Popular crossdresser, James Brown has stirred hilarious reactions on social media after he stormed an event with his ‘maidens’.

The controversial transvestite attended the movie premiere of “The Ghost And The Tout Too” on Sunday, September 6, and donned a purple Ankara skirt and blouse outfit.

However, he decided to pull off a twist by attending the event with two maidens who sprayed red roses on the floor ahead of him.

The self acclaimed “Princess of Africa”, in the video he shared on his Instagram page, could be seen walking like a princess as the maidens dressed in matching outfits prepared the way for him.

James Brown’s stunt has generated mixed reactions online as some netizens hailed him for acting like a princess, while others compared him to controversial socialite, Pretty Mike, who is known for pulling outrageous stunts at events.

The Grammy award winner joined Justin Bieber on stage to perform the remix of his hit song, Essence at Jay Z’s Made In America Concert in the United States.

The mammoth crowd at the event went wild the moment the super star singers mount the stage to perform the ‘Essence’ remix which was released few weeks ago.

Popular Nollywood actress, Mimi Orjiekwe is of the opinion that not everyone is destined to find or experience love.

The mother of one in a recent Instagram post dashed the hopes of single people hoping that one day they’ll find their heartthrobs.

According to Mimi, the fact that someone is yet to find the right person is not a guarantee that they’ll eventually find love.

She noted that being single is just a status and not destiny.

In her words,

In other news, Mimi has taken to social media to share her concern over women who end up marrying classless men.

International music star, Wizkid has reacted after media personality, Toke Makinwa, revealed that he used to be an ‘errand boy’ in the early days of his career.

Toke Makinwa, in a recent chat with Chude Jideonwo, narrated how Wizkid ran errands for DJs at a radio station she worked in years ago, for his songs to be played on air. According to her, people who think the singer is arrogant are unaware of the effort he put into becoming the renowned musician he is today.

“You don’t know the years Wizkid put into becoming who he is today. Young newbies try music for a year or two and are frustrated because it is not working…dude, when I tell people.

I was at Rhythm and Wizkid used to carry speakers and he will be sent by DJs to buy Amala and he will do it, he was the studio rat, just help me play my song he will say. People look at him now and say he is arrogant not knowing the work he had put into this journey.

“It is the same way people can look at me now and say I got it all easy but if you have been following my career, and seeing the hardwork I put in, you should ask me what I am doing with my life if by now I am not enjoying all I am enjoying now from my hard work.”

Shortly after the interview went viral, Wizkid to his Snapchat to share a funny remark about how everyone is crazy. Although, he didn’t mention Toke’s name, there are speculations that he was reacting to Toke’s statement about his hustling days.

Annie Idibia’s brother, Wisdom has taken to social media to call out 2baba’s brother, Charles accusing him of calling his mother ‘all sort of evil names’.

Recall that after the Nollywood actress, Annie publicly dragged her husband, 2baba for allegedly disrespecting her, by sleeping in the same house with his ex, Pero, his brother Charles defended him and spilled some shocking details about Annie.

Charles in an Instagram post attacking Annie accused her of using “juju” on his brother and alleged that Annie’s mum helps her in carrying out her plans.

Well, Annie’s brother, Wisdom who noted that he’ll never tolerate any insult on his parents especially his mum replied Charles and demanded he apologizes for calling his parents demeaning names.

If you claim you love your brother truly I don’t think you will be the one speaking in his place. Ibrahim, in a post he shared on Twitter, revealed that he just discovered that the person whom he considered a friend blocked his chances of being casted for the role.

According to the 37-year-old actor, the ‘friend’ talked the movie producer out of considering him for the job.

He added that he shared it online because he knows the ‘friend’ would see it, and peradventure, he/she wants to pretend in the future, he (Ibrahim) would refer to the tweet as evidence of his/her betrayal.

Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda has reacted after he tested negative for COVID-19 in New York, USA only days after he was said to have tested positive in Ghana.

Recall that the ‘Cash App’ crooner was deported and fined by a circuit court in Accra, Ghana after he was found guilty of attacking a medical doctor at a quarantine center in the country.

Bella was said to have tested positive to Covid-19 upon arrival in Ghana and had to remain in quarantine. He faulted the result and insisted that he was tested in Nigeria and his result came out negative.

In the process of insisting he get’s discharged from quarantine, he assaulted a Ghanaian doctor and was deported and banned from entering the county for three months.

Few hours after he was deported Bella Shmurda travelled to New York, USA and tested negative for the virus.

Taking to his Instagram stories to express surprise, he hinted that there was a foul play with the test result from Ghana.

The national President of Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has stated that Nollywood is not a dumping ground for evictees.

The actor noted this in an Instagram post yesterday, Sunday September 6th.

Although it’s not clear if Emeka’s post is a shade directed at evicted Big Brother Naija housemates who expressed their desire to venture into acting following their eviction from the house, his statement has however stirred reactions on social media.

