Gifty took to her Instagram story to disclose that being a father is not all about birthing kids.

She however ignored the fathers of her kid as she opted to use Davido as the perfect example of a good father.

Nigerian Reality TV star, Tboss has written on life as a single mother as she joined the league of women who have also wished themselves a happy Father’s day.

In a post shared on Instagram, the mother of one disclosed that she never envisioned being a mother without being a wife because those were her dreams.

I don’t get a chance to do my own stuff, I can’t get a moment to shave my armpits or have a proper convo with my friends because lil mama is gonna cook her teddy bear in the middle of the living room, taking a sh*t in private is Luxury.

My body’s changed tremendously, I’m loosing hair, my eyes are puffy and Black and sunken. I can’t afford to have off-days because my mood would affect hers. Days when she’s under the weather- I loose sleep so badly that I break down as soon as she gets better. Pampers, wipes, baby food, clothes, cosmetics ain’t cheap. Constantly wondering if I’m doing the right thing? Constantly thinking about her future.

Constantly looking out for opportunities to invest for her, loosing money- Last week I lost so much money I’m yet to break down from that one and yet Every single day I get up- Grumpily sometimes but I show up for my Daughter. I do it for her regardless of my emotions. You know why? Because she didn’t ask to be here. I made the decision to have her and I’m gonna see this journey blossom till I draw my last breath.

Nollywood Actress, Damilola Adegbite has shared a thought provoking post to single mothers that intentionally deprive their children of fatherly love.

In her “Father’s day message to the single mothers”, she opined that single mothers should allow their baby’s fathers be in their life as much as possible. She said this is important because they won’t be babies forever and the mothers will not be be able to keep them separated from their father.

It reads ;

There are 3 categories of single mothers:

The ones whose children’s fathers cannot be in their life (E.g Dead, incarcerated etc)

The ones whose children’s fathers have abandoned them or who do more harm than good being a part of their lives (E.g Cases of domestic violence)

And then lastly, the ones who intentionally keep their children/child away from their father because they are angry, bitter,hurt and vengeful.

To “category 3” mums, today is a good day to reassess the situation. There are many awesome fathers who genuinely crave to be in their children’s lives but are not allowed to by their moms. Trust me, I understand how you feel. Please soften your heart towards them and make decisions based on what’s best for your child. Let their fathers in as much as possible. They won’t be babies forever and you will not always be able to keep them separated from their father. May our children not grow up and blame us or despise us for depriving them of their fathers love.

Nollywood Actress, Halima Abubakar gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in August, last year, and although no one knows the father of her child, she intends to keep it that way.

In an interview with SATURDAY BEATS, the Actress said she doesn’t see any need of sharing her private life with the public, hence the decision to conceal the identity of her husband.

She told PUNCH :

Nobody knows if I’m married and it’s not something I want to involve people in. People will just see me popping (giving birth to) kids. I don’t want to share my private life with the public. In showbiz, I can give out something different, aside from my family. Everyone must not show off their husbands or boyfriends. Some people are always ready to crash beautiful relationships and I would not give anyone room for that. I had a similar situation with an ex but the man was foolish and childish to have listened to (naysayers). Men are not worth fighting over.

Fireworks continued at this year’s BBNaija reunion as the former housemates used the opportunity to address some issues that they did not like during that time in Biggie’s house.

One of these infamous issues would be that of Nengi and Ozo, the friendship-love that got viewers glued to the screen.

Recall that Ozo was seriously attracted to Nengi throughout the show but Nengi refused all his advances, making it clear that she just wanted friendship.

Nengi’s decision and the fact that Ozo was super clingy made it seem like she was using Ozo because she knew he had a soft spot for her. Nengi has now shut down those talks as she said she had no reason to use anybody.

Popular Nigerian Rapper, Illbliss’ second daughter, KachimSideh, celebrated her first birthday yesterday June 18, and the proud father got into a celebratory mood.

Illbliss recounted how his wife’s water broke prematurely with KachimSideh and how the doctors advised him and his wife to terminate her pregnancy, A second opinion saw them keeping her pregnancy until their baby was born in June 18 2020.

His birthday message read ;

”My darling daughter KachimSideh, On May 29th , mummy’s water broke prematurely at 6 months and the hospital advised us to terminate. They advised that it was medically impossible to save a baby at 23 weeks and mummy had lost all her amniotic fluid from a rupture on her sack.

We didn’t stop fighting. You never stopped kicking. We decided to seek a second opinion from @reddingtonlagos and on June 18th 2020, you came into our lives, weighing 975 grammes , under a 1kg.

You spent months in the NiCU incubators, And God never left your side for a second. Sideh Nwa! You fought so hard to be alive and today..We celebrate your First Birthday. We are so proud to be your parents. We are so blessed to be here with you.

The joy you bring to our lives can never be described with words. You are a very Special Child, and our God Almighty will continue to bless and protect you.

Sonia in her response, said she is the legally married wife and that if she wants to collect everything from him, she can. Sonia also alleged that the footballer welcomed a baby with another woman since February and has refused to pay child support despite court orders.
