Nigerian singer and burn survivor, Kechi Okwuchi is grateful for the latest development she had recently. She took to her IG page some hours ago to share with her fans how she’s finally able to put on earrings which is something she’s wanted to do for a very long time.

According to her, she’s missed being able to do two things since the plane crash she survived some years back — putting on earrings and making braids — but recently, she was able to do one these and for this, she’s grateful.

Popular Instagram skit maker, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, otherwise known as Brain Jotter, has bought his mother a brand new car.

On Monday, May 2nd, the comedian revealed this on his official social media channels.

Sharing a heartwarming video of the moment he presented the car to his mum, Brain Jotter revealed this was her first car.

The comedian’s mother, who thought she was being pranked at first, was caught away by the automobile present and couldn’t hold back her emotions in the video. She embraced her son and thanked him for the automobile with a passionate embrace.

Lifeless body of young woman found dumped on the road in Jos

A young lady identified as Francisca Choji was discovered lifeless in Jos, the Plateau State capital recently.

The lifeless body of the lady said to be in her early 20s, was seen dumped at Rayfield Resort area of Jos South on Sunday night, May 1.

On her Facebook bio, the deceased described herself as a “dancer, model, singer, and actress“.

While details of her death are still quite foggy it was however gathered that the deceased was a resident of Cabon, Gada Biyu in Plateau State.

Francisca’s tragic incident is reported to have occurred some months after the murder of two young women, Plangnan Solomon and Jennifer Anthony, a 300 level student of the University of Jos, UNIJOS.

In the meanwhile, some of Francisca’s friends have taken to social media to mourn her. One Kenny Joy, wrote,

“If we had the courage to question God we will ask him just one word which is”why”but it is not in our place to do so, he knows all that, I still can’t live with this but then I have no choose, we miss and will always miss you rest on and let you cold body fight for your death if truly, your life was taken my man. A brother and sister who fell in love and had four children together have gone on with their call for incest laws to be revoked so their relationship can be legally recognized.

Patrick Syuebing was taken into a foster home in East Germany after he was attacked by their father decades ago. After more than 20 years, he reunited with his younger sister, Susan Karolewski.

Six months after re-discovering his biological family, Patrick, who was 23 at the time, and Susan, who is mentally disabled, began sharing a bedroom after their mother, Ana Marie, died.

Their illegal pairing has since produced four children, two of whom are severely disabled. In 2001, the couple began trying to change Germany’s laws that makes sex between siblings illegal. In 2012, they took their case to the Court of Human Rights.

At the time, Patrick was reported as saying,

“We do not feel guilty about what has happened between us. I became head of the family and I had to protect my sister.

“She is very sensitive but we helped each other during this very difficult period and eventually that relationship became physical. We didn’t even know we were doing anything wrong when we started sleeping together. We didn’t think about using a condom.

“We didn’t know it was illegal to sleep together.”

Patrick added that their mother would “not have approved” of the relationship between him and his sister, the Mirror reported.

Susan defended the relationship she has with her brother, saying,

“We didn’t know each other in childhood, it’s not the same for us. We fell in love as adults and our love is real. There is nothing we could do about it.

“We were both attracted to each other and then nature took over from us. It was that simple. What else could we do? We followed our instincts and our hearts.”

The couple have taken their case as far as the High Court, with Patrick serving time for breaking German incest laws. Patrick has subsequently undergone a vasectomy in a bid to change the minds of courts to allow him to live with his sister without the risk of further jail time.

Khloe, who was skinny when she participated in the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Naija show, disclosed that she spontaneously decided to undergo the plastic surgery.

“I made up my mind in less than two weeks to have surgery on my body and I got it done in less than two weeks. I used to think that I would never do it, I don’t even know if I want to do a procedure again because of the pain but it was worth it,” she said in a video shared on her Instagram story in October, 2021.

A Nigerian couple were slain on their way to their wedding in Imo state, turning what was supposed to be a joyous day into a tragic one.

According to viral reports, the couple, both military personnel, were attacked by unknown gunmen on the way to the venue for their wedding.

It was gathered that the groom , a warrant officer was compulsorily retired ahead of his wedding to the female junior officer.

A military source disclosed that the couple were beheaded and their private parts mutilated.

However, a man confessed to killing the soldiers and two others in a viral phone conversation. He claimed the soldiers had been killing innocent people and he had “eaten these ones” in revenge.

In other news, Mbionu Chioma Chikaodili, a 300 level Medical Rehabilitation student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, College of Health science, Okofia, Nnewi, Anambra, was killed after being hit by a stray bullet.

