Nigerian hip hop disc jockey, Nonso Temisan Ajufo popularly known as DJ Big N, is celebrating his birthday today, April 13, and has bought himself some expensive gifts to mark his new age.

Nigerian Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, has shared how a lady ignored his counsel to marry her abusive boyfriend.

The priest shared the story in a lengthy Facebook post about domestic violence following the death of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who allegedly died as a result of incessant abuse by her husband.

According to him, the lady was in an abusive relationship and had opened up to him that her man beat and raped her whenever she refused to have sex with him.

He claimed he advised the lady not to associate with the man, only to discover their wedding invitation two months later.

“The Gospel artist Osinachi and the story about how she died, if it is anything to go by, is very painful to read. But you see bah, anything concerning husband and wife matter. . . I have removed my hands tey tey. We can blame the woman for not leaving the man. We can blame the church or bible for teaching that there is no divorce. We can even blame blame for making us to blame.

But ehn, in the final analysis, the only person that can answer correctly why she did not leave the man, is the one that unfortunately is now dead. Even ordinary boyfriend and girlfriend matter is complicated sometimes. I have once counseled a lady who ran to me complaining about how her boyfriend beats her. She even told me that her boyfriend will beat her and rape her if she refuse to give in to sex.

Meahn… You needed to see my reaction. I was madddd. I tried to reach the boyfriend, but I could not. I told the girl never to have anything to do with the boy. I even went as far as involving the police and I gave her all the necessary info and details that will help her. Two months later, I saw the wedding invitation of the girl to the same boy. I called her and asked her what is happening. . .she told me they are still together and that she loves him and bla bla bla.

I tried to see her one on one to be sure she is in her right senses. When I saw her, there was nothing suggesting that she wasn’t normal. I personally did not want the marriage to go on, then she became angry. She asked me what is my business in her life’s decision? Chaiiiiii… I just shifted one corner, you know that face that Oga Sabinus usually make at the end of his comedy videos bah? That was me. That question just reset my medulla oblo…something something. I don forget.

There was a woman that even told me that her husband use to beat her, but anytime she remembers how good he is in bed, she will just forget everything. People like me cannot relate biko. I am a celibate; nobody should ask me questions. Women are complicated, men are too. When I think of Will Smith and his Wife. . .even from afar, I just feel something is wrong with the two, but Will Smith is not a baby. I don’t know what they know about themselves, so no matter all my analysis, it will come down to mere analysis.

The general advice I give to couples is simple: the vow, “for better for worst” is not a death sentence. The “worst” in that vow does not include a situation where your life is threatened and you do nothing, if that is so, the church won’t have made provision for a temporary separation. The fact that there is something like separation in the church’s teaching is a sign that if your life is in danger, you are not obligated to physically live with that person.

You may consider your children as the reason why you should endure the abuse or you may consider what people will say and all that. . . But be alive first so that you can also see your children and even enjoy the gossip from people who will be jobless enough to be on your case. Another thing I am pushing for and will fight for is that before you get married, you must have a psychiatric assessment and psychological test report, this should be compulsory and the church should independently do this on the couples planning to marry.

Some people are not normal and it is necessary you know the mental health of the person you are going to raise your kids with. I am out. I just renewed my priestly vows yesterday. I don leave marriage for una. I cannot come and go and kill myself.”

A video showing the moment a mother held down her little baby girl in an effort to fix a wig on her head despite of the fact that the toddler was visibly in distress has angered many people on social media.

US-based Cameroonian professor, Sirry Alang has narrated how a longtime victim of domestic violence she offered to help turned her down because of her sexuality.

Prof. Alang, who’s a lesbian and has a Nigerian lover, took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share her experience with the woman on Tuesday, April 12

The 41-year-old University professor revealed that the woman declined her help because she doesn’t want her 8-year-old daughter to be exposed to a lesbian and her religion is against homosexuality.

Then said she knows about me. Someone had told her that she should connect with me. Then someone else told her about my “lifestyle”. Said she really needs help & if it was just her, she’ll consider my offer. Said she’s worried about “exposing” her kid to my “lifestyle.” That she wants to protect her child, hence she “cannot compromise like that.” At this point, she was no longer crying. I could hear the disgust in her voice. She said some folks from her church were also rallying to help her. I wanted to ask her where they were when her STRAIGHT CHRISTIAN husband was beating her. I wanted to ask what she implied about me when she says she has to protect her child from me. I wanted to say you could’ve protected your child from your abusive husband a long time ago but you failed that little girl.

