The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended the police officer in a viral photo smoking weed at the Ijora area of the State.
In a statement which was released by DSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the name of the erring officer was given as ASP Babatunde Adebayo who is serving at Shogunle Divison of the command.
According to Hundeyin, the state Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed the immediate commencement of appropriate disciplinary measures commensurate with his rank.
He also added that the police boss has equally warned officers and men of the Command to stay clear of all unprofessional and unethical conduct as any officer found guilty of these acts will be severely sanctioned.

The family members of late gospel music star, Osinachi Nwachukwu have reportedly just discovered that her husband was previously married before he met and married the late singer.
According to a report by Vanguard, Nwachukwu is believed to have gotten married to the woman in a church but hid the union from Osinachi and her family.
The said romance, which started before Nwachukwu sought the hand of late Osinachi in marriage, is said to have gone south after the woman bore him a child. These facts came to light when one of the children of the deceased gospel star found an old photo album hidden in his dad’s room.
The child, whose name is withheld for obvious reasons, stated that their mother had suspicions that their father was having a secret affair but could not lay her hands on any concrete evidence.
Sharing how he discovered the photo album which exposed Mr. Nwachukwu’s secret, the child said,
“One day, my father was away and forgot to lock up his room. So, I entered and a voice within told me to explore the room. Then, I saw the album and out of curiosity, I opened it and saw daddy’s old photographs. From the photos, I could see that my daddy lived a wayward life.
So, I closed the album and kept it where daddy hid it. I couldn’t tell mummy or anyone because I was very afraid that daddy will kill me if he found out that I knew about the photos. Mummy once tried to search for things like this (album) in daddy’s room, but could not find anything.”
According to the report, when the child brought out the hidden secret album for the world to see, the already distraught relatives of the late gospel singer were shocked to know that Mr. Peter Nwachukwu, was hitherto married to another woman in a church long before coming for Osinachi’s hand in marriage about 10 years ago.
Osinachi’s family revealed that they never knew of his previous marriage.
“We never knew Nwachukwu was previously married to another woman. If ever we knew about it prior to now, we may not have allowed Osinachi to marry him. Osinachi must have been through a lot of pain which she, unfortunately, kept away from us.”
Mr Nwachukwu is currently in police custody, while a post-mortem examination on Late Osinachi’s body will be carried out at the National Hospital, Abuja on Wednesday, April 13, to ascertain the cause of her death.

In a video serving rounds online, the lady was dancing to a trending song ‘Warisi’ in the same room the couple were making love, when she took her phone and turned the camera towards the couple.

Nicole, during a recent episode of the Sip Or Spill Podcast with her friend, Lelo, explained that she believes that men who have a 9-5 job fall under the category of “broke men”.
Lelo opined that classifying a broke man is subjective, so her definition of a broke man may differ from Niclole’s, and Nicole quickly responded, “A broke guy is someone doing a 9-5.”
She went on to say that a man who gets up at 5 a.m. every day to prepare for work and ends up making 12 Rands per month is broke and she cannot date such a man.
Late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s mother and her twin have narrated their horrible experiences with her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, in a recent chat with BBC Igbo.
The singer’s mother disclosed that she didn’t see her grandchildren for 8 years and Peter didn’t allow her come for Omugwo to take care of her daughter and her children when they were born.
The grieving mother also revealed that Peter who claimed to be a Pastor, alienated the singer from her family and didn’t allow them to visit their home, until a pastor intervened. She disclosed that there was a time Peter sent her out of the house when she was sick.
She further disclosed that Osinachi once left her matrimonial home for over a year due to her husband’s maltreatment, and only returned after he came with Pastors to beg her.
She also claimed that she advised Osinachi times without number to leave the marriage, but she refused, insisting that the Bible is against divorce.
Speaking further, The distraught mother recounted a time when Peter threatened that Osinachi would only leave the marriage in death and sadly, that was what truly happened.
Osinachi’s sisters including her twin, also narrated their horrible experiences with Peter and how he pretended to be a good person before he married their sister.
They claimed that Peter maltreated Osinachi during her four pregnancies, and corroborated their mother’s claim that he didn’t allow her do Omugwo for her daughter’s children.
Speaking in the interview, Osinachi’s twin said her sister was in severe agony when she sang her hit song “Ekwueme”, which explains why she was crying in the ministration video that went viral online.
She also claimed that Peter threatened to separate them despite the fact that they were twin, and succeeded in doing that.
They further disclosed that Peter was unemployed and extorted their sister repeatedly when she was paid to do a song ministration.

