The family was getting ready to go out in their car, but instead of taking the back seat while her mother sat next to her husband in the front, the lady took the front seat before her mother arrived.
On seeing her sitting next to her dad, the mother tried dragging her out of the seat, but her father intervened.
He asked his wife not to injure their daughter and asked her to just take the back seat.

A woman said to be a victim of domestic abuse has died after she was allegedly battered by her husband.
According to the Twitter user @biraphil, who relayed the story on the micro-blogging platform, the woman was rushed to the hospital after she was severely beaten by her husband, but unfortunately she didn’t survive.
He said he was in the hospital to see his mum when he ran into the husband wailing after he was informed of his wife’s passing.
He claimed he got to know of the cause of the woman’s death after the man’s sister stated that he refused to listen when he was repeatedly warned to stop beating his wife.
He said doctors disclosed that the woman died of internal bleeding in the skull.
“So I’m at the hospital right now and this lady just died. She died due to series of beatings by her husband. Guess what? He’s lying on the ground weeping profusely. His sister is here with him and she’s saying in Yoruba language

Nigerian activist, Comrade Israel Joe has advised married women who engage in extra-marital affairs to apply their sense and decency.
He gave this advise via his Facebook page on Monday, May 30, while disclosing that a married woman was blackmailed by her lover whom she sent her nude photos to.

An Abuja-based couple have narrated how family planning contraception failed them.
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Agbo, who live at Sabon-Tasha, Gwagwa, an Abuja suburb, used contraceptives to avoid having more children in addition to their five kids, but recently welcomed quadruplets.
The couple welcomed the quadruplets last Thursday, May 26, at a private clinic in Kubwa, Abuja.
Mr. Agbo stated that after having five children, he and his wife, Mercy, chose not to have any more. So his wife started family planning and was placed on contraceptives.
He revealed his wife had an implant contraception surgery at a local health center where they lived. They also supplemented with drugs from a pharmacy.
However, despite their efforts, the wife conceived and gave birth to four babies at once.
“But despite all these, she conceived and was confirmed to be carrying four babies after a scan. We then visited the Kubwa General Hospital where she had a second scan and the same thing was confirmed; even with the expected date of delivery next month.
“We had to rush back last Thursday as she started observing signs of delivery. She gave birth to the four babies without any operation.” Agbo told DailyTrust.
The chief medical consultant of the hospital, Dr Onogwu Joseph, on his part said, “I am not aware of the said use of contraception by the mother of the quadruplets. But I presume that if it had been properly used it should not have led to that.”
A church has reacted after a photo showing two people laying on each other on the church’s altar while a pastor and several church members put out their hands towards them, went viral and sparked outrage online.

“According to the Child’s Right Act, you can not deny the children the best education even if you’re quarreling with your wife. If I should as a judgment grant you a divorce, and if your wife is in Enugu and you stay in Lagos, why should I give the custody of a 10-year-old girl to you while her mother is alive?
The Supreme Court ruled that it is not the wealth of a father that the children of that age need, they need the care and attention of their biological mother.
The only reason the girl child should not be in the custody of the mother is if the mother is mentally derailed or the issue of infidelity is involved.
Assuming the girl starts her monthly period, you as a father do not know what to do. You will be scared of the blood. A female girl is delicate. Your own case is worse because an accusation has been leveled against you.”
The case was adjourned until June 23 for continuation of hearing
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state has finally broken silence days after he lost the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential primary.
The Governor addressed PDP supporters in Rivers state on Monday May 30, and he said that the primary witnessed betrayal, conspiracy, and people who cannot keep to agreement.
Wike alleged that some Southern Governors sabotaged his interest. He maintained that he contested in the primary “based on principle and agreement with all the southern governors and the leaders of the south that the presidency should go to the south”.
In his words;
“As far as I am concerned, there is nothing to worry about. I contested election based on principle and agreement with all the southern governors and the leaders of the south that the presidency should go to the south this period.
“We have done our own part and we never betrayed anybody, because it is not in our blood to betray. But it’s a shame to those people. Some of the governors from the south are the people they used to sabotage our interest. However, we have shown them that we are not like them. We have the capacity to do whatever is good for us.
“I don’t want to talk about some other people who cannot even win election in their own places. I’ve told them that this election, whoever emerges, I will support, and I am not going to go back.
“Yes, it may be painful to you, it may be painful to us, but we cannot abandon the party. And let me also say to those who do not understand, and who take Rivers state for a ride, now they have learnt their lesson. You need us. Forget about these people who have nothing to offer and who make noise up and down.
“I saw one governor who was dancing. Meanwhile, he did not win one delegate. I told Atiku Abubakar this afternoon when he came to see me that ‘some of the people following you here, they don’t have votes; they re empty.’ I have votes. I have something to offer. Do they have anything to offer?
“In 2019, I was the only governor from the south-south who never negotiated with the present government. They came and I said ‘no, I’m not going to be party to that.’ And that’s why APC never had 25 percent in his state. I said I was not going to sit down with them to negotiate.
“When you see people, they can’t confront me. They can’t face me. It’s merely envy. If somebody is bigger than you, somebody is bigger than you. I told them ‘look, it’s not to go back. If they give you vice-president, you need my support. So, you will come to me.’ PDP knows. Three states determine elections in Nigeria — Lagos, Kano and Rivers. Anybody who tries to say that Rivers state is nowhere, it’s at your own peril. If you want to bury yourself, let it be.
“So, for me, we have done what we are supposed to do. Leave history for those betrayers of their people. History will judge them. They will live and see how betrayers suffer. We have done our best and and the whole world has seen that we have done our best.”
Wike also averred that people have no right to complain about the south being referred to as the minority.
Annie Idibia, Nollywood actress and wife of singer 2Baba, and her management have debunked claims that she unfollowed him on Instagram.
It was earlier reported that the mother of two unfollowed 2Baba on the popular photo sharing platform, Instagram, amid his reunion with his baby mama, Pero, and their children in the US.
Fans of the couple had raised an alarm after they noticed that she was no longer following the singer on the platform but Annie’s management have said that several accounts have been unfollowed by her account without any explanation.
Annie’s management also averred that that the Nollywood Star and the award-winning singer “remain committed to their marriage and the care of their children.”
The statement reads in parts ;

