Nigerian Gospel Singer, Heben Ajayi, is dead.
According to reports, he was attacked by armed robbers and shot at his residence.
One of his close friend said ;
“We rushed him University College Hospital(UCH), Ibadan, Oyo State and the medical personnel demanded a police report before he could be attended to after we explained that he was shot by armed robbers. Then we rushed him to a private hospital —J-Rapha Hospital and they also refused to treat him without a police report.
He bled for three hours. Unfortunately, he died while we were trying to look for another hospital to take him to. It’s absurd that this happened, he could hav been alive if these hospitals had treated him first before demanding a police report. His wedding was to take place next week. It’s sad!.”

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has again warned that anyone caught spraying Naira notes will be arrested and sent to jail.
This directive is a bid by the apex bank to curb the rate at which Nigerians ‘mutilate, deface, squeeze and even spray and sell’ the naira notes during memorable occasions such as weddings and funerals
An Assistant Director at the Currency Operations Department, Aladeen Badajo said this during the commencement of the CBN two-day sensitisation fair held in Abeokuta, Ogun state today June 10. He pointed out that the apex bank threatened that “abuse of the currency attracts a penalty of not less than six months or a fine of not less than N50,000 or both.”

A now suspended Virginia Tech football player, Isi David Etute reportedly beat up a transvestite hooker to death after discovering she’s a man.
Etute on Wednesday, June 9h, admitted he punched the sexual partner five times in the face and stomped on him after discovering the person he thought was a woman was actually a man.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on June 2nd in the death of the crossdresser, Smith,
who was a Blacksburg restaurant worker.
Etute told the police that he had matched with a person named “Angie” on Tinder believing she was a woman and had met up with her for oral s*x on April 10th.
He and “Angie” set up another date on May 31th, but when he discovered there that she was actually a man, Etute attacked the transvestite hooker.
The deceased body was later discovered by the Police two days later, June 1st, in the apartment in the 100 block of Blacksburg’s North Main Street.
According to a report by Richmond Times-Dispatch, autopsy showed that all the bones in Smith’s face were broken and there were cranial fractures.
Etute was however granted bond in a hearing Wednesday morning in Montgomery County General District Court, but Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Patrick Jensen filed an expedited appeal that would have kept Etute in jail for up to five more days.
President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Lagos for the commissioning of some capital projects in the state.
He was accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and they were both received by the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other government officials.
The President is expected to commission the 156km Lagos—Ibadan standard gauge railway line in Lagos. It is the first double-track standard gauge rail in West Africa.
It is also the first Nigerian railway line project to be started and completed by the same administration since Nigeria gained independence in 1960.
The project construction began in March 2017 and the test-running process commenced in December 2020.
The Ebute Metta Station, known as the Mobolaji Johnson Station, is the largest railway station in West Africa with a holding capacity of 6000 passengers.

Freeze took to Instagram to share his opinion about the popular bible version and it has sparked controversy on social media.
He shared a video of a foreign preacher explaining how a verse in the KJV bible was wrongly translated from Latin and doesn’t portray the original message.
So he concluded that the bible version is useless and said people who use it to define their faith will “worship demons”.

Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan has revealed why she changed her policy of not collecting money from men.
Cynthia shared this in an apparent reaction to actress, Eniola Badmus’ post where she said she doesn’t collect money from her boyfriend.
Eniola wrote on Snapchat, “I think am the only one that doesn’t collect money from who am dating.”
Cynthia had responded by saying it’s her loss.
However, she has taken to her Instagram page to shed more light on why she changed her ways as she was once like Eniola Badmus because she didn’t want to be indebted to any man.
According to her, she changed because as she grew older, she realized that she wants to settle down and allow a man take care of her.

T.B Joshua, the founder and senior pastor of Synagogue, Church of All Nations died last Saturday, June 5th and popular Nigerian clergyman, Abiara visited the bereaved wife, Evelyn Joshua in her home to condole with her.

This is coming after the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) commiserated with the family of late popular Nigerian pastor and televangelist, T.B Joshua.
CAN in a letter signed by its president, Samson Ayokunle, and addressed to T.B Joshua’s wife described the deceased as one of the foremost Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist who devoted his entire lifetime to the propagation of the gospel.
The letter reads,
“The news of the demise of your darling husband, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, who was until his transition at the age of Fifty-Seven (57) was the leader and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations came to us amidst great shock and sorrow.
“We are particularly sad because the deceased showed no trace of illness prior to his demise after an Evening Church Service on Saturday 5th June 2021. We commiserate with you, the children and the entire members of SCOAN on this irreparable loss.
“Prophet T.B Joshua was one of the foremost Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist who devoted his entire lifetime to the propagation of the gospel and ministering to the needs of the downtrodden. He was renowned for his philosophical simplicity and humility. His death is not only a loss to the family and the church, but to Nigeria and the world at large.
“There are indeed no exact words of comfort at a moment like this, but we humbly enjoin you to take solace in the Will of the Almighty God, who works in us both to do and work according to his good purpose (Philippians 2:13).
“We know that Our Lord Jesus Christ in whom there is all-sufficiency, and whom you have been serving wholeheartedly will make all grace abound unto you at this trying moment (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Award winning Nigerian singer, Ayodej Balogun otherwise known as Wizkid, has acknowledged a beautiful portrait of him drawn by a Nigerian artist.
The artist, Amos Osemwengie, made a portrait of the legendary singer which according to him documents the singer’s star project, Made In Lagos, and fortunately this got Wizkid’s attention.
The artist shared a video and photos of the beautiful piece on Instagram and took his time to explain the concept behind the painting.
According to him,

