A Mexican teacher, Uziel Martinez, has narrated how he was dumped by his girlfriend one month after he donated a kidney to his girlfriend’s mother.
In a series of clips on TikTok, he explained how he heroically helped save his partner’s mum by donating an organ. Sadly, his selfless act would not be enough to save his relationship, which was over within weeks of the operation.
According to Martinez, his ex is now happily married to another man.
“I donated a kidney to her mother, she left me and got married a month later. I don’t have anything against her … we’re not friends but we don’t h**e each other. I only made the video for TikTok, I didn’t think it would get out of control,” Martinez told Mexico’s news daily
“We just have two kidneys and if I already gave one, I only have another one for me, so … I can’t feel it,” he added.

Nigerian life coach, Sola Adio, has replied a man who said no pastor deserves one’s first month salary in the name of first fruit.
The Twitter user with handle @AkwariCharles, had taken to the platform to tell people specifically Christians, to wise up on the topic of ‘first fruit’.
Reacting to the tweet, Sola Adio slammed the man for dictating how Christians should spend their money when they didn’t beg or borrow from him.
According to him, Christians don’t attack ‘unbelievers’ who squander their money recklessly, so they should also leave Christians alone to spend their money how they deem fit.
He wrote,

A Nigerian woman is currently in a celebratory mood following the birth of her first child five years after marriage.

Popular Nigerian aphrodisiac specialist, Jaruma, has broken her silence following reports that she was arrested in Abuja.
Viral reports alleged that the businesswoman was arrested on Friday, January 21, on the orders of billionaire businessman and actress Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko.
It can be recalled that Jaruma took to social media to drag Ned Nwoko’s wife, Regina, claiming she breached their N10M contract, after the latter publicly dissociated herself from her and her Kayanmata brand.

This comes after Oye claimed Bobrisky ‘knacks’ her at night and harasses her almost the entire time he worked as a PA for him in Nigeria.

Abdulmalik Tanko, the schoolteacher who was arrested for killing a 5-year-old pupil of his school, Hanifa Abubakar, has confessed to the crime.
Hanifa was kidnapped on December 4, 2021 on her way home. Her body was, however, recovered two days ago from a shallow grave inside her school compound, Noble Kids Nursery and Primary School, Kawana, Kano.
Police investigations led to the arrest of the school proprietor who had called her parents after her abduction and demanded a N6 million ransom.
While being paraded before newsmen at the Kano Police Command headquarters on Friday, January 21, Tanko revealed he killed the little girl with N100 rat poison.
Although he confessed to the crime, he dismissed claims that he killed the young girl for money ritual.
“I picked her inside Keke NAPEP and I carried her to my own house where I lied to my wife that the girl was a daughter to one of the women working in my school and that the mother traveled and is pleading for us to keep the girl for some days. My wife accepted and kept the girl for that reason.
I realized that the girl’s parents were informed that when picking her up, she made mention of ‘uncle’. This gave me the impression that they might be suspecting me as the uncle.
Then after some time, after some days, some of my teachers visited my house very early in the morning and when they came, I was also suspecting that they were sent over to the house to find out whether the girl was there with me; that was on the 5th day after the kidnap.
So, I decided that it was better I found a way before I would be caught. I first thought of sending this girl to another state but again, I thought the whole town was aware that she was missing. If the girl was going to be sent out through the main roads, we would be caught. So, that was when I concaved the idea of killing her.
“I picked her at home; she was already sleeping, it was getting to 11pm. I picked her up… I used to take tea always… I was drinking tea at that time, so I put the remaining tea in an empty container of BoBo yoghurt and then I poured in this rat killer poison inside and gave it to the girl, not in my own house.
When we went to the other school, when we were passing, I told her that I was taking her back to her uncle’s house so as we were going, I gave her the drink on the road and she drank it and then we entered one branch of the school, the branches are two. We entered the other branch with her and I told her I was going to pick something inside. She entered and that was where she finally died.
I bought the poison 100 naira. I buried her in the school. Let me clear this doubt. People are thinking that it has to do with ritual, this is not rituals. I buried her inside the school simply because I was not able to find any secure place to dig a hole.” He said.
There was drama at the headquarters of the Kano State Police Command on Friday, when Fatima Maina, mother of late 5-year-old Hanifa Abubakar, attacked the teacher who killed her daughter.
It can be recalled that Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, a schoolteacher, was arrested by men of the police command for the gruesome murder of a minor after abducting her and collecting part of the ransom he demanded.
According to a report by the Daily Trust, the grieving parents were at the command headquarters today, January 21, and the mother of the deceased pounced on her daughter’s alleged killer the moment she sighted him.
“Immediately, Fatima sighted Tanko, she charged towards him, raining slaps and blows on him as she demanded why he took her daughter’s life. The drama continued for a while until policemen whisked the prime suspect away”, Daily Trust reported.
Two more suspects, including Tanko’s wife, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The gracious Lagos street hawker who was spotted days ago giving handouts to a couple of prisoners who were in a correctional vehicle, got to meet with billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana.

