A 23-year-old bricklayer, Adebayo Kingsley, has been arrested for allegedly killing his 46-year-old lover and raping her corpse in Edo state.
It was gathered that the suspect killed his older lover, Rosemary Ifeoma a widow and mother-of-four, by hitting her head with a plank and had sex with her corpse afterwards.
Kingsley was earlier accused of hitting Rosemary’s 13-year-old son, after which he pounced on her thinking the son was dead.
Recounting the sad incident a neighbor of the deceased who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity said,
“This woman we popularly called Mama Samuel was a widow with four children and the last one, who is 13 years, stays with her. She was having difficulties paying her rent and then approached a woman in the area whose brother was building a storey building that has been roofed, to allow her stay there pending when she can raise money from her business to get a new accommodation.
“She had a lover, who is a bricklayer, that was coming to see her and people around here know them. It was early in the morning on July 16 that her 13 years old son, after regaining consciousness from his confrontation with the suspect in the night, ran to inform neibghours of what has happened.
“He was rushed to the hospital for treatment and later narrated the story of how the suspect attacked them. He led others to the place where the suspect was working and immediately he sighted the boy, he took to his heels until he was pursued and arrested by the police.”
When confronted Adebayo Kingsley confessed to the crime but denied hitting the deceased with a plank. According to him, Rose died in the course of an argument.
Confirming the incident to Vanguard on Tuesday, July 27th, Police Public Relations Officer, Edo State Command, Kontongs Bello, said the suspect would be charged to court once investigations are concluded.

Singer, Lyta’s babymama, Kemi Ayorinde, has debunked claim that she forced him to have a baby with her.
The 21-year-old, who shared receipts dating back to 2019 to back her claims, accused Lyta of being manipulative, deceptive, and letting everyone think she used the pregnancy to pin him down.
According to her, they both wanted to have a child together and stopped using protection during sex. However, when she got pregnant, he started acting strange.
Kemi disclosed that she told him about the pregnancy when she was 2-3 weeks in but he allegedly told everyone that she told him when she was 5 months pregnant and it was too late to abort it.
She shared a chat where she purportedly sent the pregnancy test to him in November 2019 as evidence.