A young Nigerian lady who accused Billionaire, Ned Nwoko of unlawfully detaining members of her family, has revealed her father has finally been released.
The young lady identified as Ifejoku Uzor Pamela, some weeks took to social media to allege that the billionaire businessman “illegally detained” her father, and her mother was forced to celebrate her birthday in prison because of Ned Nwoko.
The perturbed lady, at the time called on the Delta state government and Nigerians as a whole to come to her family’s aid. Well, in a new development, Pamela via her Instagram page, yesterday June 9th, revealed her father has finally been released.

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerian youths to behave themselves so that the country can attract jobs and investors.
The president who spoke on pertinent issues facing the country in an exclusive interview with Arise TV insisted that the country needs to be secure to attract investors, as nobody is going to invest in an unsecured environment.
When questioned on the decline in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), the president said he has told Governors and traditional rulers to tell the youths that they should behave themselves and make sure that Nigeria is secure so foreign investments can come.
Buhari who laid emphasis on the need for youths to be well behaved alleged that some young Nigerians during the #EndSARS protest wanted to march to Aso Rock to remove him from power.
“This question was answered last year when there was the #EndSARS protest last year. You remember the young people that wanted to march here and remove me?
“Tell the young people to behave themselves and make the country safe, then we can attract real investors to the country”. He said.

Ghana-based Nigerian lesbian, Elladeevah Ellios has allegedly been drugged and raped for two days by some unknown persons.
Ellios made a distress video on Facebook while she was with the Police. She appealed to her followers to come to her aid because her assailants had wiped her phone.
In the video, she looked visibly shaken by the experience and said she needs all the support that she can get.
As at the time she filmed the video, she revealed that she was going to Cantonment Police Hospital to get a medical report.

A Brazilian woman, identified as Dayane Cristina Rodrigues Machado, has been arrested on suspicion of killing her husband before cutting off his penis and cooking it.
The 33-year-old woman was nabbed by the police in Sao Goncalo, a Brazilian city on June 7.
Police were invited to the couple’s house in the neighbourhood of Santa Catarin and found her husband’s naked and mutilated body.
According to the police, Cristina allegedly cut off her husband, Andre’s penis and cooked it in soybean oil in a frying pan.
They added that the crime occurred around 4am in the morning after the couple had an arguement about splitting up.
The cops also recovered a kitchen knife from the crime scene which is believed to be the murder weapon she used in killing her husband.
Cristina has been arrested and charged for murder and corpse desecration.
According to reports from Brazil, the couple were together for 10 years and have 2 kids – an eight-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. They also ran a pizzeria together.
However they had been separated for 2 years but were still hanging out occasionally.
The couple stepped out to a snack bar on the night of the incident before the argument ensued, news site UOL reports.
Cristina’s lawyer, Carla Policarpo, said Andre threatened that if she couldn’t be with him, then she couldn’t be with anyone else, so she killed him in self defense.
According to her lawyer: “He did not accept the end of the relationship and said that if she could not be with him, she could not be with anyone.”
However, Andre’s sister, Adriana Santos, claims the suspect killed her brother out of revenge because he once cheated on her.
Reports have it that the couple fought a lot and Christina once reported her husband to the police.
Meanwhile, the investigation is ongoing.
A single mother of four, simply identified as Joselyn, has narrated how she has been living in a toilet with her children for the past six years.
The woman who shared her touching story with Afrimax_tv, revealed she once lived a good life with her kids before her husband deserted them.
According to her, she was happily married and lived in a decent house with her family until her husband suddenly changed and became an alcoholic.
The man who used to be a caring and loving husband started coming home drunk and constantly beat her up, this continued until he told his family he was leaving to somewhere very far and they never saw him again.
Six months after the husband left them, the landlord evicted them from the house because they could not pay their rent.
With no one to help the woman sated that she lived on the streets for two months before finally discovering an old toilet where they now call home.
The hardship in living had its toll on the young children, and affected their performance in school.
