Lagos socialite, Pretty Mike has revealed what Obi Cubana told him prior to the burial ceremony of his mother.

The burial ceremony has dominated Nigerian news-space and it is no surprise due to the massive display of wealth and money spraying from his friends and associates.

According to Mike, Obi Cubana’s plans for his mother’s burial was that it would be so big, people would be craving death.

In his words ;

I remember when Obis wife father died some months back. We came for the burial. It was nothing short of a carnival. I asked him so why wait till July to bury your mum. He said let’s keep her on ice for now, she has to go out gloriously, she deserved’ it. I said bros Stop being humble. He replied “after my mama burial ceremony, to die go dey hungry some people” today I understand.

Obi Cubana’ mother’s burial has been the talk of the country for days now and it doesn’t look like it will stop anytime soon.

The ceremony was graced by his wealthy friends and associates, amongst whom were several Nollywood stars, singers and the crème de la crème in the society.

There was an impressive display of wealth at the ceremony that at some point, the burial would have easily been mistaken for a carnival.

Money is good, and it was there for all to see – that statement was also echoed by veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo.

He’d showed his hype-man talent as he took to social media to sing praises of Obi and in general, being wealthy.

In a recent video he made, he sent a message to young people telling them to start hustling so they won’t be left out when the economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC), starts their unethical raiding, arresting and parading of suspects.

Daddy Freeze has reacted to the amount of criticism Obi Cubana has recieved for having over 300 cows for his mother’s burial.

The Entrepreneur is currently holding a burial ceremony for his mother and it has been the talk of the town due to the massive display of wealth and affluence by his close friends and associates.

Obi received more than 300 cows amongst the various other gifts from the dignitaries that were invited to the event, and some social media users feel it’s a LITTLE BIT OVER THE TOP.

Daddy Freeze in his reaction, wrote ;

I don’t know what the issue is with @obi_cubana ‘s 200 cows, when the supposed wisest man that ever lived, Solomon, consumed 30 cows and 100 sheep DAILY! As in EVERY SINGLE DAY. That’s 210 cows and 700 sheep every single week.🤷

If he can afford it, why not?
Personally, I don’t get where all these plenty issues are arising from.

If for 40 whole years (Solomon was king for 40years), there was a literal party everyday in Solomon’s palace and he was still considered ‘wise’, why are we now questioning the wisdom of our brother, who chose to have fun with his friends and family for just a few days. 🤷🤷

Obi Cubana’s is going to commit his mother to the earth, today, Friday 16th , and it has been generating a buzz on social media all week.

There is a magnanimous display and wealth from Obi’s friends and associates, so people are of the opinion that his mother will really Rest In Peace.
