Nigerian comedian, I Go Save, has replied to talent manager, Ubi Franklin, after the latter vowed that henceforth anyone who makes a joke about him and his kids will get the Will Smith treatment.
Shortly after the video of American actor Will Smith slapping Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkette, at the Oscars went viral, Ubi took to his Instagram page to call out comedian Bovi for a joke about him and his kids while hosting the Headies in 2021.
Reacting, the comedian, I Go Save, took sides with his colleague, Bovi. He noted that some celebrities have seized the Will Smith incident to trend.
Referring to Ubi’s comment about a joke Bovi made about him a year ago, I Go Save, who emphasized that comedy is to correct social vices, said anyone who gets a girl pregnant, abandons her, and does not pay child support must be used as content for jokes.

Maureen Esisi a.k.a Red Vigor, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu, has replied a follower who claimed she’s still in love with her ex-husband.
She had taken to her Instagram page to state that true growth happens when one’s ex-partner is no longer their type. However the follower asserted that Maureen is seemingly still in love with Blossom due to her post about ex-partners.
“True Growth is when your Ex isn’t even your type anymore.
Let that sink in,” Maureen captioned her post.
In response, the follower wrote, “This shows u still love Blossom because you keep on bringing up your past. Move on my sister.”
Maureen didn’t take the comment lying down as she lambasted the follower for thinking she was referring to Blossom. She added that the follower is wrong to think she hasn’t dated or had sex with other men since her marriage crashed.

Former Zamfara Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Wakkala shot in Abuja-Kaduna train attack
A former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Wakkala, sustained gunshot injuries in Monday’s train attack by terrorists along Kaduna-Abuja.
An aide to the former Deputy Governor, who confirmed the report, told Channels Television that Wakkala who was returning from the APC National Convention, was shot during the gun battle between the terrorists and the military.
Yusuf Idris, the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, said the ex-Deputy Governor was initially abducted by the terrorists during the attack and was successfully rescued by the combined forces of DSS and Military.
In his words;
“He was initially abducted but was rescued by the DSS and military, it was during the process he sustain gunshot injury in the leg. He is very okay now, he is receiving treatment at the hospital in Kaduna state.”.

A Nigerian lady has expressed so much anger at a particular set of people, as she made a video and shared it online… the video has of course, caused a stir on social media.
The young lady in the video, fumed at younger brides who automatically become swollen-headed after they get married and fail to show respect to people much older than them because of their new status.
At the start of the video, she says she normally wouldn’t make a video like that but she felt the need to address those “young girls” who can’t at the very least say “Hi” to the people they once referred to as “Aunties” before they got married.
She then goes on to say that regardless of their new status, whether they get married first or even bear a child before them their elder is still their elder and as such, they deserve every respect that’s due them.

APC youth leader, Muhammad Amin Mahmood, has debunked rumours making rounds online that he was killed in the terrorist attack on a train heading to Kaduna on Monday, March 28.
A media house had taken to Twitter to announce the news of his alleged death shortly after the tragic incident that claimed the life of a young and promising medical doctor identified as Chinelo.

Muhammad, the North West Zonal Youth Leader aspirant at the just concluded APC convention, has now released a statement to debunk the report.
According to the 23-year-old Kaduna native, he was only shot in the thigh and is currently receiving treatment at the 44 Military Hospital.
He wrote on Facebook,
“Assalamu Alaikum. Special gratitude goes to Almighty Allah. This is to debunk media reports that I was shot dead. I only sustained an injury from a bullet shot on my thigh. I am presently receiving treatment at a medical facility. I sincerely appreciate those that prayed and sent in their words of consolation. Thank you”

Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, dragged over ‘insensitive’ tweet after people were killed on board an Abuja-Kaduna train
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has come under fire on the popular microblogging platform, Twitter, for an “insensitive” tweet he shared after the attack on an Abuja-Kaduna train.
Unknown Gunmen attacked a Kaduna-bound training carrying hundred of passengers on Monday Evening. The train reportedly left Abuja at about 6 P.M and it was attacked between Katari and Rijana.
Presidential aide, Bashir, did not release any tweets to address the death and kidnapping of passengers on the train. Instead, he tweeted about a dialogue that Buhari will be attending today.
This angered many Nigerians who took to the platform to call him out for ignoring the pressing issue to advertise a program where the president is the special guest of honor.
Reacting a Twitter user @kevinbrunic wrote, “The bomb blast and kidnapping on Abuja Kaduna train is more important than anything right now to us Nigerians.”