I wanted to say many things. But I was just hurt. Hurt that a Black woman & child might end up in a shelter because of Christianity-driven homophobia. Hurt that in this year 2022, people still believe that we, gay people, are bad for kids. I wished her good luck & hung up. And for a minute, I thought it was a dream. A former employee of the Kardashian family, identified as Jessica DeFino, has opened up on her painful experience working with the billionaire family.

Jessica who worked as an assistant editor on the now-defunct Kardashian-Jenner official apps between 2015 and 2016, shared this in an explosive tell-all after a tweet of hers went viral.

In March 2022, Kim had given an infamous advice to women asking them to “get their fu*king ass up and work,” adding that “It seems like nobody wants to work these days” – an advice that didn’t go down well with a lot of people.

Taking to Twitter to react to Kim’s advice, Jessica disclosed that she couldn’t afford to buy gas while she was working on the Kardashian app, which was raking in millions of dollars at the time.

“I was an editor on the Kardashian apps in 2015 in LA.

The tweet garnered over 600,000 likes and Jessica has now shared more details about her working experience in a scathing new piece — titled “I Worked My Ass Off for the Kardashian-Jenner Apps. I Couldn’t Afford Gas” — for Vice.

According to her, she was paid $35,000 per year and her take home after tax was just enough to cover rent and utility bills.

Jessica wrote in VICE;

“When I read Kardashian’s original quote about women not working hard, I thought of the labor I put into launching the Kardashian Jenner Official Apps—days, nights, holidays, weekends, whenever and wherever I was needed.

“I wasn’t alone. I spoke to two former employees who worked on the apps and two former employees of KKW Beauty, Kim Kardashian’s cosmetics line, all of whom described an environment of overwork at the expense of their mental and sometimes physical health, as well as their career advancement.”

DeFino also recounted a time when she was reprimanded by the manager for writing freelance articles on the side to supplement her meagre income.

She also mentioned another time when she was confronted for applying for other job opportunities.

However, the publication asserted that the Kardashian sisters “were likely unaware of what the people behind their apps were paid.”

Man gets 2kg dumbbell stuck up his bum and doctors had to remove it with their hands

A shocking incident occurred at a hospital recently after doctors discovered an eight-inch dumbbell, weighing 2kg, inside a man’s rectum.

The man had gone to the Accident and Emergency department of the hospital with complains of having cramps and severe constipation.

However, he couldn’t stay calm enough for the medics to examine him so they opted to X-ray his abdomen and what they saw was shocking!

They saw a large object hanging in the 54-year-old man’s rectum, which was later discovered to be a dumbbell after it was extracted.

According to a report in the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports written by Dr Ana Elisa de Landa Moraes Teixeira Grossi and her team, a surgeon had to insert his hands into the man’s bum to remove it because tweezers couldn’t extract it.

Dr Ana wrote: “Despite the location of the object being considered high, manual transanal extraction was chosen, inserting the surgeon’s forearm with some difficulty, without post-extraction complications.”

However, they didn’t disclose how the gym equipment got stuck in the man’s rectum

18-year-old lady reportedly attacks father over s3x toy

An 18-year-old woman, Victoria Marson, has been arrested after she reportedly attacked her father over a sex toy.

Marson, from Florida, is said to have ordered a strap-on toy from Amazon and her father opened up the package.

On seeing the content of the package, Marson’s father confronted his daughter as he was surprised by what was inside, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

The father said his daughter became angry and started to kick him and punch him several times. She was then arrested on assault charges and released on bail.

The arrest report stated that Marson said to her father, “I’m going to kill you. I hate you.”

In other news, an American woman, simply identified as Brittany, has been hospitalized after getting an 8-inch long vibrator stuck in her butthole while masturbating.

Nkechi Blessing’s ex, Opeyemi Falegan reacts as UNICEF Nigeria takes down scam alert post against him

The United Nations Children’s Fund Nigeria, UNICEF, has withdrawn the scam alert post it published against Nkechi Blessing’s ex-lover, Opeyemi Falegan, on Friday April 8.

It was earlier reported that the body distanced itself from a fundraising Opeyemi started on his official Instagram page, and stated that the proceeds will go directly to UNICEF. Read here

Reacting, Falegan had stated that the fundraising was for UNICEF, not UNICEF Nigeria. He also shared a video of how the fundraising was linked to UNICEF’s verified Instagram page.

UNICEF Nigeria have now taken down the scam alert post against him and explained the terms and conditions for joint fundraising activities.

We are aware that funds can be raised for UNICEF with the Instagram feature that allows users to raise funds for an organization of their choice. However, no aspect of the fundraiser should include an unauthorized promotion, support, or fundraising for another organization.