Actress, singer and writer, Onyeka Onwenu has condemned the display of wealth at the talk of the town funeral of late Mrs Ezinne Uche Iyiegbu, Obi Cubana’s mum.
According to her, the lavish funeral which held in Oba Anambra state in July was obscene and insensitive, because it sent all the wrong signals at a time when Nigeria is wracked with widespread poverty and lack.
The author in an article published on Premium times revealed that prior to this she has directed her family on how to bury her when the time comes. She said she wants it to be a quiet and private burial.
She however explained that at the end of the day, it’s different strokes for different folks. She noted that her mother wanted an elaborate burial and she promised her days before her death that she will get the lavish burial she wants.
She revealed she fulfilled this promise to her mother, even though the burial was not on as lavish as Obi Cubana’s mum’s own.
“I told a friend just days before the most outrageous burial of Innyom Ezinne Uche Iyiegbu in Oba, Anambra State in July that I had given my family instructions on how to bury me when my time comes. Do it quickly, quietly and privately. Celebrate me with prayers, lunch or dinner afterwards. Share some jokes about me and laugh. Mourn, yes, but not excessively. Make merriment and then go about your business. If my friends want to celebrate me, they should do so while I am alive, so that I can enjoy it with them, not when I am gone and have no idea about this. That is me Onyeka Onwenu.
“My mother, on the other hand, wanted a different burial and I promised to give her want she wanted. On her hospital bed, just three days before she passed away, I reinforced that promise – it was important to her and she died knowing that I would keep my word. Hope Onwenu’s burial was nothing like what took place in Oba recently but it was elaborate and pretty expensive. Still I had the satisfaction that I kept my promise
“The point I make here is that there are different strokes for different folks, even within a family. I do not condemn anyone for how they mourn, with their hard-earned money but I am very uncomfortable with lavish display of wealth on any occasion, especially in a time of hardship and lack for most others. The burial of Obi Cubana’s mother was not only lavish, it was obscene and insensitive. It sent all the wrong signals at a time when Nigeria is wracked with widespread poverty and lack.
But so long as he and his supportive friends stole nobody’s money to do what they did, my outrage has abated. I will not call for them to be hanged on the stake as some have done. These reactions have been extreme and just as mindless as the conspicuous display of wealth we witnessed at the burial ceremony. Obi Cubana and his friends did not invent the art of spraying, neither are they the first to show off stupendous wealth in a wild celebration of any kind. But in an age of invasive social media, our senses are instantly bombarded with images of sheer madness, where caution is thrown to the wind and we are regaled with images of sheer debauchery. We ask: Is this all necessary?”
Speaking on the display at Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial, Onwenu wrote,
“I condemn it all. It does not reflect the Igbo culture that I grew up in. Ndigbo would not condone the conspicuous display of wealth. If you were found doing that, your close and extended family, your community would send a delegation to you, to ask about the source of the wealth you are throwing about. You would be ostracised if you have no convincing evidence of legitimate work. All that changed at the end of the Nigeria/Biafra conflict. Ndigbo were deprived of their money, their oil wells and towns excised from Imo and Abia States, their properties termed ‘abandoned’ and taken from them. They were forced to rebuild with no help and no compensation. It therefore became every person to themselves. Having money meant that you could get things done and like every other Nigeria society, our priorities were turned upside down. People no longer asked how and where you got your money. The point was that you had it. Our values may have been eroded but we have to fight back to regain them, to ensure our survival as the decent and hardworking people that we truly are.”
Popular Nollywood Actress, Georgina Onuoha, has taken to her social media page to send a message to ladies who are beneficiaries of “Rich men” but lie online that they are hardworking independent ladies.
According to the actress , those ladies should take pride in “eating the money they didn’t work for” and quit being unsolicited motivational speakers on social media
In her words ;
Never hand over the pen 🖊 that writes your story to anyone. Only you can write your autobiography.
PS: That most of us chose not to display our professional lives on social media doesn’t mean we are jobless. It simply means certain things should remain private as it should. Some of us sleep while our money work for us. Some of us have staffers doing the job and some of us just figured out how to work smart and live our lives jejely.
If you are living off on a man’s hard earn money, I don’t appreciate you giving false narratives of how hard you work let alone becoming a motivational speaker when in actual sense you don’t know how to multiple a dollar. So please Stop it. We know how you all end. Not all you display on social media is as it is. Take pride in eating the money you did not work for and give credit where it is due. Not every woman wants to be kept by a man, majority wants to add value to their partners lives.
Until you put on those big girl pants just crawl back into trophy and borrowed life and let hardworking people breathe and appreciate their self made lives.

“My picture of the month….I hope we don’t loose another life before @iamkingrudy and @peterpsquare realise it’s their turn to bury the hatchet”
A Nigerian man, identified as Kosi Ugo, has claimed that many men would gladly go into prostitution if they would be paid handsomely for it.
Kosi opined that men are jealous of female prostitutes because they lack the opportunity to trade sex for money and they have to work very hard to afford the life they desire.
According to him, men also want to live the good life, drive flashy cars and travel around the world at the expense of a wealthy woman but they don’t have the opportunity, hence the reason why they are quick to call women prostitutes.
Popular socialite, Pretty Mike, has shared his thoughts about people who are comfortable with having sex when the female partner is on her menstrual cycle.
In a post he shared on his Instagram page, Pretty Mike expressed utter disgust at period sex while noting that a man who sleeps with a woman when she is on her period lacks self-control and can sleep with anyone and anything.
According to him, it is cringeworthy that some ladies also demand and enjoy sex when they are on their period.
He wrote,
“How difficult is it to wait 4-5 days before having sex while your partner is seeing their period?
I love the whole idea of intimacy but honestly I can’t even aspire to that level.
It’s just weird that people even consider it , It shouldn’t even be fetishized. it’s messy … it’s nasty and just not right.
I mean you’ve got a whole bunch of safe days, why be greedy and add the period days to it?
If you can plunge your d**k into a bleeding vagina then you can sleep with anything and anyone , honestly there’s no iota of self control in you. Towels and showers still don’t change the fact that there’s still a flow.
It’s cringeworthy to note that people actually think it’s totally okay to have period sex.. it is not.
I have no right to tell you what to do with you body but abeg don’t make your preference an unchallengeable conviction.(what am I hearing that some of u girls want it and even are more horny when u are on ur monthly) ewooooh?

Barely 24 hours after advising netizens to stop mocking people over their natural defects, Nkechi Blessing mocked Yousef for pronouncing “Veto” as “Beto”, due to his accent.
She called him, “Aboki Namu”.
This didn’t sit well with an Instagram user who called her out for being insensitive and stupid.

