It was a proud mommy moment for Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, as her one-year-old son Ire participated in inter-house sport activities in his school for the first time.
The mom-of-one took to her Instagram page to share a video of her fighting to hold back tears as she watched her son compete in a race in the school event that took place recently.
According to her, it was a wonderful experience for her and she couldn’t believe her little boy of yesterday is old enough to now display his creativity before an audience. The young champ will turn two in August.

“I watched my son for the first time participate in inter-house sport activities at his school very recently. This was such an emotional day for me as i could not believe that my own son has grown so much that he could now participate and display his creativity in the front of hundreds of people. A Nigerian lady, identified as Chidera Atuah, has called out her estranged husband, Sunday Iloka, for allegedly taking their kids away after they separated in August 2021.
Taking to Facebook, Chidera disclosed that she separated from her husband last year over alleged domestic violence and other personal issues.
Following this, she said her husband tricked her to travel to the village with their daughter leaving their sons behind, on the grounds that he would come join her in the village for their people to resolve their differences.
However, she said her husband took her sons to Bayelsa state to stay with his sister and moved out of their apartment while she was in the village waiting for him.

Nigerian fitness model, Bolu Okupe has stated that he has a problem with gay Christians who believe the Bible is not against homosexuality.
The 28-year-old son of former presidential aide, Doyin Okupe, who came out as gay in January 2021, took to Twitter to share his reservation about such people.
According to him, he has a problem with gay Christians who make attempts to convince him that Christianity is in support of homosexuality, when it is clearly against it.
He wrote on Saturday, March 21, “I don’t have an issue with Gay Christians. I have an issue with Gay Christians who try to convince me that Christianity / The Bible is not opposed to homosexuality, when it clearly is.”
His tweet has elicited different reactions from netizens who tried to explain that the Bible is subject to the interpretation of the reader, hence why some people interpret it to be in support of homosexuality.

Residents of Aleyita, Lugbe, in the Federal Capital Territory, have stopped a robbery attempt on the community and caught three of the perpetrators.
Punch reports that the robbers numbering about 15 stormed the community in the early hours of Sunday, March 20, but fled when residents joined forces and confronted them.
A resident of Aleyita, Hakeem Azeez, said that they have been on the alert after a gang of robbers invaded Chika Phase 3, an adjoining street, and dispossessed residents of their mobile phones, television sets, cash, among others, last week.
Azeez said that one of the suspects died while engaging residents in a fight.
“They came around 6am and were jumping from one house to the other. It was like a movie, as one of them was walking on people’s roofs. They had robbed the other street last week and carted away phones and other property. We knew they would come again and truly, they did.
“One was caught while struggling to go away with some of the things stolen from people. Two others were given a hot chase and apprehended.
“One of those they went to rob engaged them; they fled when other residents joined; but one stayed put and tried to fight them, instead of surrendering. He was, however, overpowered, leading to his death. I want to plead with the police to investigate properly and apprehend others. The attack on our area is getting out of hand.” He narrated.

Addressing the events of March 17th, Ebele stated that she had left her seat to greet Bianca but the latter reacted to her greeting by slapping her.

The Delta State Police Command got a hold of a woman who assaulted her 12-year-old niece, Igho, for allegedly stealing Garri and fish.
According to reports, the incident occured at their shared family compound in Isiokolo, Ethiope East council area of the state on Saturday, 19th of March.
It’s reported that the assaulter, one Mercy Oba noticed her garri and fish were tampered with and angrily walked into the young girl’s room, picked the food items and pounced on her.
The cries from Igho were said to have attracted her blind mother who pleaded with her sister to stop the beatings. Despite pleas from Igho’s mother, Mercy went further to put pepper and insert a stick into the girl’s vagina which damaged her hymen.
Speaking to journalists, a human rights activist, Kelvin Ejumudo, revealed he got wind of the cruelty and quickly led his colleagues to the scene and rescued the victim.
“Mercy Oba is the sister to the blind woman. The blind woman’s daughter, Igho, went to her room and took garri and fish,” Ejumudo explained.
“When the auntie met her in the room and asked ‘why are you stealing my food? Igho said they (herself and mother) were hungry
“She started beating the little girl. The blind mother managed to find her way down and pleaded for her to leave Igho, but she started to beat her too. The next thing, she carried the little girl to her room, put pepper in her private part and drove a stick into her vagina.
“People came and were holding her, but she threw their load outside, that they will no longer stay in the house. The next thing, she said she would kill them and nothing would happen
“I got the distress call that she’s an Igbo woman, so she feels that her juju will protect her. She felt untouchable. We swung into action and got her arrested. She was detained in our presence and medical care was given to the girl and her blind mother.”
According to him, the doctor stated that the girl’s hymen has been broken because of the force the auntie used in driving the stick into her private part.
He added that the matter will be charged to a court on Monday. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident on Sunday, said the aunt is cooling off her feet in police custody.
A woman, identified as Jasmine Grogan, has taken to TikTok to share the unusual way she met and fell in love with her husband, one Macaulay Murchie.
She said she met her husband who was homeless at the time outside a supermarket when she went shopping. She offered him money but he refused to accept it.
Jasmine said she proceeded into the supermarket to shop but couldn’t stop thinking about the homeless man she had just met. After shopping, Macauley offered to help her carry her shopping bags and they hit it off from there.

A female bus counselor was captured on camera giving out advice to women in a bus that was on transit and her video has begun making rounds online.
The marriage counselor in the video is heard telling women during the trip that they need to be grateful to men after every intimate session because most women look beautiful without makeup because of the sperm they receive from men.
The lady who hails from Ghana further claims that sperms contain vitamin C which gives women a natural glow after each intimate session.

Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale, has spoken on his perceived strained relationship with his mother, Elsie Evelyn Avemegah.
The mother of the superstar singer has called him out severally accusing him of neglecting her.
Elsie in an interview with Accra-based radio, Hot FM accused the singer of being a deadbeat son, who doesn’t visit her and they haven’t met anywhere in 3 years.
According to her, the strain in their mother-son relationship was caused by Shatta’s girlfriend, Magdalen. She alleged that Magdalene Luv told Shatta Wale to cut ties with her because she is a witch.
Speaking on the reason behind his behavior towards his mum in a video he shared online, Shatta Wale said,
“I’m from a broken home. My mother left my father some time ago when we were young. When I was in SS 1, we used to study about 13 subjects in a day and I didn’t have the mind for that. My brain is no factory. So, I told my father that I can’t continue that.
“At that time, he wanted all of us to relocate to the states, Miami to be precise. He had a contract there and wanted all of us to migrate to the US. My mother didn’t think about my father’s plans and left him. She ran from home and left us. My father tried tirelessly to get her back. God is our witness. As a result of that decision, I grew up in hard conditions.”

Moments after Annie Idbia broke down in tears while speaking about how embarrassing it’s that her husband has five kids with two other women and her own first child is his fifth, despite meeting him before these women, Pero shared a post which many suggest is a subtle shade at Annie.
She shared a video of her children with the legendary singer and noted that she’s blessed to be their mother.
