A Nigerian businessman, simply identified as Bama, has reportedly been murdered by his wife for allegedly impregnating another woman in Lagos.

Bama, who was the owner of Bama hotel and suites located in the Abule-Egba area of the state, was allegedly attacked by his wife while he was asleep on Monday, January 24.

The couple were married for eight years and had three children before the unfortunate incident occurred.

It was gathered that they just returned from a trip to Dubai when the aggrieved wife drugged her husband and attacked him with a hot iron.

A source claimed, “she accused him of impregnating another woman. And from what I heard, she drugged him and used hot iron to press him to death.”

Meanwhile, details of the incident are still sketchy.

In other news, a woman, Olanshile Nasirudeen, 47, was also arrested in Ijebu Ode area of Ogun state for allegedly stabbing her 51-year-old husband to death for impregnating another woman. Read here

A young Nigerian man who was randomly picked up by the police has been released after spending two years in jail.

The man whose name wasn’t disclosed, was allegedly arrested while he was on his way home two years ago and has reportedly been behind bars since then.

According to lawyer and activist, Malachy Odo, who shared this on Twitter, the man has finally regained freedom today, January 25, after appearing at the Surulere Magistrate court.

Sharing a group photo with the young man, Malachy wrote,

“The young man in white shirt goes home today from Surulere Magistrate Court after 2 years in prison custody sequel to being picked up by the police at night on his way home.

A while ago, another man was released from prison after spending almost a decade for a crime he knew nothing about.

The unidentified man was reportedly arrested during a raid in Oworonshoki and subsequently imprisoned for seven years in Ikoyi prisons, Lagos state.

In the early hours of Tuesday, 25th December 2021, popular gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo admitted publicly that he was involved in an adulterous affair.

Reacting to this, Bolanle said Sammie Okposo did the right thing by admitting and stepping down from the music ministry. She added that he did a horrible thing but he’s now making steps to restore and heal.

Policemen of Felele Divisional Headquarters of Oyo State Command on Saturday January 22nd, arrested a 23-year-old man identified as Awoola Tobi, of Oleyo Ayegun road Ibadan, who is reported to be a habitual burglar in connection with a case of Burglary and Stealing which occurred at about 2000hrs on Thursday 28/12/2021 at Choice Plaza, Challenge area Ibadan were mobile phones and accessories to the tune of about (#2,000,000) two million naira were allegedly stolen.

In a statement released by SP Adewale Osifeso, spokesperson of the state police command, stated that after painstaking and diligent investigations, the culprit was tracked and apprehended in possession of the following items which were hitherto reported stolen.

These recovered items include; (16) Sixteen i-Phones, a white earpiece, one unbranded white-colored earpod, a Sony Vio laptop, one Dell laptop, and a black shuttle bag.

The police spokesperson also stated that preliminary investigations and voluntary confessions were made by the suspect where he revealed that he broke into the mobile phone and accessories shop situated at Choice Plaza, Challenge Ibadan, unaided, with the intention of stealing and re-selling the items.

The Oyo State Police Command seeks the cooperation of the good people of the State in providing credible and timely information to help apprehend his accomplices.

In the early hours of Tuesday, January 25, 2022, popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie OKposo, tendered a public apology to his wife and his fans for cheating on his wife.

In a statement released on his official Instagram page, the singer confessed he had an intimate relationship with another woman in the US in 2021. He also noted that he would be stepping down from ministry until he gains full restoration.

In a new development, an American lady who claims to be the one the singer cheated on his wife with has now spoken up.

In a chat with YouTuber, Obodo Naija TV, the Texas-based lady said she met Sammie in Texas when he was on a tour in the US and he invited her to his hotel where they spent the night together.

Sharing screenshots of her chats with the gospel singer, she said they were in a relationship for months and spent time together until she discovered she was pregnant in January.

She alleged that the ‘Welu Welu’ master asked her to abort the baby when she told him about the pregnancy and blocked on all social media platforms afterwards.

“Sammie okposo got me pregnant and does not want to take responsibility and blocked me on all social media platforms. We met at a concert in one church close to my home and we started following each other on Instagram. He asked for my number from Instagram and we started conversing regularly.

“He invited me to his show in Houston Texas in November 2021, he invited me to his hotel and we hung out. I spent the night with him until the next morning. We kept speaking even when he invited me to Nigeria, we messed around on several occasions. I am accountable for my part. In December again , he invited me to his show and we messed around.” She said in part.

A Spanish woman, Jasmine Alicia Carter, has revealed that she collects, drinks and applies her own menstrual blood on her skin.

The 30-year-old woman, who is married with a child, claims the blood is rich in nutrients and helps to boost her physical and spiritual health.

“It’s rich with protein, iron, copper, selenium which many women are so depleted of. It contains regenerative stem cells and it has antimicrobial as well as detoxifying properties.”

