Veteran Nigerian singer, Baba Fryo, has cleared the air on his previous comment about DMW boss, Davido, accusing him of neglecting him when he needed help.
Recall that while reacting to Davido’s 250 million naira donations to orphanages across Nigeria, Baba Fryo made a video to question why Davido gave such a huge amount of money to unknown people but neglected him, a known face, in his trying times.
“Davido gives money to orphanages and inaugurates a five-man committee to distribute that money. Everything sounds funny to me. If I see someone doing good, I appreciate them; I am not saying it is a bad thing. I just want to ask people why someone like me that people know, who cried out; why did they not help the person that they know? It is the people that they do not know or can see their faces that they are helping out with N250m. Let’s all think; will we call that wickedness or ignorance?”, he said in part.
However, in a new video shared on his official Instagram page, the veteran singer claim that his previous was misunderstood and his ‘frenemies’ took advantage of it.
He stated that he’s not against Davido donating to orphanages and preached that entertainers should let love reign among them.
“People misunderstood my words on my previous post about davido my frienenemies took advantages of it”, he captioned the post.

Popular businesswoman, Tania Omotayo has threatened to release CCTV footage of a lady who bought goods from her store with fake alert.
The fashion entrepreneur, in a post she shared on her Insta-stories, urged the lady to reach out to pay off her debt, or she would be exposed.
According to Tania Omotayo, the lady had gone to her store in Abuja, bought goods worth 59,000 naira but the bank later confirmed the alert was fake. It was discovered that she sent a make-believe alert to deceive the attendants that she had paid.
She revealed that CCTV captured the lady’s face and threatened to post the video in few hours if the she doesn’t reach out to pay up.
In her words,
“To the lady that went to our store in Abuja and bought clothes worth N59,000 the bank has confirmed the alert was fake. Kindly reach to us to pay debt or we will be posting CCTV footage tomorrow and your face is clearly showing. Please do the needful to avoid being embarrassed”.

“Nowhere does the bible say marry who you love” – Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo sparks debate
Popular Nigerian clergyman, Kingsley Okonkwo has sparked debate with his comment on the bible’s prescription on marriage.
In a post he shared on social media, the Lagos-based pastor noted that the bible never said that people should marry who they love, but rather love who they marry.
“Nowhere does the Bible say Marry Who You Love, it says Love Who You Marry.” He wrote.
His post has however stirred tons of diverse reactions online. While some agreed with the clergyman, others, who concluded that the pastor meant that people should get married to anyone then grow their love, said it would increase broken marriages.
Reacting to the pastor’s post, a Facebook user wrote, “This is the reason marriages of these days end easily. How will u marry someone u don’t love and expecting to love him or her after marriage, is it not medicine after death. Marry who you love biko”.

Elder sister of lady killed a month to her wedding in the Ikoyi building collapse, passes on
The elder sister of Onyinye Enekwe, the newly employed lady who was killed in the Ikoyi building collapse on Monday, November 1, has reportedly passed away.
It can be recalled that Onyinye, whose wedding was slated for next month, only just got employed to work as a personal assistant, few days before the tragic incident occurred.
In a heartbreaking new development, it was gathered that her elder sister, Amaka, has also passed away barely three weeks after Onyinye’s demise.
According to a friend of the deceased’s family who shared this online, Amaka died after a brief illness.
The Facebook user, Blessed Nasa Eriamah, wrote,

English singer, Adele recently burst into tears on stage when she was surprised by her former English teacher, Miss Donald.
This happened during her televised gig “An Audience with Adele” on Sunday, November 22.
The singer was on stage when actress, Dame Emma Thompson, asked if there was anyone who inspired and left a lasting impact in her life as a child.
In response, the singer who had been a student at Chestnut Grove School in Balham, London, mentioned her English teacher, Miss McDonald, and spoke glowingly about her.
According to her, Miss McDonald left a positive mark on her and other students, adding that she reignited her love for books.
She however stated that the teacher left the school when she was 12 years old.
She said, “It was just one year, but she got me really into literature. Like I’ve always been obsessed with English and obviously, now I write lyrics.”
“She was so bloody cool, so engaging, and she really made us care, and we knew that she cared about us and stuff like that. She used to have all these gold bracelets and gold rings. She was bloody cool and so relatable and likeable, that I really looked forward to my English lessons,” she added.
Adele soon discovered that Miss McDonald was in the audience and she burst into tears as her teacher walked down the aisle to the stage and gave her a warm hug.