A Nigerian man, identified as Taofeek Gbolagade, has been declared wanted by security officials after he was captured assaulting his pregnant wife in Ibadan.
The heart-wrenching incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, April 11, at their home located in Ogbere Housing estate, Ibadan, Oyo State, and a video of the incident has been shared online.
It was gathered that Taofeek, a Muslim, beat his wife to pulp over Sahur – a meal eaten in the morning before the day’s fasting begins.
An eyewitness speaking on the incident said,
“This man always beats his wife over any little misunderstanding they have. I was able to record today’s event. He’s a Muslim so I think they had an argument over Sahur.
This man didn’t mind that she was pregnant with his second child and started punching on her. She wailed for hours before she was able to flee to her parent’s house. Meanwhile, Taofeek has fled his house after being declared wanted by security personnel.”

A 16-year-old boy, identified as Deshant Adhikari, has become an online sensation due to a 70cm long hairy tail growing from his body.
The teenager from Nepal, Asia, has left many stunned over the abnormal long tail growing from his coccyx, the bottom of the vertebral column, and has been dubbed a reincarnation of a god.
His parents first discovered the hairy appendage few days after his birth and took him to hospitals both home and abroad to seek help and possibly, treat the abnormal phenomenon but all to no avail.
Deshant said he used to hide his long tail from public glare because he was ashamed and embarrassed by it, but he has grown to accept it.
A local priest also allayed their fears and made them see the tail in a different light as he suggested that Deshant was the reincarnation of a god – the Monkey God.

The children of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, have recounted how their father allegedly maltreated their mother while she was alive.

A serving corps member identified as Olaleye Bukola died in a ghastly car accident a few days ago.
It was gathered that late Bukola who was deployed to Imo state for her one year mandatory youth service, died in a fatal motor accident on her way to Kwara state on relocation after orientation. The driver lost control of the vehicle when they had almost gotten to Ilorin.
Family, friends, and colleagues of the young lady have taken to sc=social media to mourn her demise.
The Oyo State Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Mrs. Grace Ogbuogebe, on Monday, April 11, paid a condolence visit to the family of the corps member.
Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe, who represented the NYSC Director-General, Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim, described the demise of the corps member as a great loss not only to the family but also to the NYSC.
This comes after five University of Uyo (UNIUYO) graduates reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident on their way to the NYSC orientation camp in Katsina.
The prospective corps members were on their to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC orientation camp in Katsina state when their car reportedly tumbled in Abuja. While five of them died on the spot, others were severely injured and rushed to the hospital.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Miracle Asuquo, Stella Ekikor and Victor Akpan.
Reality TV star, Khafi Kareem, has disclosed that she is unfazed by her husband, Gedoni’s new look and would stick by him whether he has beards or not.
This is coming after Gedoni took fans by surprise on Monday, April 11, after he shaved off his signature beards for the first time in 17 years leaving him with a clean shaven, unrecognizable look.
Taking to his Instagram page to share photos of his new look, the reality show star and entrepreneur wrote, “This is not my real face oo” 😊😊 Caption is auto-generated. 🌚 First clean shave after 17years or more.”
Reacting to her hubby’s look, Khafi in a video shared on her verified Instagram page, stated that Gedoni is her man and she would stick by him regardless of his clean shaven look.
The mum of one wrote, “Though beard or no beard! That’s my man and I’ma stick by him 😄”
Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, has berated Pastor Becky Enenche over a tweet that appeared to condemn divorce.
In the tweet, the Co-Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) advised single men and women to “shine their eyes” before walking down the aisle. According to her, it’s important to be sure of who one is getting married to because divorce is not an option after marriage.
She further stated that divorce is not an option at all as it has an adverse effect on the children and can affect them for the rest of their lives. She opined that the majority of wayward children in society today are products of divorced homes.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Georgina Onuoha, who had an entirely different option, tackled the clergywoman’s stance on divorce. Onuoha noted that views like this are the reason most men and women remain in abusive marriages and relationships.
