The 24-year-old daughter of Senator Suleiman Nazif from Bauchi State and Emir Sanusi’s son, Ashraf Adam Sanusi, married in August 2024.

On Instagram stories, a fan questioned whether she had changed her name to Sultana Sanusi, she responded that she doesn’t believe in a woman replacing her father’s name after marriage.

Popular Nigerian artist Davido expressed discontent after his name was used to generate buzz by a popular blog.

Instablog had earlier posted a video to X (Twitter) of three kidnappers who had been apprehended by the residents of Victory Estate, Ago Palace, Lagos State. In the video, the leader of the three was being questioned.

One of the questions he was asked was, “What is your name?” to which the kidnapper replied that his nickname was Davido, he said;

“Davido is my nickname. I came to kidnap.”

This outrageous statement of his was then used by the blogsite to craft a headline that deceptively referred to “Davido” as a kidnapper.

It read; “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos”.

This then caught the attention of the singer who was less than pleased that his name had been used in such a manner.

Replying to the original post he wrote, “One day go be one day…..continue…my karma no dey always tey”, expressing his displeasure.

The article went viral, garnering massive backlash from the people online which made Instablog to promptly delete the post, wiping evidence of what they had done from the internet.

This was made known to the public after a court summon where Shyngle Wigwe sued his granddaughter surfaced online.

Recall that Herbert Wigwe, a Nigerian businessman and former CEO of Access Bank, had lost his life in a plane crash alongside his wife and son.

However, in October 2024, several reports online claimed that Shyngle Wigwe’s family had made plans to disinherit his late son’s children from an already made will, a claim they denied.

In a new turn of events, a court summon has emerged disclosing that Shyngle Wigwe is suing his granddaughter over his son’s inheritance.

The court summons, which stated that the dispute revolved around the administration of Herbert Wigwe’s estate identified with the suit number ID/7735, FMP/2024, and was scheduled for the Lagos State Judicial Division, reinforced by a court order on November 18, 2024.

She stated that she had been willing to do a DNA test, but her father-in-law, alongside his accomplices, had been making it look like she didn’t want to take the test.

Wunmi, who finally broke her silence revealed that she receives death threats from people online every day since her husband’s passing.

Recall that singer Mohbad had passed at the age of 27 years, and the circumstances that led to his death are still unknown.

Although investigations are ongoing, the late singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, has accused Wunmi of being involved in his son’s death and claimed that his grandchild, Liam, doesn’t resemble Mohbad or anyone in their lineage, thereby questioning the child’s paternity.

In the video, Wunmi could be heard speaking about how her father-in-law had been tarnishing her name and making claims that his grandchild was a bastard.

In the widely shared video, the hairdresser held a kettle of boiling water as her customer sat backward in a chair, trying to keep the hot water from splashing onto her scalp.

Despite her client’s protests, she held the kettle close to her head and deliberately poured hot water onto the client’s scalp.

Originally intended to give the hair a curled braid finish for aesthetic purposes, the hot water eventually hurt her scalp.

The hairstylist’s deliberate conduct has sparked outrage online.

The Director of Communications to Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko has taken to his Instagram page to address rumors that he plans on taking actress Chika Ike as his 7th wife.

He stated in the official statement that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation that is being spread by bloggers seeking attention.

According to him, people keep fabricating lies about him and his wife because they know it will grasp the attention of many.

Recall that after Chika Ike announced that she was pregnant, many internet users claimed that the senator was the father and he had intentions to marry her as his 7th wife.

The persistent claim has led to the senator coming out to debunk the rumors, hours after Regina Daniels, 6th wife to Ned Nwoko, deactivated her social media pages.

A part of his statement read;

“Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him. We categorically state that these claims are entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculation. Similarly, reports claiming he made statements about Tuface and polygamy are completely untrue. As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories. However, Senator Nwoko is currently on a national assignment, focused on delivering on his political mandate, and has no time for distractions.”

“That very day, I put the money in my bag and went to a betting shop. They finished it sharp sharp,” he admitted, revealing his reckless decision-making.
