A Nigerian lady recounted her experience when she was deceived by her ex-boyfriend, who introduced his girlfriend as his cousin on her matriculation day.
Sharing on Twitter (X), the lady @precy_oma mentioned that her ex-boyfriend had manipulated her into believing his girlfriend was his cousin and she had naively played host to her on her matriculation day.
He had deceitfully introduced a lady as his cousin, who had just gained admission into their school.
She wrote,
“I just remembered when my bf in uni told me his cousin got admission into our school. On her matric day, I was running around serving her guests and all. I even slept on the floor and allowed her and my man sleep on the bed. Later found out they were dating and never cousins”.
She disclosed that on the matriculation day, she ran a helter-skelter to serve guests and made preparations for the event. After the event, she allowed her man and his girlfriend-turned-cousin to sleep on the bed.
It took a while before she discovered her man and the lady weren’t related.
Tweeps have flocked into the comment area, claiming the lady was easily manipulated because she was blinded by love.