Nigerian sex therapist and aphrodisiac specialist, Jaruma has told ladies asking her for products to help make billionaire, Obi Cubana their Sugar daddy that her products cant work on him.
According to the Kanyamata seller, the billionaire businessman and several other men of his caliber have spiritual protection which makes it impossible for her products to work on them.
She revealed that asides their spiritual protection Obi Cubana also has the backing of his wife, Ebele Iyiegbu making it more difficult to trap him with any kanyamata product.

Billionaire heiress, Tolani Otedola has taken to her Instagram page to share the challenging journey she’s had to face over the past year.
According to her, she was diagnosed with a condition and had to fight for her life — this caused her to be inactive on social media but now, she’s thankful for life that she’s able to bounce back.
Sharing a recent photo of herself, she wrote,
For over a year now, I’ve been very social media shy… life shy if I’m being honest. Last year l was diagnosed with a condition & it was the toughest season of my life.. But with God and some really special people by my side, I made it through.
I grow stronger every day, and the worst of it has passed… but there have been a few aftereffects of my treatment, one of which has greatly affected my confidence… because it’s quite obvious.
Being in an industry that places a high value on appearance, I found myself unable to reconcile taking medication that helped my mind but affected my weight.
I fought with all my heart to be here, and I’ve been feeling quite down that this one ridiculous thing is keeping me hidden. I’m alive! And what a blessing that is, especially in a season where so many people lost loved ones.
I also understood something today… that to stay self conscious about my outer appearance, is to undervalue my inner healing… it’s an injustice to my mind, body & God given creativity. To look in the mirror and be embarrassed of my scars is to disregard how I got them and belittle what I’ve survived.
Many of you guys send me words of encouragement prayers, it means so much. I’m loving making music and slowly making my way back. Thank you for remaining… Gods love & light 🤍
The case between Baba Ijesha and Princess took another twist today with new revelations concerning the victim.
The defence team of Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, alias Baba Ijesha, on Tuesday alleged that the 14-year-old daughter of actress and comedienne, Damilola Adekoya alias Princess, was harassed by two other men.
According to reports, the lead defence counsel, Mr Babatunde Ogala (SAN), made the allegations on Tuesday during the trial of Baba Ijesha over six-counts of defilement at an Ikeja Special Offences Court.
While cross-examining Princess, he said that the 14-year-old girl was molested by Mr Damola Adekola, Princess’s neighbour and one man known simply as Okele, Princess’s security guard. When Princess was asked who Adekola was, she described him as her neighbour who she also regarded as a brother. She said that they also ran a haulage business together.
Responding to why Adekola was arrested by the police in April, Princess said: “He was arrested because I reported him to the police that in December 2020, he attempted to harass my daughter. He did not molest her, he harassed her by putting his hand on her laps and told her to put her hands on his manhood, but she said no and she raised an alarm. I reported to the police when I found out.
I asked them to go to bed and when it was 9.30 p.m., I asked him (Adekola) to still check up on them to ensure that they are still out watching cartoons after their bedtime. She told me what happened on April 20 or 21 (after Baba Ijesha’s arrest). That was the only attempted harassment that happened in my house.
“The other one happened when I sent her to his (Adekola’s) house, he attempted to grab her, she screamed and ran upstairs. This was around late December 2020, I also found about it at the police station,” she said. On Okele, the security guard, Princess said that he did not molest her daughter but that he exposed himself indecently to the child.
Big Brother Naija S6 housemate, Arinola Olowoporoku has bragged about the different countries around the world she has traveled to.
Arin in a conversation with Boma earlier today revealed she loves travelling and has been to different countries.
An inquisitive Boma asked her the number of countries she’s been to and in response she said,
“I don’t want to count, but I have been to Amsterdam, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Scotland, America, and other countries. I don’t ask my mother for ticket money because I have pride, I’ll just tell her I want to travel but she’ll pay for my ticket.
“In America, I’ve been to New York, Atlanta. The last time I was in America was in 2018”, she added.

