Actress, Jemima Osunde slams follower who criticized her for saying she loves Korean Drama
Nollywood actress, Jemima Osunde has blasted a follower who criticized her for saying she loves watching Korean Drama.
She had taken to Twitter to make this confession when the follower attacked her for saying she loves K-drama despite being a Nollywood actor.
According to the follower, there’s no point for Nigerians to watch Nollywood movies when Nollywood actors themselves prefer Korean movies.
“Why should ordinary Nigerians bother to even watch Nigerian movies when the actors themselves prefer K-drama? Isn’t that funny!” the follower commented.
Responding, Jemima slammed the follower over his line of thinking and asked him to block her on Twitter.

A Nigerian Twitter user has shared a grandmother’s priceless reaction after she met her great-grandson for the first time.
The man identified as Obinna Nwosu, who shared the photos which captured the priceless moment on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, revealed that the elderly woman, who is over 90 years old, shed tears of joy on seeing her great grand-son.
According to him, she is his wife’s grandma and the meeting took place when they visited her hometown for Christmas.

UNILAG student calls out Davido for refusing to pay 1 million Naira for stuffed dummy he bought from him since 2020
A clothing wears vendor has called out singer, Davido for allegedly refusing to pay the sum of 1 million Naira he owes him since 2020.
According to the vendor who is a student of the University of Lagos, Davido bought a pink stuffed dummy from him in Dec of 2020 and told him he couldn’t pay right away because at the time, he’d exceeded his transfer limit for the day.
The vendor, with username, Mastermindwears on IG revealed that Davido promised to pay as soon as possible but it’s been over a year and all efforts to get the singer to pay has been futile.
Mastermind, in his callout, revealed that he has reached out to Davido’s manager and a member of Davido’s team who introduced him to the singer, but neither has given him a favourable response. Mastermind also says he’s been blocked so he can’t reach out.
He stated that a member of Davido’s team even tried to deny that the singer ever bought anything from him. On his Instagram, he shared proof of the product Davido bought from him and also shared photos of Davido’s daughter playing with the dummy and screenshots of videos posted online by Davido’s team with the dummy in the background.
He pleaded with Davido to pay him so that he can settle his needs at school and take care of his mother.

A Cotonou-based Nigerian Pastor recently took to his Facebook page to share photos of the supposed “angel” he says was captured on camera in his church some days back.
The clergyman identified as Pastor Ekuma Uche Philips who shared that he has never seen a thing like that in his life, stated that the ‘Angel’ was caught on camera during his church’s cross-over service on December 31, at exactly 12:13am.

Woman sets her ex-boyfriend on fire in Abia state after she discovered he was about to marry another woman after he dumped her. (video)
Reports from Abia state is that of a woman identified as Oluchi, who set her boyfriend ablaze after discovering he was getting married to another woman, shortly after he dumped her.
According to viral reports from witnesses in the area, as the fire engulfed him, the ex-boyfriend managed to drag Oluchi close to him and she was also engulfed by the flames.
Both of them survived and were taken to the hospital with third degree burns.

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that he looks forward to when he will be “less busy” as his age is telling on him.
The 79-year-old Nigerian Leader said this during an interview with NTA.
The President expressed hope of Nigerians appreciating all he did at the end of his tenure.
Buhari said;
“About my age, I see my colleagues, they are now resting, and I assure you that I look forward to the next 17 months when I too will be less busy.
“The age is telling on me, working now for six, seven to eight hours per day in the office is no joke — there are questions of executive council, memos from as many states as possible to be considered virtually every week. Really, it’s a lot of hard work, but as I’ve said, I asked for it and I cannot complain.
“I have been a governor, I have been a minister, and I’m in my second term as president. So, I’ve gone through all the system and really, what else can I do for this country? I have given my best.”

Youths from the Ijaw community of Delta state have staged a protest in front of Dowen college, Lagos, demanding justice for Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student at the school who was allegedly murdered.
This comes after the Lagos State government exonerated the school and suspects who were initially arrested in connection with the death of the minor, over claims that the report of Sylvester’s post mortem samples did not show any toxic or poisonous substance in his body.
The youths in their numbers stormed the school gate on Thursday, January 6th, carrying placards to express their grievances.

The singer made a guest appearance at the event organized by a non-profit organization against animal extinction, Wild Aid, today January 6.
During the event, a pangolin was placed on Davido’s shoulder for photo ops however he was frightened by the little animal and asked for it to be removed from his body.
In the hilarious video, the 29-year-old singer is seen screaming out of fear as the animal crawled up his arm.
However, the Nigerian music superstar was able to overcome his fear of pangolins as seen in a video he shared on his Instagram story.
He was later seen posing with the animal like a professional animal whisperer.
A while ago, Davido, recently flared up while he was performing at a show when he noticed one of the audience came in with a dog.
In a video that was shared online, the DMW boss was addressing the crowd at the show in Bayelsa when the dog kept barking, disturbing his performance.
Davido then walked up to the fan with the dog and insisted that he leave or he would walk off the stage.
“Hey you. I go commot for this stage o. Carry that dog commot for here joor. Which kind nonsense be that?” Davido said.
