Nigerian gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, has finally unveiled his fiancée’s face weeks after announcing their engagement.

Taking to his verified Instagram page on Thursday, March 17 to show off his woman, the singer wrote,

“Just take a look at the person I get to do Lifeeee with!!! @ericakatrina_ , you’re My greatest reward from God! I Love you My still waters”.

When Tim Godfrey announced their engagement days ago, he only showed off their engagement ring.

A while ago, the gospel Singer, Tim Godfrey narrated how he attempted suicide when he was younger due to hardship as a ‘houseboy’.

He revealed in an interview with The Sun that he had very humble beginnings and had to become a houseboy by the age of 12.

When he was asked his most embarrassing moment working as a houseboy, he said ;

Working as a houseboy was not an embarrassing experience but a painful one. I was always beaten and abused. There was nothing fun about the experience. I was flogged until I bled. I never stole and was not disobedient but it was not a good experience. I remember one day I ran away from my master’s house and I almost committed suicide.

I was like ‘this life is not worth it. If I go back to my parents, this man will come for me again, because that was about the fourth time I was running away from his house’. It was a nightmare staying with him. I couldn’t watch television, listen to radio or play around with friends.

I was just there washing, cleaning and sweeping. I became a houseboy at the age of 12 due to crippling poverty.

Nigerian singer, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh popularly known as Peruzzi, has opined that micro-blogging platform, Twitter, is the worst app in the whole world.

This comes days after he had a face-off with a troll on Twitter who claimed Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, is biologically his.

Taking to Snapchat to share his two-cents about the app, Peruzzi said it is extremely vile and filled with hungry and angry people.

Big Brother Naija star and Billionaire heir, Terseer Waya better known as KiddWaya, has reacted to the stage used to host President Muhammudu Buhari in Lagos.

The President is currently in Lagos to commission the newly built International terminal of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos. He is also expected to commission the Dangote Fertiliser plant.

During the commissioning, Kiddwaya noticed that the podium was supported with stones and took to Twitter to express disbelief at the stage used to host the number one citizen of Nigeria.

Cameroon goalkeeper, Andre Onana, miraculously walked away unharmed after being involved in a ghastly accident on his way to Douala from the country’s capital, Yaounde.

It was gathered that Onana was travelling by road to join the rest of the Cameroon squad in preparation for their doubleheader 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Algeria, when the accident occurred.

Cameroon-based journalist, Njie Enow, via his Twitter handle, confirmed that the Ajax star survived the accident unscathed.

A young lady identified as Takor Veronica, has been found dead in a hotel room located at Nyima area of Makurdi, Benue state.

According to reports, Veronica was taken to the hotel by an undisclosed person during the weekend only for her lifeless body to be discovered on Saturday, March 19.

Confirming the tragic incident, the Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Catherine Anene, said the cause of her death is still unknown as they are still waiting for report from doctors. She however denied reports that her body was mutilated and her vital parts removed.

Her words,

“There is a death report of a lady in a hotel but details will come from doctors; we did not see marks of violence on her body. So, the autopsy will reveal the cause of the death. The person that died was dressed; we didn’t see marks on her body meaning there were no injuries.

“Three suspects were arrested in connection with this case, so they will give us details. We can’t say it is a case of murder because we didn’t see marks of violence.”

Friends of the deceased have now taken to Facebook to mourn her death.

Teenager’s body found under pile of clothes eight months after she went missing

A teenage girl’s body has been found under a pile of clothes on an apartment balcony by a cleaner, months after she went missing.

Audreona Barnes, 18, was last seen on July 30, 2021. She spoke with her family for the last time by phone that day before disappearing.

Her 39-year-old boyfriend, Bennie Washington, has now been charged with aggravated murder and gross abuse of a corpse after her fatal shooting, Cleveland.com reports.

Barnes’ body was found last Thursday, March 17, on the balcony of Bennie’s former apartment on Warner Road, in the Broadway-Slavic Village area of Cleveland, from where he had been evicted last March.

A cleaner reportedly called police after finding Barnes’ body on a balcony under a pile of clothes and blankets.

Investigators said that it seemed as though the body had been put outside intentionally to speed up decomposition.

Court documents reportedly stated that Ms Barnes had been shot in the head and investigators found bullet casings close to the body as well as a bullet hole in an apartment wall.

Corps member cries out after she wasn’t allowed to stay at Lagos orientation camp because she is married

A female corps member has lamented bitterly after she wasn’t allowed to stay at the NYSC orientation camp in Lagos because she is married.

The lady, identified as Chidinma Simeon, who tied the knot in January, took to Facebook to reveal that NYSC officials didn’t allow her stay in camp after registration because of her marital status.

Chidinma who seemed to have been looking forward to the experience of camping with her fellow corps members, was met with a huge disappointment and told to return home after registering for the exercise.

Sharing a photo of herself wearing her wedding ring, she wrote, “Lagos camp y me, I was rejected to camp after registration because am married feel like crying. Who even tell me to go and get married. Nobody should tell my hubby I love him so much I don’t want to loose him because of NYSC.”

It rained fire and brimstone on some allegedly wicked bosses in Nigeria on Monday, March 21, after their former employees took to Twitter to call them out for being mean and wicked.

It all started when an article was released about a certain employer, named Ebun Okubanjo, who allegedly disrespects his employees at the slightest opportunity, threatens to beat them up and calls them vulgar names.

The article stirred a huge controversy online and other Twitter users started sharing their horrible work experiences with the hashtag #HorribleBosses.

A particular employer, identified as Daniel Emeka, was called out by different people and accused of firing his employees at the slightest provocation.

One accused him of sacking a staff for not singing ‘happy birthday’, and paying his employee’s salaries late.

While other bosses didn’t respond to the accusations levied against them, Emeka choose to clear the air and shared receipts to defend himself.