Details of the incident that led to her death are still foggy but it was gathered that the 300 level Medical Rehabilitaion student was hit by stray bullet fired by gunmen during an attack on security facilities in Nnewi on Sunday, October 3rd.

A source revealed that she was reportedly rushed to the University Teaching Hospital Nnewi but was allegedly not attended to as doctors are on strike. She subsequently bled to death at the gate.

The source said,

“She was rushed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital and there was no doctor or medical personnel on ground to treat her. She d*ed at the gate. We were told that the doctors were on strike. It is well with Nigeria.”

Photos of the three-storey building that collapsed in Ebute Metta area of Lagos state have been shared online.

The photos as seen on Google Photos shows the building standing at 31, Ibadan Street, Ebute Metta, before it collapsed on Sunday night, May 1, leaving many trapped.

The death toll has risen to eight as at the time of filing this report, while 23 persons have been rescued from the rubbles.

According to reports, the building was dilapidated and distressed before it eventually gave way.

Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Director General of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, said the building had been sealed for demolition due to it’s dilapidated state but the occupants refused to move.

in other news, over thirty Corp members serving in Delta state escaped being burnt to death in a fire outbreak that happened in a fuel station on Thursday, April 28th.

According to reports, the corpers who served in Warri were on their way to Asaba for their passing-out-parade (POP) when the coaster bus they boarded stopped by the gas station to get fuel.

While waiting to get fuel, the bus exploded and fire erupted from under the bus.

The students who were locked in the bus scampered for safety.

Three men who witnessed the incident quickly came to the rescue of the student.

Many of the corps members sustained serious injuries during the chaos. Thankfully no life was lost in the incident.

Nigerian Catholic priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, has advised people to not be intimidated by the excessive display of wealth they see on social media but rather be proud of their legitimate hustle.

The Malawi-based clergyman who gave this advice in a Facebook post noted that people do imaginary things to make money, so one should be careful of the blessings they tap into.

He urged people to take pride in their sincere and upright labour no matter how little the income might be.

In his words,

“The person you are envious of and tapping from her blessings because you saw her driving a Range Rover car might be sleeping with dogs to make money. The lady you are jealous of and asking God questions on why he is yet to bless you with estates and money might be a scammer like Ovaioza

A Nigerian man from Delta state, identified as Comrade Amos Ufuoma Asigri, has gotten married to a second wife, Hope Ogheneuzuazor Ogbokor, in Isoko South Local Government Area of the state.

The couple tied the nuptial knot over the weekend and their friends and family took to Facebook to share photos and videos from the wedding ceremony.

It was gathered that the grand wedding took place on Saturday, April 30, at Uyoyou community in Ada-Irri.

Amos reportedly got married to his first wife, Princess Edith, in 2018 before proceeding to take a second wife in 2022.

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has spoken up about her experience with an abusive boyfriend.

In an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the beautiful thespian revealed that her ex-boyfriend would frequently force his way with her and lock her up for days.

His justification, she claims, was that they were in a relationship and so it couldn’t be termed “rape.”

She, however, didn’t reveal the identity of the partner. The 36-year-old added that she had to fight her way out of the abusive relationship.

“I told him what he did was rape and he said but we were in a relationship. But was I ready, that was the question, did I say I was in the mood? I kept saying no, stop it, stop it, you pin me down and you’re doing whatever you wanted to do and you’re smiling saying don’t worry.

“And you’re kissing whilst I’m crying, that means you’re a rapist and I had to leave that relationship. I fought my way out of that relationship because he even locked me up in his house for days until my sister Sonia came to find me.

“I was scared, uncertain of what to do because this guy was huge and taller than me. He can raise you above the wall. And just imagine that it was every day. Every day, he wanted to do something. That is rape. You’re naïve. Who do you go and tell? Who would come and fight for you?

“But ladies you can report it now, go and report. If your husband is forcing you to do when you’re not in the mood it is rape and I tell these men that you cannot force a woman.” She said.

Former senator, Shehu Sani has shared his opinion on the trending video of some ladies allegedly sleeping with dogs for a reported sum of N1.5m.

Shehu Sani took to his page to write;

It’s immoral for Human Being to sleep with a Dog or Human Beings copying the ways of the dog while sleeping. They deserve serious punishment.

In related news, The Nigerian police force has revealed that the Nigerian lady in the viral video who claimed she was paid N1.1million for sleeping with a dog will be invited for questioning.

The police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this revelation in a chat with newsmen.

The said lady, identified as Veegodess, sparked outrage after a video where she admitted to sleeping with a dog for a pay of N1.1 million went viral.

“What is the big deal there? I only slept with a dog, I didn’t kill somebody. You, in your life, you have done worse and besides, have you seen N1.1million before?” She said in the video.

