Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ star, Angel has assured her fans that brand endorsements would soon start coming in for her.

Angel in a live video on Instagram, advised her fan not to kill themselves to get her gifts.

The reality star stated that she only needs their support because she knows that very soon, brands will start coming to her with business proposals and endorsements.

In her words;

“Don’t go and…what’s it called? Kill yourselves. Do what you can and honestly what I need is your support when the brands start coming in”.

A young Nigerian man has narrated his encounter with a group of friends at a bar, who tried to poison their friend’s drink in his absence.

Narrating the incident, the man identified as Sammy warned people to be weary of people they call friends. According to him, the victim while in the company of his friends, left his drink to pee, and before he returned, his friends had already spiked his drink.

Sammy who was seated on another table close to the group of friends and saw everything happening, said when the friend who had gone to pee returned, he tried to stop him from taking the drink, but he took offence and ignored his warnings.

“Went to a bar after the close of work to chill a bit before heading home (Thanks to Lagos Traffic). Sitting directly opposite me on a round table were a group of friends numbering about 6, drinking and gisting.

One of them stood up to go pee while he left his glass filled drink behind. A thought hit me and i had my eyes fixed at the table as if i was waiting for something to happen.

Lo and behold, one of them spiked his glass with a substance while the other four were looking out for he who went to pee. I was shocked and confused. What just happened ? I asked myself. The dude who went to pee came around and sat back down.

They continued their gist as if nothing had happened and they were all laughing. The dude who went to pee picked up his drink about to take a sip when i quickly stood up, ran towards the table and smacked the drink right off his hand.

He was confused and wondering what just happened. I tried to tell him not to drink from that glass, he yelled at me, pushed me on my chest and asked if i was mad. The others joined him in assaulting me for my act.

While i tried to explain to him what had happened, he wouldn’t even hear me out. He was all over the place screaming and banging on the table threatning to deal with me while his friends were doing same.

The bar manager came around and pleaded with me to step out, which i did. I paid for my drinks and left. But before i took my leave, i told the bar manager what i saw and asked him to save the dude’s life from his friends. We have to be careful out there with those we call our friends and please don’t walk away from your drink. Its dangerous!!!”

Lola Omotayo-Okoye, wife of popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has dished out an hilarious marriage advice to her fans and followers.

The mother of two took to her Insta-stories on Wednesday, October to ‘advise’ wives on what they can do when their husbands leaves clothes on the floor.

“If your husband leaves his clothes on the floor it means he doesn’t want them. It’s OK to throw them in the trash.” She wrote.

After dishing out the sarcastic advice Lola promised to subsequently share more marriage tips and advice.

In other news, popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye of the defunct music group, Psquare has narrated how he met his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.

According to the father of two, he met his wife, Lola through Psquare’s former manager, who gave her their CD to listen to.

In an interview with UK-based Nigerian media personality Adesope Olajide, Peter revealed Lola fell in love with their songs and ensured that they always performed at every function the agency she was working with organizes.

Speaking further he also revealed his wife Lola, initiated Psquare’s first performance in Lagos.

However after their relationship with their former manager went sour, Peter said they had to find a way to establish a new relationship with Lola who was working at Anthony in Lagos at that time.

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Eniola Akinbo better known as Niyola has opened up on why she left Banky W’s record label, EME.

The 35-year-old started her professional music career in 2005 and in 2012 signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment, but later she quietly exited the label.

The ‘Toh bad’ crooner in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo finally disclosed why she left EME.

According to her, the record label wanted to promote her based on her sex appeal as a woman, and she wasn’t comfortable with.

“When a female artiste wants to do music, the first thing any man will think of as a business man is be sexy…I know I’m sexy but I am also smart, I love God but it is also important to find a person or people who understands that….

I think that to be fair on the label, a lot of times, they just didn’t see it, they are business men and did things as far their knowledge carried them…I should have been marketed as who I was and not just as a girl that is pretty and that can sing.

Leaving EME wasn’t a happy event….it was not happy in the sense that when you invest time, your blood and all into something, you want to see it yield results …but it didn’t happen as expected…….it was sad for me cos I feel I should have done enough more while there…we are still friends now though, I am friends with everyone”, she said.

Talent Manager, Kara has sent a public message to Big Brother Naija star, Tega after the latter cried out about being trolled on social media.

It was earlier reported that the former BBNaija ‘shine ya eye housemate’ deactivated her Instagram page, after she expressed her frustration over everything she has been subjected to due to her participation in the reality show.

Tega in her tweet admitted that she is not perfect, but added that she is done with negativity, being bullied online and being judged constantly.

Reacting to Tega’s post Kara noted that the mother of one cannot been done with the criticism she’s receiving from netizens unless the public genuinely forgives her.

“You behaved abdominally as a married woman on national TV and the arrogance you showed on the topic claiming scripts and possible influence after the show…what did you expect? You think people would accept your behavior and say nothing.

“You cant be done accepting the telling off from people until they forgive you… Be humble”, Kara’s post reads in part.

How a commercial driver constantly delivers innocent passengers to kidnappers — Police

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested a driver for allegedly conspiring with criminal gangs to kidnap the passengers he genuinely loaded from a motor park.

