Big Brother Naija housemate, Beatrice is the third housemate to be evicted from this year’s show.
Beatrice was put up for eviction last week and she obviously didn’t get more votes than Whitemoney and as such, has been deemed surplus for the requirements of the the reality show.
It would seem as though that JMK, the female housemate who was introduced to the show on Sunday evening, is her direct replacement.
Big Brother Naija housemates, Yerins and Niyi have both been evicted from this year’s show.
Yerins and Niyi were put up for eviction last week and they polled the lowest in votes, and as such, have been deemed surplus for the requirements of the the reality show.

When Ebuka asked Yerins why he cried during his last diary session, Yerins said the idea that he’d no longer be with the people he’s bonded with so far.

Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemates, Pere and Maria reportedly showered together after the Saturday night party.
Fellow housemate, Tega made this revelation on Sunday morning, August 8th and noted that Pere respected Maria because she was tipsy and didn’t do anything sexual with her.
“Maria and Pere had a shower together naked and as the gentleman Pere is, he respected her and didn’t do anything but talk with her.” Tega said.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old actor has stated that he’s convinced that Maria has feelings for him but deliberately giving him mixed signals.
Pere made this statement during a conversation with Emmanuel and Sammie last night. Meanwhile, Pere had earlier advised Emmanuel to shoot his shot at Maria if he really likes her.
Emmanuel who wanted to be sure if Pere still had any feelings for Maria before making any move asked Pere if he still loves Maria, and in response Pere stated that the ball is in Maria’s court as she is giving him mixed feelings.
A convinced Pere noted that Maria is trying hard to conceal her feelings for him because they are in an enclosed area surrounded by cameras.
Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu got dragged into an exchange with a troll on her IG page after the troll told her she can’t preach about the love of Christ while her boobs is on display.
The exchange ensued after the popular actress shared a post on her official Instagram page where she talked about “staying far from love” as the only valid love, is the love of Christ.
The actress shared a photo of herself with a top that had her cleavage on display and wrote,

One Joy Sunday, 37, and is a single mother to two children has been apprehended by men of the Ogun state police command for reportedly pouring hot water on the face of another lady, Justina Ameh who accused her of sleeping with her husband.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi stated that the suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Agbado divisional headquarters by the elder sister of the victim one Kelechi Samuel.
According to DSP Oyeyemi, Samuel reported that she went for a vigil at the Spring of Life Global Ministry situated at Giwa area of Agbado with her younger sister when the suspect came into the church with a container of hot water and poured it on her sister’s face thereby causing her grievous harm. She also stated that while she was trying to hold the suspect, she was also stabbed on her left hand by the same suspect.
Following the report, the DPO Agbado division, CSP Kehinde Kuranga, deployed his men to the scene, where the suspect was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect, Joy Sunday explained that, the victim has been accusing her of sleeping with her husband for quite some time now, and all efforts to disabuse her mind from it proved abortive.
On that fateful day, while they were in the church, the victim came as usual and started raining curses on her.
While she tried to walk away from her, the victim pulled her back with her cloth and tore the cloth. It was that annoyance that made her to go home and boiled water which she brought back to the church and poured it on the victim’s face.
When asked whether or not she is dating the victim’s husband, the suspect said she can swear with anything that there is nothing between her and the victim’s husband. Abimbola said
The police spokesperson also added that the victim has been taken to Strong Tower Hospital for medical treatment. He said the state Commissioner of Police, Edward Awolowo Ajogun, has directed that the case be properly investigated with the view of charging it to court as soon as possible.
Iconic football star, Lionel Messi had difficulties holding back his emotions as he confirmed his exit from Barcelona after 21 years at the club in an emotional press conference on Sunday.
Messi, 34, has been a free agent since July 1 after his contract at Camp Nou expired, although he had verbally agreed on a new deal on reduced wages only for the Catalan club to pull the plug.
Barcelona on Thursday, August 5, confirmed that Messi would not sign a new contract with the Spanish club amid financial concerns “and structural obstacles” which prevented Messi from renewing.
Speaking at a press conference from Camp Nou, which was attended by the entire first-team squad past players – including Xavi and Carles Puyol, Messi said he was keen to continue at Barcelona and did ‘everything he could’ to stay but it was not possible.

A Nigerian man who is a Methodist Minister identified as Rev. Ikejimba Felix and his spouse have welcomed a set of twins following eight years of waiting.
The minister and his wife, Barrister Faith gracefully welcomed a boy and girl recently after almost a decade of holding on for children.
Taking to Facebook on August 3, Rev. Ikejimba shared photos with his newborn twins and prayed for couples who are also waiting for the fruit of the womb.

Hushpuppi’s imminent conviction and the investigation carried out by the FBI has opened a can of worms as regards the fraudster’s affiliation in Nigeria.
Recall that super-cop, Abba Kyari was indicted and it is already a messy scandal, and as such, anyone who might have had any dealings with Hushpuppi in the past is now a possible suspect.
This has now led to some comments that Hush was good friends with Senator Dino Melaye, and people are asking the FBI to investigate him.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has opened up on his relationship with serial internet fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi.
Daddy Freeze in a video he shared on his official Instagram page revealed that Hushpuppi stood by him in his trying time when the church deserted him.
According to him, although he doesn’t in anyway support fraud, he’ll never deny the fact that the embattled internet celebrity is a lovely person who showed him love at a point in his life when he was surrounded by wickedness from the church.
Speaking further, he stated that the wickedness he received from the church and his close friends when he started speaking on the “excesses of the church”, brought him closer to Hushpuppi and Bobrisky who where there to support him.
He said in part,

In a recent post shared on her official Instagram page, the actress described Gambia as the “worst country” and it’s citizens as “worst people in history”.

Popular Gambian actress, Princess Shyngle, has taken to social media to allege that her life is being threatened by her ex-husband, Bala Gaye.

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has revealed that she doesn’t do giveaway online and prefers helping people physically.
The actress, in a recent Instagram Live chat with Saturday Beats, recounted how a woman who claimed to need money to start a business, blocked her on social media after she sent her some money.
According to the mum of one, she felt cheated and shocked after the incident.
In her words, “I don’t do giveaway online because I know how much I try to reach people physically. A woman once sent me a message that she needed to start egg business, and I sent some money.
“However, by the time I was sending her a message to let her know I had sent the money, she had blocked me. Apparently, she blocked me immediately she got the alert. It was mind-blowing. I was shocked and I felt swindled.”
Speaking further in the interview, the 37 years old actress stated that passion is not enough for someone to have a successful acting career.
She said, “The question is, why do you want to act? That is the first question I ask. When I ask them, they tell me, ‘I love acting’. You cannot come into acting just because you love it.
“Don’t come into acting as your last bus stop. There are other things you can do by the side. Eighteen years ago, acting just for the passion would have helped. But now, there are so many brilliant people in the industry, who have even been to acting school.”