Big Brother Naija housemate, White Money has revealed that he stayed under the bridge with the chairman of touts in Ojuelegba, Surulere, between 2014 and 2015.
The 29-year-old businessman made this revelation while speaking with the other housemates about the effect “nature and nurture” has on the overall behavior of a child.
During the interactive section, the housemates shared their opinion about the topic and argued that a person’s morals and values plays a major role in determining their overall behavior, not nature or nurture.
Sharing his opinion about this, White money disclosed that he stayed with the head of all ‘agberos’ in Surulere, Lagos, yet he didn’t smoke for once because he had a strong resolve.
The BBNaija: Shine your eyes edition, which kicked off on Saturday, July 24, 2021, is slowly picking the pace with less drama, as the housemates are just getting to know each other.
Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing has called on BBNaija viewers to support a black-skin girl in this year’s edition of the reality show.
Taking to her Instastory, the actress urged people to stop the colorism and give black girls a fair chance at the game.
According to her, she is tired of seeing light-skinned girls getting all the attention year in, year out.
She went on to encourage viewers of the show to select one of the beautiful black skin girls in the house and throw their weight behind her this year.
She wrote,
“To those supporting the BBN show, make una try pick one out of the fine fine Black girls support.. Enuf of this yellow yellow every time.. Ya all ain’t encouraging black skin people.. Hian!!”
Nkechi Blessing took to her Instagram to share that she understands when men shame a woman for having fallen breasts but doesn’t get it when it’s women doing the shaming.
Big Brother Naija housemate, Yousef is currently being dragged on social media after he repeatedly pronounced ‘Veto’ as ‘Beto’ in a conversation with peace.
Peace won the first Head of House challenge on Monday, July 27th and became the first Head of House in the sixth season of reality show and picked Yousef as her Deputy.
While they were in bed, Peace is heard talking to Yousef about veto power and the plateau born housemate repeated after her with an accent.
Peace thought Yousef had made a mistake and tried correcting him, “it’s “veto” she said. However, Yousef repeated after her, pronouncing the “V” as “B”.
Peace asks Yousef to recite the English alphabet. “Say A to Z,” Peace tells Yousef trying to get him to pronounce the letter V.
This however stirred mixed reaction on social media, while some netizens said Yousef was teasing Peace some concluded it was his accent and dragged him for it.
A Twitter user @Ennybliss3 wrote, “Yousef is apparently representing hos senatorial district”.
@Yaperson4 wrote, “Please, is her Indian of mixed or from northern Nigeria?”.
@siroxlade wrote, “Na minors he dey focus on for school”.
Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky has threatened to sue Instagram blogger, Tosin Silverdam if he continues to troll him on his page.
Bob in a now deleted post accused Tosin, who is popular for criticizing celebrities with his Instagram posts, of chasing clouts with his name.
An apparently angry Bobrisky took to social media to warn the blogger to stop making “demeaning” posts about him, else he would get him arrested and file a case against him.
In his words,
“Tosinsilveradam dis is an open warning for you. If you dare post anything about me on your page again I will ask for your arrest in that Kano and I will pay to transfer your case to Lagos or Abuja. Stop mentioning me on your page else my lawyer will use ur email on your bio to serve you a letter. Be warned.
“Enough of your clout chase with my name… have gathered enough evidence to use against you so stop clout chasing with my name. You can build your own brand without my name. If other celebrities aren’t talking I will talk about my own. You aren’t other bloggers without face. Be warned!!! But if you have money to fight me you can continue and watch me flex my power on you”.
VP Osinbajo’s media aide, Maria Ude Nwachi, has taken a swipe at those supporting BBNaija housemate, Angel, for exposing her mammary glands.
It can be recalled that Angel’s outfit on Sunday night caused a stir on social media as netizens aired their opinion about her boobies. However, some Nollywood stars defended her and slammed those shaming her body.
In an apparent reaction to this, Nwachi took to Facebook to address people who encourage ladies to exposing their bodies as a sign of high confidence.
According to her, majority of those defending nudity will never dress nude or allow their children to wear revealing clothes.
Read her full post below,
“Yeah she should be allowed dress nude if she wants to and show us everything in her body. Yeah showing us her flatties is high confidence.. yes support her..”
That was no high confidence.
That was mgba-mgba nsi.
If you can’t practice what you support, if you can’t do what you encourage other to do, you are an enabler of fatal iberibeness. You are leading people to their doom. Check yourself.
They will hide under “don’t bodyshame” but won’t dress nude nor allow their own daughters to dare it. All to encourage lack of shame and degeneration. All to make you do what they won’t do, so they will be laughing at you on the inside and be clapping for your dance of ignominy publicly.
Ladies, don’t let pretenders and ndi iru abuo mislead you. Their support is fake so you will go out and descrete yourself publicly while they cover their own necessities..”
