Family in Imo state kill and bury their son for being too stubborn

A man identified as Mr Lambert Ukachukwu, his wife and daughter, have been arrested by men of the Imo state police command, after they allegedly connived and killed their last child, Chukwuebuka.

The 28-year-old was allegedly murdered on Saturday, September 17, 2021, for being stubborn and giving his family sleepless nights.

According to reports, Chukwuebuka was hit with a wood and was left to die, after which he was buried in a shallow grave close to his residence.

Luck, however ran out on the family as they were confronted by the suspecting youths of Duruegwele community in Imo, about the whereabout of the deceased.

The father had informed them that Chukwuebuka traveled to Ghana.

But after pressing further and threatening to burn down the culprit’s house, the daughter confessed to the crime.

It was learned that the couple and their daughter have been arrested, while the deceased immediate older brother called Philip is on the run.

The police officer who shot an 18-year-old lady identified as Monsurat Ojuade, has been dismissed from service and would be arraigned in court soon.

Monsurat was shot dead at her home in Ijeshatedo, Lagos state on Saturday, September 11th and her family took to social media to cry for justice.

The police in a statement signed by the Lagos State Police Command PRO, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu has revealed that the erring police officer has now been dismissed from the force.

The statement reads,

“This is to inform the general public that Sgt Samuel Philipps who was tried for the shooting incident of 11th September, 2021 that led to the death of Monsurat Ojuade has been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force. He was dismissed after conclusion of his orderly room trial. The suspect will be charged to court today for murder.

Recall that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had promised that the matter would be properly investigated and that justice would be served. This action is, therefore, done in fulfillment of that promise.

The Commissioner of Police further sympathizes with the bereaved family, and reiterates his earlier promise that justice would be done in this case.”

A Nigerian man who works as a driver has taken to his page on Twitter to share screenshots of the messages he received from the husband of a couple he’d rendered his services to earlier.

According to the user with handle, @thscalababoi_25, a couple booked his ride recently and after he ended their trip, the husband asked his wife to excuse them, using the opportunity to get the driver’s number.

Later that night, the husband sent a couple of suggestive messages to the driver which has left him confused and seeking advise on what to do on Twitter.

Nigerian singer and African Giant, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has for the first time, given a sneak peek into his Lekki Mansion.

The Grammy award winner gave Architectural Digest – an American monthly magazine founded in 1920 whose principal subjects are interior design and landscaping – a tour around his Lagos home, revealing it was in the mansion he created his Grammy-winning album ‘Twice as Tall’.

According to Architectural Digest, which has also done features on the homes of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Diddy etc, Burna Boy’s home is a two-storey building located on a serene 13,000-square-foot land in Lekki. It is a seven-bedroom home with a private cinema, lounges, a game room, plenty of garage space and tall windows, a recording studio, a gym, and a swimming pool that begins inside and drains outside.

Chidi shared the chats in a bid to inspire people who feel it might be hard for them to thrive in a place where it seems impossible. Sharing the chats, he narrated how Tems at the time, had asked that he sent her music to a music label executive which would be of help to her career.

Chidi did as requested but the executive said it’ll be hard for her type of music to thrive in the Nigerian music scene or Africa at large. Well, fast forward to years later, she’s rolling with big names in the global music industry and has gained tremendous momentum than she probably thought she would have three years back.

The lady whose voice was in the leaked voice recording said to be the genesis of the fight between actress, Tonto Dikeh and her ex-lover, Prince Kpokpogri has been identified and she has spoken up.

It can be recalled that sometime ago an Instagram blogger released a call recording purportedly between Prince and a lady. In the clip, he admitted to cheating on the actress and enjoying the ‘pussy’ of the said lady.

He spoke ill about the actress while the woman he was on call with mocked her.

Well, the lady has been identified as young Nollywood actress, Merit Gold and she has taken to social media to tender a public apology to Tonto Dikeh.

Merit who shared a photo of herself with the mother of one described her as her role model. According to her, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-lover, Prince Kpokpogri used her in his ploy.

She noted that her conscience has been disturbing her so she had to speak up, she alleged that the politician never loved Tonto Dikeh and was only with her for fame.

Nini who was given a secret task by Biggie to leave the house for 24hrs, left on Tuesday night without the knowledge of other housemates. After all effort to find her proved abortive the housemates concluded that she was probably a fake housemate and had exited the house.

However, her love interest, Saga and Cross insisted that Nini was one of them and not in any way a fake housemate.

Saga in a conversation with Pere on Thursday morning after Nini returned to the house, noted that if the housemates speculation about Nini being a fake housemate was true, it would have messed with his mental health.

She wrote,

Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser and former best friend to actress, Tonto Dikeh, Bobrisky has shared a subtle shade on his page moments after the actress and her ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri’s breakup scandal featured a new twist.

Recall that on Thursday morning, Nigerian woke up to the news that Kpokpogri filed a lawsuit against Tonto Dikeh, seeking N10,000,000,000 (Ten Billion Naira) as compensation for the mental trauma, emotional stress and severe damage that he suffered due to an invitation by the Department of State Services. The actress subsequently reacted to his lawsuit, saying that her lawyers are not hiding and can be easily be reached for any lawsuit. In a post on her IG page, she also alleged that Kpokpogri has popular exotic dancer, Jane Mena’s old and recent sex tapes and that of other women. ICYMI

A video of Big Brother Naija housemate, Saga blushing uncontrollably as his love interest, Nini gave him a peck on his cheek has stirred reactions online.

The talented artist whose close friend, Nini was away from the house for 24 hours on Biggie’s instruction was giving her cold shoulders this morning following her return.

An angry Saga wouldn’t talk to Nini since she wasn’t going to speak about her sudden disappearance from the house. Recall that, when Big Brother gave Nini the secret task to leave the house for 24 hours he forbade her from telling her colleagues about the task, he instructed her to feign ignorance when asked.

The moment Nini noticed her love interest was keeping his distance she walked up to him and gave him a peck on his cheek.

Initially Saga kept a straight face but eventually as Nini continued to plant pecks on his cheek he smiled and had a grin on his face.
