Josh2funny and his Ethiopian spouse, Bina Nayee, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Koyi, Lagos in December 2020.
A while ago, the comedian narrated how he battled with an undisclosed ailment for 11 years.
Taking to his official Instagram page, the skit maker thanked God for a successful surgery and quick recovery.
Josh2funny noted that for 11 years he suffered excruciating pain as a result of the ailment.
Sharing a video of himself on the hospital bed, Josh2funny expressed gratitude to the doctors for their efforts. He also thanked his family and his wife for their unwavering support.
“This is my testimony, been suffering this pain for 11years helplessly, long story short thank God for a successful surgery and quick recovery, God bless all the Doctors that did their best and my family that stood beside me especially @binataste for the confidence and encouragement, Sometimes we don’t know what people go through, we need to Dey check on people and if you are sick here God will surely heal you Amen.” He wrote.

“Some people are bent on destabilizing Nigeria” – President Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari has warned that a group of Nigerians is out to destabilise the country.
The president who stated this at an Iftar dinner with governors, ministers, and heads of agencies on Tuesday night, April 19, urged all Nigerians to rise up and resist them.
He maintained that the country will succeed despite present security concerns. He went on to say that he had benefited from free, fair, and credible elections, and that the adoption of technology and the Permanent Voters Card would make it impossible for anybody in the nation to claim millions of votes again.

Two thieves mysteriously fall asleep after stealing several items from elderly woman’s house (Photos/Video)
In a rather strange turn out of events, two thieves mysteriously fell asleep after they broke into an elderly woman’s house in Hammanskraal, Pretoria, South Africa.
According to reports, the criminals broke into the woman’s house last Thursday April 14, and stole a plasma television, a microwave, shoes, and a couple of other things out of the house.
However, getting to the door that leads out of the compound, they mysteriously dozed off.

In other news, an angry mob attacked a suspected kidnapper in Idi-Ori, Abeokuta North LGA of Ogun State, when one of his purported victims recognized him.
The young guy was reportedly wandering around the neighbourhood on Monday, April 18, when someone claiming to be his victim saw him and said that he had paid ransom to the suspect and others.
According to a witness who identified herself simply as Olubukola, the youths descended on the suspect and beat him to pulp.
“They tied his hands and legs. They beat him and gave him a bloody nose. He would have been lynched if not for the arrival of the police. At first, the youths did not want to release him to the police. They said they didn’t trust the police. Their fear was that he might be released on bail. They insisted that they’re very sure he was a kidnapper.” The witness told DailyTrust.
“The Lord saw fit to take him out of his misery” — Woman says after car thief who beat her up, died after crashing her stolen car
A Texas grandma, identified as Shirlene Hernandez, has reacted to the death of a carjacker who savagely beat her up then stole her car.
The 72-year-old woman had stopped at a petrol station to buy a drink in San Antonio, Texas, when the car thief attacked her and forcefully collected her car keys, and slammed her face with the car door.
People at the gas station tried to intervene and stop the assailant but he managed to drive off with the stolen car.
Following the incident, police reported that the carjacker had a terrible accident while driving off on the nearby interstate and died on the spot.
Reacting to news of his death in an interview with a local news outlet, WCAX3, Shirlene said she doesn’t believe he died because of “Karma” as she doesn’t believe it exists.
She however opined that he passed away in such a tragic way because God saw it fit to take him out of his misery.

“There’s a lot of people who would say what goes around comes around, karma. I did not think that.
“The only thing I got [was] really sad because he had died. Now granted… he had hurt me, but the Lord saw fit to take him out of his misery.”
She added that she was thankful that people stepped in to help her at the petrol station and added, “I just hope that if this situation happens to anybody else, that somebody will step forward, leap forward, run forward, whatever and help the person that it’s happening to.”

“I told her not to return to that house but she refused” — Sister of Yetunde Balogun refutes claims that she committed suicide
Pelumi Balogun, the sister of the young lady identified as Yetunde Balogun whose husband’s family claimed committed suicide in Ilorin, Kwara State, has spoken up.
It can be recalled that the mother of two who was supposed to turn 31 on Easter Monday, was pronounced dead at the general hospital, Ilorin, on Monday April 11.
The cause of her death is still a mystery and a post mortem test will be conducted to ascertain the real cause of her sudden demise.
While her husband’s family claim she ingested Sniper after having an argument with her husband over his plan to marry a second wife, another report claim she was killed by her husband and her mother-in-law for being a Christian.
Speaking on the issue with Daily Trust, the grieving sister of the deceased refuted claims that her sister killed herself, and accused her husband’s family of hiding something.

“This is an injustice, because my sister can never kill herself. This is really painful for my family, and we believe they are hiding something from us. But we will fight it to the end,” she lamented.
“When my younger sister, Deborah, got to Yetunde’s house, she met a lot of people and was told that our sister was dead. Till now, they haven’t bothered to call us to inform us of the incident.”
“We were supposed to celebrate her birthday last Monday and not mourning her. I had told her not to return to that house but she refused. She went and didn’t return alive.

Although Julius Agwu’s colleague, Bovi, quickly debunked the reports at the time, his presence at Rita Dominic’s wedding in Imo state yesterday, April 19, further confirmed that reports about his ill health are false.

