Defunct Plantashun Boiz group which includes Nigerian music veterans, 2face, Blackface and Faze, put aside their differences and reunited in honour their late mutual friend, Sound Sultan.

A Night of Tribute was organized in Lagos for the late Sound Sultan and friends, celebrities, and fans were all in attendance to honor the late singer.

In course of the event which was held on Saturday, July 24, Tuface, BlackFace, and Faze performed together on stage — they as well, performed some of their old songs released when they were still a group.

At some point during the night, all three men embraced each other on stage, putting over a decade of animosity aside.

Taking to her official Facebook page, Yao announced the end of her relationship with her fiancé, Grand P while accusing him of being a chronic cheat.

According to her, she’s done with the relationship and moving on. This is coming only months after the model accused Grand P of always cheating in her.

The news of their break came as a shock to many of their fans who constantly gushed over the hot couple goals they served on social media before now.

Announcing the end of their relationship in a Facebook post written in French and translated to English, Yao stated,

“Good evening my babies just to inform you that me and big P, the relationship is over. I’m moving on thank you”

Meanwhile, months ago Yao said she doesn’t care what trolls tell her online, as she is seriously in love with the popular small statured Guinean musician.

Grand P, with real name Moussa Sandiana Kaba, was born with progeria, an extremely rare genetic disorder that has affected his physical stature.

Since Yao and Grand P came public with their relationship, netizens have been trolling them saying that the loved-up couple are only together as a marketing stunt for the musician while some claim she is with the musician for money.

His estranged wife, Sonia recently took to her Instastories to congratulate him on the birth of his baby from another woman. Sonia in her post, revealed that the singer has fathered two children now from two different women. She pointed out that she still remains his legal wife.

Shortly after her post was shared, social media users claimed she called him out because she was pained.

Sonia in her response, said she is the legally married wife and that if she wants to collect everything from him, she can. Sonia also alleged that the footballer welcomed a baby with another woman since February and has refused to pay child support despite court orders.

R Kelly had sexual contact with underage boy as well as girls, prosecutors say

Embattled American singer-songwriter, R.Kelly has landed in more problems as federal prosecutors reveal more sex trafficking allegations against him including one that he had sexual contact with an underage boy.

It should be recalled that Kelly faces multiple charges in New York, Minnesota and Illinois, with many of them related to his alleged abuse of underage girls.

In a court filing last Friday, July 23, the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York revealed that it believes Kelly also violated at least one male victim.

According to the filing, which includes new information but no new charges, Mr. Kelly met a 17-year-old boy at a McDonald’s around December 2006, and invited him to a party. When the teen showed up with his mother and stepfather, Mr Kelly allegedly asked him to come alone next time.

After that, prosecutors say he invited the boy to his studio, “under the guise of helping and mentoring John Doe #1 with his musical aspirations”.

“Kelly also asked John Doe #1 what he was willing to do to succeed in the music business and clarified that he wanted John Doe #1 to engage in sexual contact with Kelly,” the document says. “With that backdrop, Kelly then engaged in sexual contact with John Doe #1, in violation of Illinois law.”

Mr. Kelly has pleaded not guilty to the charges and denies ever abusing anyone.

Prosecutors, however, are accusing the musician of coordinating a vast criminal enterprise involving his bodyguards, managers, and other members of his entourage, all geared toward gratifying Mr Kelly’s sexual desires.

“The purposes of the Enterprise were to promote R Kelly’s music and the R Kelly brand, to recruit women and girls to engage in illegal sexual activity with Kelly and to produce pornography, including child pornography,” the US attorney’s office says.

Friday’s court filing spans 55 pages, and includes 20 “Jane Does” and two “John Does”.

Prosecutors say Mr Kelly also asked John Doe #1 to contact a juror in his 2008 child pornography trial, and to tell the juror that Mr Kelly was a “good guy”. They also allege that he tried to start a sexual relationship with a friend of John Doe #1’s, who was 16 or 17 at the time.

Mr Kelly’s New York trial is set to begin on 9 August.

The housemates are already settling down and getting to know themselves better and on one occassion, the housemate known as Yerins piqued people’s interest when he described the kind of person he is.

Yerins described himself as a “Polymath” and a “Renaissance” person.

A quick check into the dictionary defines a Polymath as a person of wide knowledge or learning. A renaissance person also means one with many talents or areas of knowledge.

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has issued a stern warning to fans who take unflattering photos of him at public gatherings and share them on social media.

Media personality, Daddy Freeze has weighed in on the sack of over 40 Winners chapel pastors for being unfruitful.

Recall that Revered clergyman, David Oyedepo recently broke silence on the sack of multiple pastors of his church, Living Faith Church Worldwide, popularly known as Winners Chapel.

Justifying the sack, the lead pastor of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo stated that the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful.

According to him, his church has no patience with failure, and since the pastors were unfruitful and blatantly failed they were relived of their duties.

Reacting to this, Daddy Freeze noted that the only thing Christ dismissed and punished for being unfruitful is a fig tree.

A beautiful young Nigerian female graduate who put herself through university as she worked as a security officer has gracefully been offered an internship job in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The job offer comes some months after the lady, identified as Nkechi Benjamin, graduated from Imo state university, Owerri. Her inspiring story was shared by LinkedIn user, Chima Onwumere, who disclosed that the company not only offered her a job but also accommodation because she’s not a resident of Lagos.

Nkechi, on social media shared her academic feat with lovely photos as she affirmed that truly, one’s dreams are achievable so long as the person has the courage to pursue them.
