Men of the Ogun State Police command have arrested a herdsman, simply identified as Mohammed, with one AK 47 riffle.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, following a tip-off received by the DPO Imeko divisional headquarters, that two young fulani boys were sighted at CAC Oha forest Iwoye Ketu in Imeko Afon LGA with Ak 47 rifle.
It was gathered that the suspect was seen hiding in the bush with one AK 47 riffle after the police, hunters, vigilante and so safe corps stormed and combed the said forest.
He’s suspected to be a member of kidnap syndicates who have been t*rrorizing the area for quite some time now.
The spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the arrest said upon the information, the DPO quickly mobilized his men, other stakeholders like the hunters, Vigilante men, so safe corps and stormed the said forest. He said after hours of combing the forest, one Mohammed was seen hiding in the bush with one AK 47 riffle, and he was promptly arrested.

New Big Brother Naija housemate, Michael, has revealed that he was advised against using his name ‘Ebuka’ as his stage name on the show.
The Enugu state born housemate, whose full name is Michael Chukwuebuka Ngene, disclosed that he had to change his from ‘Ebuka’ to ‘Michael’ before he was introduced as the new housemate.
Michael, speaking in a conversation with his fellow housemate, Kayvee, said he decided to drop the name because the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, also bears the name and he didn’t want clash of personalities. He added that Ebuka has built a strong brand with the name so he couldn’t use it.
“I was advised not to use Ebuka as my stage name. I felt using it would have been a conflict of interest.
“When you hear BBNaija, you remember Ebuka. He has made a brand from the name, so I had to change my name to Michael at the last minute.” He said.
Kayvee on his part said he wanted to use the name ‘Koko’ but had to change because there are many ‘Koko’ in the entertainment industry.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Emmanuel’s Instagram handler has debunked viral reports alleging that the Mr Africa is married.
Photos and video of Emmanuel with a lady donned in a traditional outfit surfaced online raising speculations that the 24-year-old was married before getting into the Big Brother house.
The photos stirred reactions online with tweeps alleging dragging him for allegedly lying about his marital status.
A Twitter user wrote, “Emmanuel got married 2 years ago, We must protect Liquorose at all cost”, amongst several other comments.
Well, Emmanuel’s Instagram handler has now taken to the platform to clear the air, while explaining to his fans and followers that the photos and videos were from a shoot for a fashion brand.
The handler stated that Emmanuel can’t tie the knot without his relatives and family members being in the photos.

Few months after, an Instagram blogger alleged that Mercy has gotten married to a “very wealthy” man but they are keeping the union a secret.

In a video she shared on social media Tina noted that she repeatedly suffered abuse in her 11 years of marriage to Ben. According to her, she endured because she wanted to fight for their marriage and keep their home.

Tina revealed she finally left his house on November 28, 2020 after an incident that broke the camels back; she alleged that he locked her in the house and held onto the key and reportedly told her that there’s no marriage between them but just a caretaker of their children.
Tina who noted that while all these happened their pastor was not in the picture, begged people to stop criticizing Pastor Moses adding that he had no hand in her leaving her ex-husband as he had claimed.

The 34-year-old actor was announced the Head of House on Monday after emerging winner of the HOH game and chose his ‘love interest’ Maria as his deputy.
Surprisingly, in just three days of being Head of House and Maria his deputy, Pere has revealed that he regrets his decision.

Speaking in an interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on Monday, the 28-year-old fashion model said the current Head of Head, Pere, is projecting a false image of himself on the show.
According to her, Pere is not his real self on the reality TV show and is acting for the viewers.
“The housemate I feel is fake is Pere. There is just something fake about him. I think he is acting in the house,”she told Ebuka.