“Beating children has never led to discipline. If beatings worked, Africa will have the most well-behaved adults” – Reno Omokri
Former presidential aide and author, Reno Omokri has weighed into the trending conversation about if parents should beat their children as a corrective and disciplinary measure.
Reno took to his official Instagram page to share his opinion as he disagreed with the school of thought that beating children is a good way of instilling discipline.
According to him, if beating children is indeed good, Africa will have the most well-behaved adults by reason of the disciplinary measures meted on children by their African parents
He went on to proffer another way parents can correct and discipline their children.
His words,
“Beating children has never led to discipline. But it always leads to fear. And Scripture says ‘perfect love casts out fear’-1 John 4:18. Consult child psychologists about this. They will tell you beating either hardens children or makes them timid. Many children who bed wet, were beaten. And bed wetting and animal cruelty are linked to a higher likelihood of adult criminality. It is called the Macdonald triad. If you want your children to turn out well, punish them when they misbehave by temporarily depriving them of things you know they want, and reward them when they behave. If you regularly reward children for good behaviour, they will hardly display bad behaviour, because they become addicted to the rewards they get when they behave well. It is like you. You do not go to work out of fear. You go because you anticipate a reward-salary. I have read Scripture in the original language and ‘spare the rod and spoil the child’-Proverbs 13:24 is a proverb. It is not meant to be taken literally! You did not turn out well because your parents beat you. How many beatings did Elon Musk parents give him?”

Nigerian clergyman, David Ibiyeomie, has asked parents to wait till their children are in university before purchasing smart phones for them.
The founder of Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt, stated this during a recent sermon in his church. According to him, phones expose these young ones to a lot of vices, so it’s important to protect them from these vices until they are old enough.
Instead of buying phones for their children, he suggested that parents should allow them to use their phones while being monitored, or that they get a land line and install it in the house.
“Don’t buy phone for any child who has not gone to the university. It may sound awkward because you’re civilized, but don’t do it… Don’t buy phone its not civilization. phones and tablets many things pop up… Let them use your phone, or buy land line and put in your parlor”, he said.

In a viral video, the man is seen angrily retrieving the wig and footwear he bought for her.
The said lady was in the company of a man and another lady at a restaurant when her boyfriend stormed the venue and confronted her, demanding to know why she was there without his knowledge.
“Please stop embarrassing us,” the woman told the man, as he accosted her.
This angered him and he bent to grab the woman’s slippers and removed her wig.
“What is this? What is the meaning of this?” the woman being confronted asked as the man tried to pull her slippers.

K!dnapped DELSU lecturer passes away barely 24 hours after regaining freedom
A lecturer at Delta State University (DELSU), Prof Ovaborhene Idamoyibo, has reportedly died, barely 24 hours ater he was freed by his abductors.
The Professor, who was the Head of Music Department, was abducted on April 9, at Eku of the state, while on his way back to Abraka after a family meeting.
His kidn@ppers had demanded a N50million ransom from his wife, but sources claimed the sum of N3million was eventually paid to his abductors.
According to Nigerian Tribune, Idamoyibo was released on Sunday night after the abductors were said to have collected N3 million as ransom.
He was reportedly dumped unconscious on a lonely bridge in Abraka, where some passersby stumbled on him and rushed him to the hospital. He was, however, pronounced dead on arrival.

“I slept with my 10-yr-old daughter for money rituals” — 27-year-old Father confesses
A man identified as Adeniyi Adeleke, has been arrested by the police in Ondo State, for having carnal knowledge with his 10-year-old daughter.
Upon interrogation, Adeleke allegedly said he had carnal knowledge of his 10-year-old daughter because he wanted to use her for money ritual.
According to the police, the 27-year-old was apprehended On April 16, 2022 following a report lodged by one Bosede Alo at the Idoani Division.
Bosede reported that in March 2022, the suspect called the victim to his room and forcefully have carnal knowledge with her.
The command’s spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, in a statement on Tuesday, April 19 said, On receipt of the information, Detectives swung into action and arrested the suspect, upon interrogation he confessed to having committed the crime that he wanted to use her for money ritual.

Nigerian singer, Jodie has dropped a message to people who usually refer to her as being a one-hit wonder.
The Kuchi Kuchi singer, on her official Instagram page, shared screenshots of people talking about the impact her song had on them during their pregnancy after media personality, Toolz asked people to share a song that is strongly linked to a happy or sad memory.
Reacting to the fact that some people mentioned her classic hit song, Jodie said though some people call her a one-hit wonder, she says it’s still too early to make that conclusion about her.

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing slammed an Instagram user who mentioned her as one actress who used to publicize their marriage.
The Instagram user provoked the actress after they left a comment where they advised newly wed Rita Dominic not to publicise her marriage like “Korra” and “Nkechi Blessing” did.
Nkechi then responded to the user, slamming them for saying that she was ever married. Her response comes after news got rife that her and her ex, Opeyemi David Falegan split.

Popular Nigerian Instagram comedian, Amarachi Amusi, known better as Ashmusy, took to her page to share a screenshot of the message she got from her mother after she pierced her nose.
The well known skit maker had recently taken to her official IG page to share a video showing the moment she punctured her nose just so she can rock a nose ring.
Not long after, the comedian’s mom who apparently saw her video expressed her displeasure and disappointment over what her daughter did to herself.
She shared a screenshot of their chat on her IG stories and as can be seen from their chats, her mom featured BBN’s Angel in their conversation.
Her mom shared that she feels the pain and shame of her daughter turning to the reality star.