In instances where this occurs, UNICEF can issue an alert through our office in the country where the unauthorized activity took place or where the organization operates in.

Note: We have taken down the post with the scam alert as the fundraising activity in question has been discontinued.

Reacting to this development, Falegan has criticized UNICEF Nigeria for not doing due diligence before labelling him a scammer.

He wrote,

“@unicef_nigeria You cannot take down the scam alert post made about me without proper procedure or due process , u knew u made a blunder , cos I never made a fundraising with u, I did with @unicef which was the main organ of @unicef for Ukrainians war victims which was allowed and acknowledged.

Also, it is so unfortunate that, major newspapers include @punchnewspapers @tribuneonlineng and major blogs could publish such malicious and damaging information that tagged me as a Scammer without investigating such information but rather rely on fabricated and shoddy information from uninformed @unicef_nigeria UNICEF_Nigeria. Which shows there is no proper synergy between the 2 organisations @unicef and @unicef_nigeria .

Biden was giving a speech in Menlo, Iowa on Tuesday April 12, when the poop of a bird landed on his jacket leading people to troll him for “talking s***” on Twitter.

A woman identified as Preeti Sharma has been arrested after a horrific video of her cruelly abusing her 9-month-old child went viral.

The woman who lives in Upper Kamila Purmandal, in J & K’s Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir, India, was seen in the disturbing video thrashing, slapping, and throwing the little girl on a bed.

The heart-wrenching video soon went viral on social media, which led to her arrest on Tuesday, April 12.

It was gathered that her husband, along with the village head of Samba district’s Bri Kamila area, Mukhtiyar Singh, who saw the video, immediately approached the police and a case was registered.

SSP Samba Abhishek Mahajan, who confirmed the development, said the woman has been arrested, adding that the child has been handed over to her husband.

An FIR has been filed against the woman for allegedly brutally beating her baby, SDPO Bari Brahmana Shivali Kotwal said.

Taiye Fajemisin, the first baby mama of JJC Skillz, Nigerian TV producer and rapper, has expressed her love for him and his wife, Funke Akindele, amid rumours of a marital crisis.

Taiye is the mother of mother of JJC’s 24-year-old daughter, Tamira Bello.

Following speculations that all is not well within their marriage, and that the couple are allegedly currently going through a rough patch in their relationship, Taiye took to the comment section of JJC’s latest Instagram post to send her love and prayers to him and his wife.

While speculations were being made, JJC’s son, Beni, via his official TikTok account, dropped a comment on a post talking about his stepmother, Funke.

According to Beni, he lived with her for 2 years and in that time, “the house was a horror site”.

He went on to add: “She’s not what you all think she is.”

Neighbours interfere as man beats his wife, leaving her and their infant child bleeding (Video)

A rather disturbing video that’s started serving rounds on social media shows how neighbours had to intervene as a woman and her infant child were being battered by her abusive husband.

In the video, the woman who suffered bruises on her face was getting beaten by her husband when neighbours arrived and dragged the child and the woman out of the house.

The woman and her child can be seen bleeding from the face the baby, who looks less than a year old, appeared traumatized by the entire incident.

In related news, a young woman has lost her life after she was allegedly poisoned and her friends are accusing her husband and his mother of committing the act.

The young lady identified as Yetunde Balogun, reportedly converted from Christianity to Islam so as to marry her husband, who is a Muslim. The union gave them two daughters.

Late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu denies abusing her

Widower of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, Peter Nwachukwu has denied the reports of abusing her while she was alive.

Osinachi died on Friday, April 8th after she was allegedly in a coma for five days prior to her death. Her family members, children, and friends of the deceased who was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Headquarters, Abuja, all alleged that her husband subjected her to domestic violence.

Nwachukwu was apprehended on Sunday, April 10 by the FCT police command on grounds of suspected culpable homicide.

Speaking from police custody, Nwachukwu stated that his late wife had been battling an illness since November last year. According to him, he first took her to the Federal Medical Center (FMC), then later to Gwagwalada General hospital, and then to National hospital, where she died. He however did not reveal the nature of her illness.

Nwachukwu who is now in the custody of the State Criminal Investigations Department SCID, was led in handcuffs and taken to their matrimonial home to provide evidence of the hospitals he claimed to have taken his deceased wife to for treatment.

An autopsy is to be carried out on late Osinachi’s body today April 13 to determine the cause of her death.

The popular disc jockey met the 18-year-old girl while at a shoot recently and got into a conversation with her, where she disclosed that she is not in school because she lost her dad.

According to the teenager, she is focused on working for now because she doesn’t have funds to go to school, although she would like to study Hospitality.
