Biggie also barred them from competing in the Head of House games for 2 weeks as punishment.
Apparently, they’ll not participate in the Head of House games, they’ll not have access to the Head of House lounge and they’d not also have access to the veto power.
Biggie also gave the whole a light punishment for their continuous infringement of the house rules.
Nigerian human right activist and lawyer, Reno Omokri has advised single men against giving their girlfriends money.
Reno who is popular for his nuggets on social media noted that it’s not a boyfriend’s duty to take up his girlfriend’s financial responsibilities but her father’s duty.
According to him, it’s unwise for a man to allow himself be pressured into financing a woman he’s not married to only because he’s an amorous relationship with her.
Taking to Twitter to share his two cent, he wrote,
“Dear men, When a woman you date tells you she needs money, listen calmly without interrupting, then respond thus, ‘I am sorry, but it seems you mistake me for your father’. Don’t be pressured into financing a woman you are romancing. It is nice. It is not wise”.
This is coming after Reno averred that men who send “urgent 2k” to girls using iPhone 12 are unwise.
Reno described ladies with sophisticated phones and are in the habit of asking young guys for financial assistance are ‘marketers’ and only trying to take advantage of the guys.
He noted that any man who falls for their trap thinking he’s special to them is a fool.

A 23-year-old suspected Armed robber identified as Merit Salvation, has been arrested by the Bayelsa State Police Command, Azikoro Division.
A locally-made pistol and three 9mm ammunition were recovered from the suspect whose arrest was effected in collaboration with youth leaders and vigilantes from Akaba community, in Yenagoa, the state’s capital.
A Bayelsa police spokesperson said;
“On 23rd August 2021, while on patrol at Akaba community at about 0230 hours, Police operatives arrested the suspect one Merit Salvation ‘m’ 23 years, in possession of a locally made pistol and three .9mm ammunition”.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released a statement addressing Big Brother Naija star, Dorathy Bachor’s claims that her house was raided by its operatives.
Recall that the reality show star took to her Instastories earlier today to accuse the anti-graft agency of breaking into her apartment under the guise of searching for a suspected internet fraudster. Read here.
In reaction to her claims, EFCC has now taken to Facebook to explain why they broke into her apartment.
In the statement released this afternoon, the anti-graft agency also said Dorathy wasn’t present when they raided her house, debunking her earlier claims that she was “almost naked and confused”.

“The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been drawn to a post on Instagram by one Dorothy Bachor, alleging that operatives of the Commission broke into her home in the early hours of today, 23rd August, 2021
The Commission can confirm that operatives from the Lagos Command of the Commission, acting on verified intelligence, executed a Search Warrant at a block of flats located in the Lekki area of Lagos on Monday, 23rd August, 2021 during which nine internet fraud suspects were arrested.
Ms. Bachor’s apartment happened to be one of the flats in the building. EFCC operatives had knocked on her entrance door, identified themselves as being from the Commission on a mission to execute a Search Warrant. But they were refused entry, for several minutes by Bachor’s sister. The operatives were left with no choice than to force their way in, lest suspects escape or destroy vital evidence.
It is important to state that law abiding citizens have no reason to refuse the execution of a validly obtained Search Warrant. And, contrary to the information making the rounds in the social media, Ms. Bachor was not present during the operation and the anti- EFCC stories about her coming out half-naked among other fantastical details appear to have been invented to fit the pattern she and other internet-fueled stars so desperately want to push about the EFCC.
It is important to reiterate that nine alleged internet fraud suspects were apprehended in the block of flats housing Ms. Bachor’s apartment.”
A 34-year-old single mother of five, Sabrina Dunigan reportedly lost all her 5 kids to a fire accident on her birthday.
According to reports, Sabrina left home early on Friday morning to drop someone at work only to return to meet her apartment in flames with her children stuck inside.
The sudden fire reportedly started on the second floor of the apartment building in East St. Louis across from the playground at Annette Harris Officer Elementary School.
The county coroner revealed that four of the children were found dead inside the apartment while the fifth one died at the hospital.
The victims have been identified as 2-year-old Loyal Dunigan, 4-year-old Jabari Johnson, 7-year-old twins Heaven and Nevaeh Dunigan and 9-year-old Deontay Dunigan.