“Your menstrual blood is pure medicine. If you can collect your period blood, there are so many things you can do with it and ways it can benefit your health and wellbeing,” she said.

She says she also applies her fresh menstrual blood on her face as face masks, and uses it to create artworks.

According to her, her husband approves of it and doesn’t have a problem with her walking around the house with menstrual blood on her face.

Explaining how she collects the blood, Jasmine says she squats on the toilet, removes her menstrual cup and takes a sip.

“I’m so connected to my body that I know exactly how much blood to drink,’ she said.

Jasmine, a Sacred Woman’s Empowerment Mentor, says she helps and coaches women ‘to understand and reclaim the inherent sacredness that lies within their entire menstrual cycle.’

‘Understanding and reclaiming my period has given me a whole new appreciation for myself and for women,’ she said.

She also encouraged women to squat down and give their period blood to the earth to connect themselves to nature.

Nigerian journalist, Kiki Mordi has stirred mixed reactions online after she said Igbo people are very harmful to women.

The staunch feminist had made this generalized statement in reaction to the call for a Swiss woman, identified as Nwanyiocha, married to an Anambra man, to be made the state’s commissioner for tourism by Governor-elect, Charles Soludo.

Reacting to this, Kiki Mordi stated that she is pained by the “race gist”. According to her, there are many white women married to Igbo men that are being maltreated by their husbands and concluded by saying “Igbo men are very harmful to women”.

A US-based Nigerian man was left devastated and attempted suicide after the woman he married in Nigeria deceived him into bringing her family and lover into the US and later filed for a divorce from him.

According to a Twitter user, Akwari Charles, who shared the heartbreaking story on the micro-blogging platform, the said lady never had anything intimate to do with the man as she told him that she’s a devout Christian and wanted to wait till they were married.

Charles said the lady insisted on having a white wedding in the US and she wanted her family to be present, so she made the man apply for visas for them and brought them to the US.

After her goal of bringing her family aboard was achieved, she reportedly filed for divorce from the man, and it was later discovered that a guy who she claimed was a step brother was actually her boyfriend.

A viral video of a young lady comfortably scrolling through pornographic content on a public bus has caused a stir online.

In the video that found its way to the internet, the lady who was in the bus filled with other passengers is seen keeping herself company with a pornographic video.

She had her face glued to the explicit content she was watching on her phone and cared less about her environment.

An elderly man who appeared to be stunned by her action looked at her in awe.

In other news, a video serving rounds online has shown the moment a woman confronted a man for sexually harassing her on a bus.

In the video, the lady brings out a pepper spray after the man who sat next to her on the bus was touching her inappropriately.

When confronted, the man said he was touching her because he cared. He went on to say that her anklet was a sign that she was available.

Popular Nigerian gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo, has tendered a public apology to his wife, Ozioma, for cheating on her.

In a statement shared on his official Instagram page on Monday, January 24, the ‘Wellu Wellu’ crooner confessed to having had an intimate affair with another woman when he travelled to the US in 2021.

He said he is ashamed of his action and regrets it as it has caused a lot of pain to his wife and family. Speaking further, he noted that he will be suspending all ministry works for now until he regains full restoration.

The statement reads,

“Dear Friends,

I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but know that this is the right thing to do. On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021), I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife, Ozioma, my family and I.

As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness, I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people.

To my wife, Ozioma. I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you. Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgement is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day for the rest of my life.

I want to take this moment and apologize to all Fathers and Mothers of the Faith and ministers of the Gospel for my behavior and moral failure. I won’t be here if not for your investment and belief in what God has called me to do. I sincerely apologize for this embarrassing situation.

To all that have been a part of my ministry, followed my ministry or know me personally, I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I regret any pain or disappointment that this news of my moral failure and poor judgement may cause you and I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I humbly ask that you continue to pray for me….

Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to Nigeria’s elimination from the ongoing African Cup of Nations.

The Super-Eagles shockingly crashed out in the round-of-16 to Tunisia and as a result, did not meet up to the expectations they’d set for themselves in the Tournament.

After the defeat to Tunisia, the players faced heavy online bashing from angry Nigerians and some players were forced to deactivate their social media account.

President Buhari, while reacting to the defeat, released a statement advising Nigerians to encourage the boys to bounce back and do better next time.

Even though the Super Eagles did not live up to our expectations in the AFCON match last night, they all, officials and players alike, deserve commendation for the tough fight they put up.

Indeed they gave everyone the confidence that they were up to it, and I am sure it was something they could have achieved. Nonetheless, we should not write them off.

What we should all do instead, as Nigerians, is to encourage them to bounce back and do better next time.
I have directed the football authorities to undertake a critical assessment of the AFCON performance, to enable better outcomes in the future, starting with the forthcoming World Cup qualification matches.

I am also using this opportunity to urge the general public to send your suggestions to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), so that they can reflect and plan well for a better outing in the World Cup.