Parading the suspect before newsmen, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Frank Mba, said the driver, who “delivers” innocent citizens to kidnappers, operates on the major highways in the North East and North West in contact with multiple kidnapping gangs.

“What he does is that sometimes, he goes to the motor park, present his vehicle and pretends to be an innocent hardworking transporter.

He will patiently wait for passengers to board his vehicle and once he has enough of these passengers, he moves from the park.

He establishes communication with members of other kidnapping gangs and bandits along his way and once he gets to a comfortable area, these gang members will intercept his vehicle and kidnap all his passengers,” he said.

The suspect was among the 34 suspects, consisting of 32 males and two females arrested by the police over various criminal offences.

Nigerian Media personality, Noble Igwe has provided an insight into why organizers of BBNaija allegedly blacklisted Efe after he won the reality show.

Recall that Efe secured 57.61 per cent of votes to emerge winner of the 2017 Big Brother Naija ‘See Goobe’ reality TV show. The Warri-born rap artist beat Bisola, who became the 1st runner up with 18.54 per cent of the vote at the grand finale.

However, one can arguably note that EFe hasn’t really hit the ground running with either his music or his reality TV career and fans cooked up a theory that he might have offended a higher power.

Igwe served a response after a Twitter user asked why Multichoice has allegedly shut Efe out even though he has “apologized and tried to make amends.”

According to Noble, Efe sat in his car and asked for the head of Multichoice to meet him before he comes out.

A Nigerian lady presumed to be an acquittance of BBNaija star, Tega, has taken to Twitter to raise alarm over her safety as she reveals that she (Tega) has been unreachable.

This comes after Tega deactivated all her social media accounts and stated that she is done with the continued cyberbully and judgement from Nigerians.

It’s no news that the married housemate has been on the receiving end of heavy criticism over her make-out sessions with her co-housemate, Boma, while she was on the reality show.

In reaction, she took to her Twitter account on Tuesday, October 5, to express her frustrations and deactivated all her social media accounts.

A Twitter user with handle @Cracylyn has now revealed that Tega has not only deactivated her accounts, but also dissociated from every one.

She tweeted, “Tega deactivated from social media and from everyone around her. We can’t even reach her and I hope she is safe. 2000 comments and 1900 are people threatening and abusing her.”

In other news, the former Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye housemate’, Saga has disclosed that it’s been hard for him sleeping without his love interest, Nini.

Saga and Nini were close friends in the Big Brother house, the duo did everything together; eating, sleeping on the same bed which made fans and viewers speculate that there’s a chemistry between the two.

Saga, speaking on how life had been without his in-house company, Nini in an interview with Dele Momodu, admitted that it has not been easy and he even finds it difficult to sleep at night.

“We’re still friends. We don’t even talk as much now because right now, she’s gone to another place and there’s so much going on and I have not even settled to understand what is going on in my life at the moment. So we’re just friends,” he said.

“To be honest, I’m missing Nini a lot. I cannot deny that. It’s hard for me to sleep at night without her at times because we’ve been sleeping on the same bed for night straight weeks in the house. So, it’s a very sharp change. But then, I have time to adjust to it.” He said.

A fan had asked the Big Brother Naija star about his relationship with the season 6 winner during an Instagram live session.

Speaking on why she had her bath in the same bathroom with the guy in an interview with Toke, the 21-year-old noted that prior to the show they were told that the bathroom was a communal bathroom.

She added that she while the other ladies were shy to shower with the guys, she on the other hand she had her bath with the guys because she’s comfortable in her body and doesn’t ascribe her value to her body.

According to her, she doesn’t ascribe her value to her body because her value comes from knowing that she is smart and funny.

According to Angel, she is comfortable in her body and doesn’t ascribe her value to her body. She revealed this while speaking in a recent interview with Toke Makinwa following the finale of the sixth season of reality show.

Angel shared that she knows her value comes from knowing that she is smart and funny, among other things. She went on to point out that it was stated that the bathroom was a communal bathroom, and while some people shied away from it, she went on with it.

In the video, the self-acclaimed “Boss Lady” who donned a glamorous bodysuit, was filmed walking up a staircase with her bare bum on full display.

She played a trending song “See small yansh dey shake o” in the background and captioned it, “Says Who😂😂 Small Bum Bum No Dey Shake Anything🙈”

However, her fans and followers were unimpressed by her ‘surgically enhanced’ butt and rebuked her for posting the video on the internet.

Some fans pointed out that something was poking out of her left bum and opined that it was the silicon that was jutting out.

The mum of one was advised to get a refund from the doctor who performed the surgery because he did a poor job.

UNIBEN senior lecturer arrested by school authorities after being accused of raping a female student and locking her inside his office (Video)

A senior lecturer in the University of Benin had been apprehended by the school’s security guards after he was accused of raping a female student and locking her up in his office for hours after the deed.

According to reports, the lecturer, one Dr Bode Ekundayo, in the English and Literature department, locked up the female student in his office when she visited him to register for her final year project on October 5, 2021.

It is alleged that he raped her and refused to let her go for hours. The said victim, who is a 400 level student, is reported to have sent messages to a friend who then reported to security guards in the school and went to rescue the student.

The victim was then rushed to the school’s health centre.

One video shows Dr Bode pacing outside the health centre after the victim was admitted there.

Another video shows him being questioned by school staff in front of the health center.
