Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Shan George, has berated people who publicize their acts of giving.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, December 29th, the thespian noted that she has no respect for people who announce it when they help the needy.

According to her, charity and altruistic acts should be done secretly without anyone knowing.

“Abeg feel free to reason am as you like oo, as for me I have no single respect for anyone who doesn’t keep their cameras at home while helping the needy”, she wrote.

The former BBNaija housemate made this submission in a tweet shared via her verified Twitter account on Tuesday, March 2.

According to her, people have different flows and streams of income, in the same vein, people also have different financial commitments.

The 25-year-old entrepreneur stated emphatically that people should not expect her to give generously and go beyond her financial capacity because she wants to imitate other celebrities. In her defense, she said they don’t make their money the way she makes hers.
