In what can be considered a “brave” move to start a new chapter with the love of his life, a Nigerian man defied the odds of infamous Nigerian road users on a quite busy road, just so he could pop the question to his partner.
A gentleman seized the opportunity of the stop sign of a traffic light on a busy road in Ibadan, Oyo state as he felt the seconds required to make drivers halt, was enough for him to ask his partner to spend the rest of her life with him.
A video that captures the adorable moment is stealthily going viral on social media and in it, the young man and his partner are seen crossing the road and halfway to the other side, the gentleman pulls back his partner and goes down on one knee just so he could ask her to marry him.
This he did while vehicles were halted and they could clearly see the drama going on in front of them — judging from the video, the lady in spur of the moment was also able to give her response just before the traffic light went green and as such, the couple are ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
