Nigerian comedian, Funnybone, has said he will never bring his love life to social media.
Taking to his Instastories to share why he won’t indulge in social media love, the comedian said people cannot destroy what they do not see. He wrote,

In a really surprising version of events, a quite jealous wife reportedly screwed an engineering nut onto her husband’s penis after she discovered that he’d been cheating on her.
According to information gathered about the bizarre story, the woman, who lives in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, with her husband, allegedly carried out the act while her husband was asleep in a bid to “avenge the betrayal.”
The result of her action was the man’s manhood swelling up to the point where he was no longer able to remove the nut. He eventually had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Doctors at the 5th City Hospital tried to remove the nut from the man’s penis, but failed. They were then left with no option other than to perform surgery to remove the nut.
While the patient was being prepared for surgery, doctors decided to call in Cobra rescuers.
Deputy Chief of Cobra, Eduard Nekhoroshev, said to newsmen that medics called in the use of special tools, like an angle grinder, to perform the gruesome removal.
Eventually, rescuers were able to cut off the nut by carefully slicing the large nut on opposite sides so it fell off. The man remained in hospital under medical supervision following the operation.

Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze has advised ladies to stay away from men who say they will rather buy a car for their mother before buying for their wife.
Freeze gave this advise in reaction to a viral post about a man who bought a car for his mother but didn’t buy any for his pregnant wife who has to trek daily.

Over the past few days, there’s been a viral “crate challenge” trend on social media which sees people climbing up a stack of milk crates in a bid to get past the fragile but dangerous obstacle without falling.
A whopping percentage of the people who’ve partook in the challenge have suffered a bruise or more after failing the challenge and falling off from the stack of crates, there’s even been reported cases of death with some reportedly snapping their necks upon falling or suffering a fatal injury.
Well, following the rampant report of injuries sustained by people partaking in the challenge, social media platform, TikTok has in a new development banned the uploading of videos of the challenge on its platform.
TikTok explained that the challenge is a dangerous activity. All search results for the Challenge has now been deleted by TikTok.
A spokesperson for TikTok said,
TikTok prohibits content that promotes or glorifies dangerous acts, and we remove videos and redirect searches to our Community Guidelines to discourage such content.
‘We encourage everyone to exercise caution in their behavior whether online or off.
‘While the challenge may have started as a joke, it has resulted in some less funny injuries, with it being reported by local news outlets that people are getting hurt due to attempting the challenge.
A doctor, Ben Saldana, warned earlier this week against the challenge, noting how ‘if someone fell from seven crates, lots of things could happen’. He referenced possible broken bones, brain bleeds, concussions and spine injuries, according to the Houston Chronicle.

BBNaija: Shine Ya Eye housemates, Maria, Nini and Peace, made some unflattering remarks about their co-housemate, Angel, during their time in the executive lounge.
The girls had access to the lounge on Friday, August 27, and spent most of their time gossiping about other housemates, however, their main focus was Angel.
During the conversation, Peace complained about the way Angel treats her former love interest, Sammie. According to her, Angel makes Sammie spend all his “Abeg Naira” on her.
PS: Abeg Naira is the currency the housemates spend in the house. It doesn’t have any value outside the house.
Peace said, “What she’s doing to Sammie is really f***ed. I swear to God, it’s really f***ed.”
Maria also spoke about the way Angel flirts with the male housemates including her former bestie, Jackie’s “man”, Michael. She also alleged that Michael doesn’t like Angel at all because he sees her as a prostitute.

“Jackie told me how she felt about Angel being close to Michael. It’s so weird that you will get close to your friend’s man even if when she told you she like him.

