The self-acclaimed online financial coach, GehGeh shares his reservations about the 2025 Best African Music Performance Grammy nomination.

The Grammy Awards which is an annual ceremony that recognizes outstanding achievements in the global music industry nominated five African musicians for the award which will be held in February next year.

The Afrobeat star, Davido was nominated for his song collaboration with the American singer, Chris Brown. Others included for the same award are A-list Nigerian artists: Asake, Tems, Wizkid, and Yemi Alade.

Gehgeh in a video to acknowledging the nomination, pleads that Davido be excluded from the nominees because he is being used as a pawn to gain traffic and publicity for the event.

The coach claimed the singer who has never gotten a Grammy award will not also win this time even though he values it more than private jets.

Gehgeh shares that adding Davido to the list is a mockery and slap to the latter’s face because the owner of the song, ChrisBrown is not an African. And so does not qualify for the category.

Super Eagles player, Jude Ighalo shares his observation on the significant decrease in Apollo virus cases in Nigeria this year, attributing it to economic challenges.

Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old footballer jokingly stated that Nigerians haven’t suffered from Conjunctivitis, popularly known as Apollo in Nigeria, which is an infection or irritation caused by bacterial or viral factors to the eyeball.

In his defense, the economic hardship Nigerians have experienced this year due to rising fuel prices, food costs, and living expenses is justification for warding off the virus.

The virus has nowhere to remain in Nigerians’ eyes after what they have witnessed.

Afrobeat singer, Davido plans to donate ₦300 million to different orphanages to mark his birthday this year.

To celebrate his birthday on November 21, he pledged to donate a whopping amount of money to commemorate this year’s birthday.

The musician shared on the microblogging site X that, as part of his birthday celebration, he would be giving to orphanages and a foundation that helps young people avoid drug abuse and addiction.

A Nigerian mum expressed surprise as her son, enrolled in swimming lessons, opted to sleep in the pool instead, unaware of the peer’s swimming activities.

The mother @pammascoco wrote in the caption that she had enrolled her kid in swimming lessons at the school, but he turned the class into an unplanned sleepover beside the pool.

“Who on earth sleeps in the pool?” she asked.

As can be seen in the video, the little boy was strapped into a swim ring much like the other children in the pool, but instead of using the ring as a support to learn swimming, he chose to sleep in the pool while floating on the water.

He was oblivious to the other children enjoying themselves in the water until an older girl swayed his swim ring, which woke him up.

While some viewers compared the scene to the biblical account of Jesus Christ napping in water, others conjectured that the boy had no interest in swimming lessons and chose to sleep instead.

A Nigerian man on X (Twitter) has shared the unpleasant experience his wife had after using the services of a delivery driver.

Posting his story on the platform, the man lamented how it was difficult to find honest people in Nigeria these days.

He criticized Nigerians for blaming only the government and politicians for their issues when many average people also lack integrity;

‘’My wife ordered something from a Nigerian vendor, and it was delivered to out house in Lagos. The vendor had already paid the delivery guy N3,700 for the service. When the delivery guy arrived, he collected another N3,700 from my gateman.

Later, when my wife and the vendor realized they had both paid for delivery, the vendor called the guy to ask for a refund. Instead of apologizing or returning the money, the guy got offended and said they were bothering him over ‘just’ N3,700.

It is crazy how people like to blame politicians for everything, but the truth is, many regular people have no integrity either. Our values are so messed up that finding an honest person feels like looking for a needle in a haystack these days.”

In a video shared online, the man @director_fancy momentarily disrupted the photoshoot but shared a picture that showed how the photographer’s creativity converted the incident into a creative image.

The viral clip displayed the man, wearing an Agbada, a beaded necklace, a cap, and sunglasses; standing at the edge of the swimming pool to show off his many poses, the man lost his footing and ended up in the swimming pool with the sunglasses still on his face and the Agbada keeping him afloat.

This revelation comes days after Good’s team denied rumours that the two had parted ways. The two started dating in May 2023, two months after Majors was arrested over an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Despite his claims of innocence, Major was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December and was later sentenced to a 52-week in-person counseling program and was made to pay a $250 fine in April, according to NC news.

However, his legal troubles did not hindered him from finding love again, as his now-fiancée, Good stood by his side supporting him every step of the way.

Majors known for his roles in “Creed II,” “The Ant-Man and the Wasp,” and “Lovecraft Country” couldn’t stop gushing about his newly engaged fiancée.

Nigerian pastors are never beating down the allegations against them as the viral video of a pastor performing deliverance hits the net.

The man whose church is located in Osogbo, South-west Nigeria is seen placing legs on the stomach of a demon-possessed girl who laid down on her back.

As he presses his legs on her, the lady writhes in pain while he intensifies his prayer. He beckons on a male church member to support his posture.

After being convinced of delivering the young girl from demonic possession, he removes his leg and questions if she feels pressed in her bladder to which she replies in affirmative.

This video did not sit well with many who protested against the degrading method and called for his head. They called him a fake and that of course, the lady would feel the need the need to urinate after he stood on her belly.
