Obi Cubana Speaks on Humble Beginning, Says He Met Wife While Broke

Obi Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana spoke on his humble beginnings during an Instagram live session.

The nightlife entrepreneur who has been the subject of a lot of discourse since the lavish burial of his mother in Oba, Anambra state confessed that he was broke when he started dating his wife, Ebere Iyiegbu.

Obi Cubana disclosed that he was living in a one-bedroom apartment in Abuja with about three other people when himself and his lawyer wife kicked off their romantic relationship.

The businessman added that despite the fact that he was broke, they were happy as the relationship was never about money.

The couple dated for three years before making things official by tying the knot. Afterwards, they moved to a three-bedroom apartment and had their first two sons there

While confessing that money makes marriage easier, he was quick to point out that it doesn’t guarantee a happy marriage. Peace he stated was the most important for him in a relationship.

Big Brother Naija Ex-housemate, Niyi Has described his wife as someone who always supports his dreams and goals.

According to Niyi, Initially he had planned not to tell the housemates that he was married, but after bonding with the other guys on the first day I decide to not hide anything.

In an interview with Sunday Scoop, Niyi said, “The first reaction people get when a married man is on Big Brother Naija is surprise. Beyond that, it is a reality show where one is supposed to live one’s life without any reservation, whether one is married or single. The major reason I went for the competition was because I saw a great platform through which I could project my craft and business (to the world). I never thought about being bashed for being a married man on the show. It was never an issue for me. I initially planned not to tell housemates about my marital status but after bonding with the other guys on the first day of the show, I decided to completely be myself and not hide anything.”

“My wife is a very supportive woman. She has always supported my goals and dreams. On the day the last season started, about three people called me and asked why I didn’t give BBN a chance. We (couple) were doing well on Tik Tok then. And I asked her if what she felt about me going for the Big Brother show. However, she was not familiar with the show and I also hadn’t followed it for some time. She wife thought it was a great idea and she encouraged me to give it a try.”

We witnessed the moment Boma, cleared Queen over their relationship status as he told her he is in no relationship with her.

Boma, who had been suspected to be in a relationship with Queen, finally cleared the air during and after the party last night.

It all began when Boma was dancing with other female housemates and Queen had to take him by the hand as she pulled him away from them.

Reacting to the incident immediately, Boma who felt insulted told Queen he’s in no relationship with her and has no right to drag him away.

Farida Fassasi, widow of late veteran singer, Sound Sultan, has taken to her social media page to raise alarm after alleged scammers hacked his social media accounts and took over his pages.

This comes weeks after the singer lost the battle to cancer on July 11, which shook the entertainment industry.

Farida warned people to disregard any message from the accounts because it has been hijacked by fraudsters.

Nigerian singer, Olymax, has taken to social media to raise alarm after his fiancée allegedly absconded with his car, phone and emptied his bank account.

Olymax, in a series of post he shared on his Instastories, revealed that he and the lady dated in secondary school, and reconnected again in December 2020. According to him, he proposed to her in February 2021 and she accepted his marriage proposal.

The singer alleged that all of a sudden, the lady ran away from their 2 bedroom apartment in Ikotun, Lagos state, and took his car – a Lexus ES350, Iphone 12 and withdrew all the money in his bank account.

He said he has reported the case to the Police station but the lady refused to show up at the station after being invited.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Whitemoney fled his room after the Jacuzzi party on Friday night to avoid Princess who was waiting for him to cuddle her.

On Friday night while they made dinner, Princess loudly declared that she was horny and wants to make love. Well, after the Jacuzzi party the ‘horny Princess’ shot her shot at Mazi but was curved.

Whitemoney had to leave his room to the Red room to prevent anything from happening between them. On seeing Whitemoney in their room, Angel and Arin asked why he fled his room and in response White briefed them on the situation on ground.

“Princess is on the bed waiting for me to come and cuddle her. Since both of us share the same room, i cannot avoid her and i don’t want to hurt her feelings. I want to stay away from the room until I confirm she is sleeping”, he said.

Angel however advised Whitemoney to openly tell Princess that he doesn’t want to cuddle or better still fulfil her desires and cuddle her as the ‘sugar daddy’ of the house.

“Don’t allow that girl to wait. Just go and tell her that you don’t want to cuddle so she’ll not stay up waiting for you. It’s not nice.” Angel said.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Nini and the current Deputy Head of House, Maria were involved in an heated argument on Friday night, over Whitemoney’s kitchen ban.

Recall that the current Head of House, Pere with the support of his deputy, Maria relieved Whitemoney of kitchen duties, alleging that it is his strategy and is bad for the house.

Just a few days after White’s kitchen sack, it started to take a toll on the housemates.. It’s either they are eating food that wasn’t properly cooked or sometimes starve because there was no food in the kitchen.

Boma also confirmed to Pere on Friday morning that ever since his decision to relieve Whitemoney of cooking duties, the kitchen was no longer organized.

Last night one of the housemates, Nini was no longer having it and verbally attacked the deputy Head of House, Maria.

According to Nini it’s okay if cooking and ensuring that the housemates are fine is Whitemoney’s strategy, as he’s working hard so he should not be stopped.

“If it is his strategy, it’s fine, if we don’t get to nominate him, it’s fine… play your game and let him play his… We no dey chop since whitemoney go. If it’s is strategy so what? Angel who is not pleased with the way the former member of the United States Military has been addressing the house since he emerged Head of House on Monday complained about him to Arin.

The successful Big Brother Naija graduate made this revelation in response to a question her colleague, Tochi asked on micro blogging platform, Twitter demanding an honest answer.

“If you remove 10million from your saving since January, how much will remain??? Talk true ,” Tochi asked.

In response the self-styled ‘Star girl’ revealed that if N10M is removed from her account she’ll still be left with a whooping sum of 1 billion naira.