A Belarusian woman who lives in Nigeria, has put a huge smile on her house help’s face after she paid her children’s school fees.
The white woman whose Instagram handle is @white_in_africa, took to the platform to share a video of the moment she told the maid about her grand gesture.
It was gathered that the woman discovered that her house help was having issues with paying her children’s school fees and decided to step in.
The woman who runs a Russian blog, said some of her followers donated towards the children’s school fees for two terms, including their school books and snacks.

A heartbreaking video of late five-year-old pupil, Hanifa Abubakar, who was murdered by her school teacher has been shared online.
It was earlier reported that Hanifa was kidnapped and killed by her school teacher, one Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, in Kano last December, despite having collected part of the N6 million ransom.
Her corpse was discovered and exhumed few days ago at the location where he had buried her remains.

Nigerian singer and King of Pop, Adekunle Gold begins the new year with a new jam tagged, “Mercy”. The song was produced by Blaise Beatz.
This comes after the huge success of his last single HIGH featuring Davido.
This new song, “Mercy” is a pop record that comes with Baba Fryo’s Denge Pose vibe. On it Adekunle Gold prays for God’s mercy in order to identify fake friends with fake love and overcome his enemies.

The ‘Bounce’ hitmaker who gained popularity in 2021, took to Twitter to share this experience and asked his followers to advise on him on what to do.

A Nigerian Twitter user has shared his chat with his neighbor, who asked if he’s gay because she’s never seen any female visit him in his house since he moved in.
According to him, he and the female neighbor who accosted him to ask about his sexuality have the barest minimum relationship in the compound.
“I know it’s none of my business, but since you moved in, you haven’t had any female visitors, only males. I was wondering if you are gay”. She asked him.
He revealed that rather than answer the question, he cut her short, since they were not closer, and wondered why she thought it was okay to question him about such a thing.
Sharing a screenshot of their chat, he wrote,

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has promised to give the Super Eagles team $250,000 if they win the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
His promise was disclosed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, who represented CACOVID during a visit to the team’s camp in Cameroon.
He also said CACOVID will reward them with $120,000 for the six goals they scored in the group stage of the tournament – $20,000 per goal.
He further noted that they have increased the reward to $50,000 per goal in the round of 16.

“I came with a message from the CACOVID. The CACOVID is the coalition of private-sector companies that was set up to fight COVID-19 in Nigeria and they have been happy with the performance of the team,” Emefiele said.
“During the meeting, I had with the captain (Ahmed Musa) and the coach (Austin Eguavoen), I delivered a message from CACOVID and the message is that, for every goal that is scored, the team will receive the naira equivalent of $20,000 so far, you have earned for yourself the naira equivalent of $120,000.
“We held a CACOVID meeting again because everyone is overjoyed for everything you’ve done so far, CACOVID has asked me to raise the ante.
“From the round of 16, for every goal scored, you will earn for yourselves as a team the naira equivalent of $50,000.
“Also, Femi Otedola, who is a member of CACOVID, has asked me to tell you that if you lift the trophy, he has in the bank for you, the naira equivalent of $250,000. This is just the beginning and I can assure you that if you win your round of 16 games, another promise might be made.”

The Princess graduated with a distinction (4.63/5.0 GPA) from the department of History and international studies, under the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies.
According to information on the school’s official website, the former Miss Oyo State is the best Masters student from 2019/20 set, as well as the best student in her institute, making her the first student to graduate with a distinction from the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies since its establishment in 2017.
The monarch and other family members on Thursday, January 20, attended her convocation ceremony at the University and took to his Instagram page to celebrate his daughter.
