A Nigerian house agent has ignited outrage online after revealing that he gambled away ₦500,000 intended for a client’s house rent.

In a viral TikTok video, the man shared his shocking story, confessing that instead of securing an apartment, he headed straight to a betting shop.

The agent explained that a client had entrusted him with the ₦500,000 to rent an apartment, but he squandered the money within a day.

“That very day, I put the money in my bag and went to a betting shop. They finished it sharp sharp,” he admitted, revealing his reckless decision-making.

Despite losing all the funds, the house agent did not seem remorseful.

Instead, he flaunted a fresh bet ticket, revealing that he had already placed another bet that morning.

“Even this morning, I’ve booked again. I’ve already played a game today. See my ticket,” he said, displaying the slip with pride.