In related news, a mother, named Titilayo Adigun, and her four children were burnt to death when a candlelight started a massive fire that burnt their house in Kwara state.
The mother and her five children were sleeping at their home at Ifesowapo community, Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State, with a candle lighting one of the rooms, following days of power outage.
The husband and father of the deceased was out to get some things when the incident happened.
Sources close to the family said only one out of the five children survived the inferno. The child is now receiving treatment at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Ilorin.
The landlord of the house, Mr Ibrahim Gana, was the one who rescued the child who survived. He sustained an injury on his hand while rescuing the child.

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has reacted to a viral photo of 84-year-old former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, kneeling before the new Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.
The 37-year-old Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko was on Saturday, crowned the 21st Olu of Warri and Obasanjo who was present at the coronation knelt and bowed before the monarch in homage to him.
In reaction to the viral photo Mercy Aigbe applauded the former president for respecting tradition.
Sharing the photo on her official Instagram page she wrote, “When I saw this picture, one thing came to my mind, Tradition! Nothings beats our Tradition. Long live the King @oluofwarri”.

A Nigerian lady, identified as Merita Uju, has taken to Facebook to share disturbing photos a Benin ‘big boy’s dirty kitchen.
According to her, she visited the man during the weekend with the intention of staying with him throughout the weekend, but made a U-turn after seeing his kitchen.
When asked why his kitchen was that dirty, he gave an excuse of his cleaner not being around for days.
Merita said she cleaned up some part of the kitchen, prepared noodles, watched Netflix before leaving his house because “her mother did not raise her to be a cleaner to a badly raised man”.

Sensational Nigerian Singer, Simi has revealed why she has been using her voice and platform to speak up for women lately.
This comes after a man dragged her for always involving men in her posts when motivating women after she advised women to always hype themselves.
The mum of one had taken to her Instastories to question why women are said to be cocky when they praise themselves, but a man is called “Chairman” or “boss” when he hypes himself.

To clear the air about her stance, the singer shared a post moments later explaining why she has been speaking up for women, despite receiving backlash from netizens.
According to her, she will continue to speak up for women’s right because majority of women are oppressed by men. She added that any man who feels attacked by her post is guilty of oppressing women and should check himself.
In a lengthy post she shared on her Instastories, she wrote,
“Why are you always talking women this women that, Simi’s own is too much”. Let me give you perspective.When we complain about Nigeria and the government tells us to shut up, we don’t shut up. We can’t afford to. Because the people are still oppressed. It doesnt mean all Nigerians are suffering, but majority are. The 30-year-old enterpreneur, in a conversation with Saskay, said his mum was very stubborn when she was young and her parents couldn’t wait to marry her off to any available man.
According to him, her parents had already made arrangement with her suitor’s parents for her to get married. They had even paid her brideprice and brought everything required for her marriage rites before everything went south.
Cross said his mom stormed her suitor’s house, beat him up and told her parents to return the bride price and everything they collected from his family.

“She went to the man’s house to beat him up and after she was done she went home to ask her parents to give her bride price back to the man.
“My grandparents were so devastated because they felt bad for the man. They had to return the bride price and every thing the man had brought to do her marital rites.
“My mum is a very beautiful woman but she was very stubborn and a very difficult person to deal with. My grandparents were also sad because they thought they had successfully sent her off to a man’s house.

The Nollywood actor in a conversation with 21-year-old Angel on Sunday, told her that if she survives eviction and makes it to the finals then the N90million grand prize would definitely be hers.

The General Overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo has banned the usage of earphones in his church.
According to the clergyman, earphones are devils tool to block the progress of youths as it does not allow them to hear divine guidance from God.