A video of a car in transit carrying a heavy container has caused a huge stir online.
According to the motorist who recorded the video, the car was spotted somewhere in Delta state.
The automobile hauling the enormous container is seen traveling slowly in the viral video, with a red cloth attached to it to warn other road users.
The footage has left internet users mystified as to how the car was able to transport the container.

Professor Pat Utomi, a presidential candidate of Labour Party, has stepped down for his counterpart, Peter Obi, at the party’s primary election held in Asaba, Delta State.
Utomi announced that he was relinquishing his presidential aspiration for Peter Obi at the primaries on Monday, May 30.
Obi joined Labour Party barely a week ago after resigning from the People Democratic Party (PDP) where he was running against Atiku Abubakar and other presidential hopefuls.
Following Utomi’s declaration, the former two-time governor of Anambra State will be Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the forthcoming general election in 2023.
Meanwhile, Atiku Abubakar is the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
He revealed that, she not having a voter’s card will make her unable to support Nigerian politician, Peter Obi in the forthcoming elections and as such, he can’t be with someone “who doesn’t have the interest of their unborn children at heart”.

A 21-year-old Nigerian man, Aigbe Onyisi, has been arrested for stealing an air conditioner in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Onyisi, who’s said to be an ex-convict, was nabbed by men of the Anioma Security Watch Network while trying to make away with the air conditioner.
The suspect confessed to having connived with one Aboi to steal the AC but ran out of luck while his accomplice managed to escape, according to Ika newspaper.
The suspect pleaded for leniency, claiming that he went into crime because there was no help and that he learned barbing but didn’t have the capital to establish the business.
The Coordinator of Anioma Security Watch Network Ika zone, Cadet Nwanne Ajari, who confirmed the arrest, said the suspect has been terrorizing Odozi, Baleke, and Iregwa marketers.
Ajari stated that the suspect has been apprehended a number of times, and he has just been released from prison after having completed his punishment for previous crimes.
He revealed the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
In related news, operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command, have rearrested a suspect previously arrested for pickpocketing and stealing in 2017.
27-year-old Tunde Ajeigbe who embarked on a robbery mission with his accomplices Ekene and Bolenbe, was arrested after he jumped off a bike to snatch an android phone from a commercial bus passenger at 7UP area of the state.
The robbers were given a hot chase by residents of the community who also alerted the RRS operatives underneath Otedola bridge. Tunde was apprehended while two of his accomplices who abandoned their motorcycle escaped after also being given a hot chase by the police officers.
Confessing to the crime, the suspect recalled how he was arrested for a similar crime in 2017 by the police. He said in his confessional statement.
Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has advised parents to check on their sons schooling in Abuja, the country’s capital.
The mom-of-two took to her Instagram page on Monday, May 29, to dish this advise to parents with children schooling in boarding schools.
According to her, such parents should monitor their children and call them often to know how they are fairing in school.
She stated that this is pertinent to prevent another case of molestation or sexual assault.
The 36-year-old thespian wrote,