After being dragged to filth, she made a U-turn and revealed that everything she said in the video was ‘cruise’ and false.

The Nigerian police force has revealed that the Nigerian lady in the viral video who claimed she was paid N1.1million for sleeping with a dog will be invited for questioning.

The police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this revelation in a chat with newsmen.

However, the police PRO in a chat with newsmen asked the public to help the police with information on how to apprehend the ladies involved in the ”Unnatural offense.”

“I really want us to take necessary action on these ladies that are involved in Unnatural offences and post same online. We want to urge you to give us any useful information on how to get these babes. We need to fish them out please”. He said.

He added that whether or not the ladies were joking, they must be brought in for questioning.

In a tweet, Adejobi also pointed that sexual relations with an animal is a crime in Nigeria.

Big Brother Naija star, Maria Chike, recently took to her social media page to reveal that she will be turning 30 this year and it generated lots of buzz on the internet.

On Saturday, April 30, Maria shared some photos from her birthday shoot ahead of her 30th birthday on May 3.

I want my 30s to be as peaceful as heaven was described in the Bible.

I want to experience heaven on earth in my 30s. Less sadness and more peace, less noise and more quiet.

However some of her followers took to the comment section to say she is lying about her age because she was their senior in High School and they are well over 30. Maria would not let that slide as she took time to reply those doubting her age.

Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo has made a clarification after she was accused of taking sides with her colleague, Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin.

The actress ended up on the receiving end of criticism for complimenting Judy after Yul Edochie announced he had taken her as a second wife and that they have a son together.

Ogbodo reportedly commented on Judy’s Instagram post writing: “My girl”

In a new post she shared, Ogbodo claim she was only “catching cruise” with her earlier comment.

She wrote;

A Nigerian man, Arinze Uzoagu from Igboukwu, Anambra State who recently became a proud father of four, has taken to his social media page to pray for couples who are also waiting for their bundle of joy.

Mr Uzoagu, an MC, and his wife, Chinaza Blessing welcomed quadruplets, three girls and a boy, early April, 2022, after six years of waiting.

Here’s what he shared on facebook.

“For those couples waiting to have a child in their various homes. To my fellow men I will tell you this, I do wake up before by this time of the night sometimes. All bothered and thinking.”

“Well, I am awake tonight not bothered or thinking. Three out of my four children woke up at the same time. So I am awake for a different reason…..a good reason.

“I pray you be like me by this time next year. Nwanne your sleep will no longer be cut short because of worries. Your sleep will be cut short because you are a new father…playing the new fatherly role to your newborn. This is my prayer for you tonight”

Shortly after the amazing birth of his Quadruplets, here’s what he had written;

“I and my wife did our traditional marriage on the 30th of December, 2015. Our church wedding was exactly a year after, 30th December, 2016. At the span of this period, we have been to several hospitals around Nigeria seeking for JUST A CHILD TO CALL US DADDY AND MUMMY

“In our sojourn, we have had 2 failed IVFs and one failed IUI. When these three experiences didn’t kill us or break us or make us abandon our faith, it became apparent that nothing else can.

“But we never lost hope. We believed. We trusted and we obeyed. So when sometime in August the results said my wife was pregnant, our joy knew no bound. We asked God to lead us through and this God that I serve did not disappoint.

“For the records, in the course of these 9 months. My wife had no complications, no challenges and form of panicky situation. Not one whatsoever.

“So at some minutes past 7am this morning. I and my sister positioned at the corridor leading to the entrance of the hospital’s theater as my wife was wheeled in. My mum led as we sang the hymns for some minutes, until the unthinkable happened.

“One of the nurses emerged from the theater and asked ‘oga you are the husband right?’ I said yes. Congratulations he said. YOUR WIFE HAS JUST BEEN DELIVERED OF A SET OF QUADRUPLETS.

“I was dumbfounded. I am still dumbfounded. We asked for years just for a child to call our own. God said Arinze na Blessing I will give you 4.

“Never give up I say to you. God is still in the business of doing great things. He did it for us….HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU.”

On today’s episode of breakfast stories, a Nigerian man known as Tide has taken ton his social media page to reveal that his girlfriend asked for “break” on the first day of the new month of May.

According to the timestamp from the picture the young man shared, his girlfriend (now ex) sent him a message shortly after midnight that she wants to take a break because she needs him to focus on having a stable finance.

Vado as he is fondly referred said he is quitting the habit because of his kids and those who love him.

He also advised those still struggling with the addiction to try to stop because it is not a good thing to do.

“To celebrate my birthday, for the sake of my kids and those who really love me.