Former Nigeria’s first lady, Chief Mrs. Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi, is dead.
Victoria, wife of late Nigerian Military Head of State, Major General J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi, died peacefully in the early hours of Monday, August 23. She would have clocked 98 on November 21, 2021.
Her husband was the Supreme Commander of the National Military Government for six months before being overthrown and assassinated on July 29, 1966 in the 1966 Nigerian counter-coup.
Victoria never remarried till she passed away this morning.
The President said this during a crucial closed-door meeting with service chiefs held on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno, conveyed the President’s pledge to State House correspondents at the end of the meeting which lasted more than five hours.
“The President was briefed, he is quite happy that there’s been a tremendous success, especially with the advent of the new service chiefs and Inspector-General of Police. He also made it very clear that he’s not ready to exit government as a failure; he is not going to tolerate that.”

The aged couple tied the knot in their church over the weekend, Saturday August 21 with friends and families present.

A UK-based Nigerian woman identified as Bolanle Aworetan Omojuwa, has reportedly been shot dead after returning to the country to bury her mum.
It was gathered Omojuwa was shot dead by bandits on her way to the Ibadan after her mum’s lavish funeral ceremony which held at Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
After the ceremony, Omojuwa was said to have made a quick trip to Oyo state with her children, unfortunately she was shot dead in her car by bandits at the Guru Maharaji village, on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
The sad incidents happened on Thursday, August 19th and friends and families have taken to social media to mourn her demise.
Alumni members of the University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD) have also taken to their WhatsApp group to mourn the late mother of two, who was one of them.

Award-winning Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello has revealed that she got married to her first husband, Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof, due to societal pressure.
The mom of two, who is celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary to her husband, JJC Skills, today, August 23, made this revelation in a recent chat with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
According to her, she just wanted to settle down and have children because she was under pressure, but sadly the marriage ended after a year.
She went on to advise single ladies to avoid rushing into marriage because if they do, they will rush out of the marriage like she did.
The 43-year-old actress said,
“I have never addressed this issue but I will do now to encourage ladies that are pressured to get married. Big Brother Naija star, Cynthia Nwadiora better known as CeeC, has stated that she motivated ‘strong willed’ women to be themselves on the reality show.
Viewers of the Big Brother Naija show have repeatedly compared Cee-c’s character on the show to that of fellow reality stars, Erica and Tacha.
In a recent interview with Chude, Cee-c stated that she feels comfortable with the comparison as she believes that her character on the show motivated the likes of Erica and Tacha to also be themselves.
“People are not used to having women of strong opinions in a show like that and I was the first. I loved the comparison with Erica and Tacha and it didn’t make me uncomfortable. I feel I made people comfortable to go on the show and be themselves.
“By being myself I made Erica and Tacha comfortable to be themselves. I got out and became a better person of myself. I’m not for simple minded people”. She said.
Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Jackie B has alleged that her former bestie, Angel is responsible for the missing items in the house.
Jackie who stated this in a conversation with Jaypaul after the live show last night, alleged that she borrowed Angel a pair of shoe worth over N40,000 but instead of returning she hid it.
According to her, Angel deliberately hid the shoe and lied that she couldn’t find it because she wants to turn it to hers.
Although she revealed that Angel later returned the shoe she also accused her of stealing Peace’s wig which has been missing for days now.
Reacting to the allegations levied against the 21-year-old by Jackie B, Jaypaul noted that the revelation has changed his perception about Angel and he has started disliking her.

The fourth Big Brother Naija season 6 Sunday live eviction show came with a twist with Big Brother successfully pranking the housemates, as there was no eviction.
Recall that last Monday Big Brother gave the current Head of House, Maria a secret task to convince the housemates that she has been given the power to evict 2 housemates who least impress her.
On Sunday morning Maria released a list of her bottom 6 housemates which included her love interest, Pere, Emmanuel, JMK, Angel, Yousef and Jaypaul.
During the live eviction show when the show host, Ebuka asked that she chooses two housemates to be immediately evicted from the house, Maria chose JMk and Yousef.
Ebuka then broke the ice asking JMK and Yousef to sit and finally revealed to the housemates that it was just a prank all week and they are all saved for the week.
After the live show when the housemates spoke on the big prank Biggie played on them, Whitemoney stated that he knew no one was going home.
In response Maria noted that Whitemoney already knows what will happen till the last day of the show.
“Don’t mind him, this one know what will happen till the end of the show let’s leave this one alone”, she said.
