Bride-to-be and two bestfriends die in fatal accident a week to her wedding
A bride-to-be, identified as Damitat Kuteesa, and her two bestfriends have perished in a fatal car accident just a week to her wedding.
The car accident reportedly occurred along the Entebbe Expressway in Uganda on Sunday, March 13, as they were returning from another friend’s bridal shower in Entebbe.
It was gathered that the bride-to-be was scheduled to marry the love of her life, Rabbie Kays Kitibwa, next week before she was snatched by the cold hands of death.
Her other two friends have been identified as Prisca Nalugo and Nampijja Rina.
According to a source who witnessed the horrible accident, Mawere Joshua, the car lost control and somersaulted multiple times.
“It was a sad scene, the car rolled in front of us, we were driving behind them…seat belts saved the other two girls…while the ones in the back seat were tossed and thrown out of the car as it over turned. Their impact on the ground stole life out of them. It was sad, seeing them in that state minutes after them paying the toll fee.” he said.

Woman shares horrific ordeal after she boarded ‘one-chance’ bus in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos
A Nigerian woman simply identified as Adunniade has narrated how she was dealt with by one chance operators in Lagos state.
TTaking to her Instagram page to recount the horrific incident, Adunniade, who lives in the Iyana-Ipaja area of Lagos state but works in Yaba, said she was on her way home from work on Thursday, March 10, when the incident occurred.
According to her, she boarded the bus going to Ipaja-Ayobo from Iyana Ipaja. She added that an elderly woman entered the bus, so she followed. But immediately after they got in, the men in the bus attacked her and the elderly woman, beating them and collecting all their valuables.
She said the chance bus passed a police checkpoint during the operation, but the men made her lie down on the floor of the bus and put a bag over her head. Adunni revealed that when she lost consciousness as a result of the torture she was revived with a blow.

Nigerian media personality and actress, Stephanie Coker has bemoaned the situations of things in the country.
Taking to her Twitter page, the mom of one disclosed that her 2020 car is damaged due to the bad fuel imported into the country and she has been charged N3.7 million for repairs.

Police arrests, arraigns celebrant who distributed kegs of petrol as souvenir in Lagos
The prime suspect, who distributed kegs of petrol as souvenirs at a party held at Havilah Events Centre, Victoria Island, on March 4, 2022, has been arrested and subsequently arraigned.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the Lagos state Police command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, revealed the suspect, Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl, was arraigned on March 14 at the Special Offences (Mobile) Court of Lagos State in the Ikeja Magistrate District at Oshodi on a four-count charge of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace, endangering human life by distributing combustible matter in a public gathering, intent to do harm to another and unlawfully carrying on the business of storage and containerizing petroleum product without a permit.
Recall that after the video showing the kegs of fuel being distributed went viral, the Lagos state government frowned at the act, insisting that it was dangerous and could lead to loss of lives and property.
A statement released by the state Commissioner of Information, Gbenga Omotoso, revealed the case was being investigated and all those involved would be made to account for it.

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to recount how he miraculously escaped death after a close friend poisoned his drink.
The young man identified on Facebook as Hallmark Chibuzo Paul revealed that someone he called a friend and father poisoned his drink last Sunday night, March 13.
According to him, if not for God and his mother’s quick intervention, he would have died. He added that after his drink was poisoned, his unsuspecting self gulped the content. When the poison started to take effect, he pooed blood till 2 a.m. the next day.
Recounting the incident, he wrote,

A Twitter user recounted how one of his clients purchased a 125 million naira duplex for his 19-year-old girlfriend.
The Twitter user, identified as @justkingss, said he was shocked to discover that the client, who was a married man, didn’t buy the property for himself or his wife, but for his teenage girlfriend, who hails from Benin.
The said man gifted the lady the N125m Duplex in Lekki as a birthday present.

One of the four teenagers arrested for killing girlfriend for money ritual in Ogun state has been released
One of the four teenagers accused of killing one Sofiat Kehinde, a girlfriend of one of them for an alleged money ritual, has been released by an Ogun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Abeokuta.
Recall that the suspects, identified as Balogun Mustaqeem, 20; Majekodunmi Soliudeen, 18; Abdulgafar Lukman, 19; and Waris Oladeinde, 18, were arrested on January 28, 2022 , while they were burning the head of their victim, Sofiat, Majekodunmi’s girlfriend.
The teenagers were then remanded in Oba Correctional Centre in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of the state after being arraigned on two counts of conspiracy and murder.
However, on Monday, March 14, Chief Magistrate I. O. Abudu discharged 17-year-old Oladeinde on legal advice received from the state Director of Public Prosecutions.
No charge was recorded against Oladeinde in the legal advice and Abudu based his judgment on the investigation by the police, which proved Oladeinde’s innocence.
Further hearing of the charges against the three other teenagers was adjourned till April 22.

“I prefer dating men who are 60 years and above” — Actress Monalisa Stephen reveals
Nollywood actress, Monalisa Stephen, has revealed that she prefers dating men who are 60 years and above.
Speaking in an interview with DailySun, the plus-sized model said if she eventually decides to get married, she would love to marry an older man.
She also disclosed that she doesn’t intend to bear children of her own and plans to go through the adoption route.
She said,
“Everyone knows that I have always liked older men. I use to be ashamed to say it but now, I can say it with my full chest. I love dating older men. And yes, men in their 60s and above. And if I ever consider marriage, I’ll end up with men in that age bracket.
I just want to be with someone and we enjoy life together. He doesn’t have to put a ring on it to prove his love. Marriage is overrated. I also don’t want to have kids; I want to adopt kids. A lot of kids are out there who don’t have homes. I want to give them homes and let them know how it feels to have mums and families.”

Two young boys were nabbed while trying to park a lady’s urine on the floor at the Evbotubu bus stop in Benin, Edo state.
It was gathered that the unidentified lady had eased herself on one corner of the road, and as she left, the young boys went to the spot and transferred the urine to a small black bag.
Unknown to the boys, some men who were in a car were watching them all the time. The men accosted them and asked why they parked the lady’s urine.
One of them claimed he parked the urine just to smell it and help the lady dispose of it properly.
A Twitter user who shared the video on the micro-blogging platform wrote, “LADIES BE CAREFUL OUT THERE WHEN YOU URINATE PUBLICLY 🚨🚨🚨 This happened In Benin city yesterday around Evbotubu bus stop when two boys were caught harvesting someone’s urine just after they left”.