A Nigerian lady who happens to be an asthma patient has on her Facebook page, narrated how a security guard denied her entry into a hospital which is in a church premises just because she was putting on a short gown which was slightly above her knee.
The lady, identified as Ngozi Njoku shared in her post that she was distressed at the time of the incident but the security guard was hellbent in not letting her in saying he was acting on the priests’ orders.
Ngozi also shared that as she was chatting with the guard, she began to cry which attracted people around who then came to the scene to question the guard on what was wrong with her dressing.
Concluding her post, Njoku shared that after seeing the doctor, she decided to meet the priest to know why she was initially refused access to the hospital.
She wrote,
I wore a short gown that’s slightly above my knee, to a hospital situated on a church premises, and the security guard told me that I can’t enter because of the way I’m dressed. I told him I’m asthmatic in distress and I need to see the doctor.
He told me that the hospital is under the church, and since it is also in the church premises, so I cannot enter. He also said that those were the priests orders.
I have screamed and cried my eyes out today, and he will pay for my tears. My situation caused a scene at the church and I kept asking people what was wrong with my dressing. They too are angry with him

According to the Dubai realtor, she is not ready to trade her boyfriend with whom she’s in a serious relationship with, for any other guy in the house.
She gave the revelation of having a partner outside the house whilst having a discussion with fellow housemates, Peace and Nini, where she said her boyfriend outside the house is the reason why she’s been trying to balance a mutual relationship with all the guys in the house.
She shared in course of the conversation that she doesn’t want to hurt the guy she’s dating outside the house by dating any guy in the house.

Dr Shola, who recently relocated to the UK, threw a subtle shade at Nigerian ladies and said if he was still in Nigeria, he would have received the conventional boxers, singlets, or sex as birthday gift.
According to him, he is thankful for leaving the shores of Nigeria because he got a Balenciaga footwear as birthday gift this year.

A 29-year-old Ugandan man identified as Dominic Ssemwogerere, has died in a ghastly accident two days after his wedding.
Ssemwogerere and his wife, Josephine Namunju, tied the knot on Saturday, August 21 in an elaborate ceremony.
One day after the wedding, Sunday, August 22 the newly wed man was involved in an accident on his way to their new residence, where he was going to drop their wedding gifts.

His motorbike hit a pothole and swerved into an oncoming vehicle, he was rushed to Mulago Hospital in Kampala where he died in the early hours of Monday, August 23.
Family and friends of the deceased have since taken to social media to mourn him, One Matumbwe Suudi wrote,
“He was introduced on Thursday, wedded on Saturday, knocked down on Sunday and confirmed dead on Monday. He spent only a night in his holy marriage, left his wife, son and the entire fraternity in very shaky moments”.

The late actress is from Eku, Delta State in Southern Nigeria, she was born on May, 23 1957 in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.
Until her death, She began her acting career in 1993, starred in a number of successful Nollywood movies and she was loved in the community. She worked briefly at Ascoline Nigeria Limited, a Dutch Consultant Company before her first movie titled Onome and her debut Yoruba movie was Owo Blow.
Over the years, she has featured in notable Nigerian films such as Sango, a movie scripted by Wale Ogunyemi, produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode and Wale Adenuga’s television series, Super story.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Victor Olaotan, has reportedly died on Thursday, August 26, after a prolonged ailment.
Olaotan, popularly known for his role as Fred Ade-Williams in the long-running soap opera ‘Tinsel’, was involved in a career-ending car accident five years ago and has been bedridden since then.
He had the fatal car crash around Apple Junction, Festac, Lagos, in October 2016 while driving to a movie set. At the time, well meaning Nigerians including billionaire, Femi Otedola, contributed for his medical treatment in Nigeria and Turkey.
However, he was recently flown back to Nigeria because his family could no longer afford his medical expenses, which made his condition deteriorate.
Sadly, the 69-year-old actor passed away yesterday after a five-year long battle for his life.
Confriming his passing to PREMIUM TIMES, his wife, Mrs Olaotan said his five year long suffering has finally come to an end. According to her, everytime they spoke on video call, she could see that he was constantly fighting for his life.
“He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now,” she said.