National Football League (NFL) free agent, Antonio Brown, has threatened to expose a model if she doesn’t pay back the sum of $5,000 she ‘owes’ him.
Brown took to his official Instagram page to share a picture of himself in bed with her and warned her to stop “playing with him” if she doesn’t want to be exposed.
In the picture, the woman covered half of her face with the duvet but he tagged an Instagram handle belonging to a model and music producer, Cydney Christine, believed to be the lady.
He then shared his conversation with her where she was seemingly begging him not to expose her and promised to pay back her debt. However, Brown didn’t seem satisfied with her promise and continued threatening her.
Shortly after, Christine took to her Instagram page to share a cryptic post where she said she ‘can’t control the past’ and needs to ‘do better next time.’
It’s unclear what Brown has on her but he has been entangled in different controversies in the past three years including sexual and physical assault allegations, and physically manhandling a 22-month-old baby.

“Nigerian doctor killed in Abuja-Kaduna train attack had resigned last month and was scheduled to relocate this Friday” – Friend claims
Friends, family and social media users have continued to mourn the death of the young Nigerian doctor, Chinelo, who died from injuries sustained during the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday night.
A friend of the deceased, Steph Adamu, revealed that Chinelo, who worked at St. Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, resigned last month and was scheduled to leave this country this Friday.
“Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???” Her friend tweeted.
Chinelo had tweeted during the attack, on Monday night, March 28 saying she had been shot and asked Nigerians to pray for her.
“I’m on the train. I have been shot. Please pray for me.” She wrote.
Sadly, a colleague, Dr Michael Ajidahun, shared the news of her death this morning, March 29.

The BBNaija season 4 winner is currently sick and has been nursing her illness at home for some days.
To show his love and care for her, Mercy’s mystery bae gave her an envelope containing bundles of 100 dollar notes to wish her quick recovery, and wrote a handwritten note on it to cheer her up.
It reads, “Don’t be sad honey. Let my love heal your pain. Get well soon”
The 28-year-old reality star shared a video of the envelope and averred that she is feeling better already.

An abroad-based Nigerian man has taken to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share the beautiful love story of his friends he linked together.
According to @MayorKingz, his male bestfriend spotted the lady who happens to his friend and co-worker, on his Instastories in 2018 and indicated interest in getting to know her.
He shared screenshots of his buddy asking him to link him up with her, and narrated how they eventually met physically in 2019 courtesy of him.
Fast forward to 2022, the duo have gotten married.
@MayorKingz couldn’t keep calm after the wedding and took to Twitter to express excitement and question if he did a great job.

A Nigerian medical doctor, Chinelo, took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, last night to ask Nigerians to pray for her after she sustained gunshot injuries during the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train.
The young lady, who is said to have been scheduled to leave Nigeria for the UK later this week, tweeted that she was on the train and had been shot.
Her tweet received tons of reactions from Twitter users, with many accusing her of using the situation to chase clout. Rather than pray for her as requested, Nigerians who doubted the tweet trooped to the comment section to mock her and query how she was able to tweet in that situation.
Unfortunately, a friend of the now deceased doctor took to the platform to confirm that Chinelo didn’t make it and died in the attack.
“Shot in the chest or head? Let me know so that I can know how to pray for you… “Carefully Go Through Her TL, Check Her Avi, People She Follows, The Places She Ha Commented, Then You Will KNOW She’s Not in Nigeria And This Is A Big Lie!!!”, were some of the insensitive comments that trailed Chinelo’s tweet.