Tega angered a lot of viewers while in the house because of her “romantic acting” with fellow evictee, Boma.

Nigerians frowned at the fact that she was getting into questionable positions with Boma, despite the fact that she is married.

Now that she’s out of the house, one would expect that her comment section will be filled with a lot of negative words from trolls.

However, OAP ShopsyDoo, has asked Nigerians to remember her mental health, no matter the actions she took while in the house.

Shine Ya Eye housemates, Whitemoney and Emmanuel were spotted having a conversation recently with the former advising the latter to stick with his love interest, Liquorose so as to keep surviving evictions.

Whitemoney is heard telling Emmanuel to ensure that he sticks with Liquorose and make sure that she’s happy so as to survive evictions. WM also tells Emmanuel to avoid the Angel route or at least make sure that Liqourose doesn’t notice any vibe between them.

Both Emmanuel and Liquorose survived Sunday night evictions with neither of the two appearing at the bottom six of housemates with the least votes. Newly evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Boma has in a now deleted tweet, tendered an apology to viewers and fans of the reality TV show over his escapades with a married woman, Tega during his time in the house.

The actor was among the four housemates who were evicted on Sunday’s “King-sized” eviction episode. It’s no news that during his time in the house, viewers had consistently aired their disappointments over his relationship with married woman, Tega.

From time to time, the duo were spotted kissing and engaging in hot romance indiscriminately during their time on the show and this was so much to the displeasure of viewers.

Following his eviction, the actor says he takes responsibility for his actions… he has however, as at the time of filing this report, deleted the tweet.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolani Baj has reacted to a user who said that newly evicted housemate, Tega’s fans are no more than she has following her time in the Big Brother house.

Tolani Baj was one of the housemates of the fifth edition of the lockdown show but her time in the house was short-lived after she was evicted in the sixth week of the reality TV show.

Well, tonight saw the eviction of married woman, Tega from the show where herself and three other housemates were removed from the show after spending a couple of weeks in Biggie’s house.

In reaction to Tega’s eviction, a Twitter user took to the platform to say that the mother of one is acting as though she’s about to meet so many fans after her time on the time when in fact, the number of fans she has are even fewer than that of former housemate, Tolani Baj, who supposedly doesn’t have much fans from the show.

Lagos slay queen busted for conniving with her boyfriend to send fake alert (Video)

A Lagos big girl has been humiliated and apprehended, after she connived with her boyfriend to send a fake alert to a Gold Vendor, following a purchase.

However, the girl was busted when the vendor tracked the girl to her house and took a military man there to demand “real payment”.

The vendor shared the video and wrote ;

Pls, refer to the above subject matter. Kindly be informed of the trending fake bank credit alerts where some dubious and criminal minded customers uses to cook and prepare fake credit alerts by using and editing the previous USSD messages which they might have received on their phones.
The Public should take several note of this and beware of the criminal act, as a customer named Miss CHIDINMA OHAZULIKE in Lagos has just been caught after much investigation and interrogation that took the security personnel a whole month, CHIDINMA admitted that she committed the criminal act and that it’s her boyfriend who did the transaction (fake alert)to Rhemmygold company but to many other small and large scale businesses.
We are equally aware that some bad elements are also into the same attitude, which I advice they should desist from such because y’all know every day is for the thief and one day is for owner. Following tonight’s Sunday eviction in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show with housemates, Tega, Boma, Peace and Michael out of the show, viewers have reacted to housemate, Yousef remaining in the house.

For some viewers, Yousef doesn’t seem to be a strong contender of the game as his fan base don’t seem to be prominent on social media and the content he drives in the house as well, doesn’t look like he’d have lots of fans rooting for him.

Well, tonight’s eviction show has proven Yousef to be a contender of the game as not only did he survive the night’s King size eviction saga but he also didn’t appear amongst the bottom six of housemates with the least votes.

In light of this, viewers have taken to social media to react to Yousef’s prolonged stay in the Big Brother house, see some reactions below,

The love triangle involving Big Brother Naija: Shine Ya Eye housemates, JayPaul, Saskay and Cross may have taken on a new definition after Cross got to discover that JayPaul and Saskay kissed each other.

While Ebuka was addressing this week’s heads of house, he talked to JayPaul about his kiss with Saskay which was to the amusement of most of the housemates and Cross in particular, who’s known to have a thing for Saskay is seen smiling after he was teased about it.

Recall that Cross once addressed himself as a fool for believing Saskay after she denied liking Jaypaul.

In a conversation with Maria and Nini one Sunday night after a fake eviction show, Cross expressed his disappointment.

At the time, the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, had asked about her relationships with Jay Paul and Cross, and she answered, “I like both of them but I’ve made it clear that I’m not interested in any situationships or relationships in the house.”

She also admitted to enjoying the attention that she was getting from both men in the house.

Reacting to the response, later on, Cross said, “She has lied and I have never lied to her. She has never told me. I’m finding out on live TV that she likes Jaypaul and she told me she didn’t like him.”