A Turkey-based Nigerian man is reportedly set to divorce his wife after DNA test result revealed he’s not the biological father of their second son.
According to a Twitter user @igwehachebe, the wife is an Abuja based medical doctor and was dating a married man before she got married to her husband.
It’s said that their son looked exactly like the wife’s married lover, which made the man suspicious, so had a DNA test done on the boy.
However, when the result came back, his suspicions were confirmed as he discovered that he’s not the biological father of his supposed son.
The boy reportedly belongs to the married man the wife was dating before she got hitched to her husband.
Narrating the story, the Twitter user wrote,

Model who married herself divorces herself barely 3 months after because she’s ‘met someone else’
A Brazilian model and influencer who got married to herself sometime in September 2021, is set to divorce herself barely three months after.
The 33-year-old model, Cris Galera, made headlines weeks ago when she legally tied the knot with herself. At the time, she rocked a wedding dress and posed in front of a Catholic church in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
On her decision to marry herself, she had said she was tired of relying on men, adding that she was embracing being alone and wasn’t “disappointed” she didn’t have a groom.

It was early Christmas for some commuters in San Diego, Southern California, USA, on Friday, November 19th, as an armored truck spewed cash all over a freeway when one of its doors burst open.
According to a report by CBS 8 news, the incident, which took place in Carlsbad at 9:15 a.m., brought traffic to a standstill as drivers stopped their cars on the freeway to pick up cash that was strewn all over the blacktop.

Davido’s crew members reportedly get into a fight at a club in Dubai (Videos)
Celebrated Nigerian singer, Davido‘s crew members are reported to have gotten into a physical fight at a club in Dubai.
According to reports, trouble bloomed when someone at the club brought out his phone to make a video recording of the singer and his crew members, which the singer didn’t find funny.
Despite several warnings, the clubgoer continued making the video which then later sparked an outburst. It was also reported that a number of people were injured before police arrived at the scene and made some arrests.
An eyewitness said,
This happened at a club in Dubai. Some patrons got to the club and ordered a lot of drinks. Davido got in and ordered just one Azul and Don Julio. Then these guys bought more drinks and brought out their phones to record. The club’s bouncer approached them and askd them to stop recording sating Davido didn’t like it. An argument ensued and a fight broke out between Davido’s crew and these patrons. One of the patrons collapsed after a bottle was planted on his head. The police intervened but some of the female club goers created a scene outside the club as they claimed Davido’s gathered men seized their phones for recording the fight.

Popular Nigerian singer and man of the moment, Davido has given his fans, colleagues and friends an update on his N250million donations to orphanages.
Recall that the father of three had announced that he would be giving away the 200 million naira he raised from his friends for his birthday to charity, with an additional 50 million naira from his personal funds.
In a post he shared on his Instagram page moments ago, Davido revealed he had sent his own 50 million naira to the account as promised.
He shared a screenshot showing the bank balance and revealed more details regarding the disbursement of funds will be shared soon.

The clergyman who made this assertion while preaching in his church recently, gave reasons behind his statement and said a wealthy man would never switch on his phone in church.

“Anyone whose phone rings in church is a poor man; his thinking is poor. Rich people don’t switch on their phones in church because they don’t want anybody to disturb them.
But poor people switch it on because they want alert; It is a sign of poverty. You will never see a wealthy man switch on his phone in church, he will say, “I want to hear something that will help improve my life”. Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has replied a lady who expressed her fears that his 250 million naira birthday donations to orphanages across the country, may never get to them.
Recall that the superstar singer who was able to raise N200million from his friends and fans towards his birthday, added 50 million from his personal funds and donated it to orphanages across Nigeria.
However, a lady identified as @soboimari on micro-blogging platform, Twitter noted that when her mum heard the news she revolted, stating that the money wont get to the children because of the corruption of welfare officers.
According to her, her mum insisted that welfare officers steal.
“I told my mum what Davido did and I’ve never seen her revolt so passionately against something. She said the money wont get to the children cos welfare officers steal all. I hate Nigeria she said it’s so bad that nurses never want to leave welfare homes when they’re posted there”.
