Ten biological children of a prominent Islamic cleric, Dr Imam Sheikh Muhammad Goni Ali Gabchiya, are set to wed on the same day and at the same venue.
The ten siblings and children of the Islamic scholar and Chief Imam of the University of Maiduguri, Sheikh Goni Gabchiya, will have their wedding Fatiha on June 25th, 2021, at the University of Maiduguri, Central Masjid.
The father of the ten siblings, Sheikh Gabchiya is a Kanuri man but born and brought up in Makkah, Saudi Arabia and currently lives in Maiduguri as one of the most respected Islamic scholars in Africa.

Lady proposes to her boyfriend in a park; he said YES (videos)
A video making rounds online shows the moment a woman proposed to her boyfriend in a park.
In the video, the lady went down on one knee and popped the question in the presence of their family, friends and even strangers.
The boyfriend jokingly walked away to create suspense, then he walked back to the love of his life and said “YES” to her proposal.
One of the bystanders shared the adorable video on Twitter and it has garnered massive reactions online.

Emir of Kontagora’s son, Alhaji Bashar Saidu Namaska, reportedly tied the knot barely two weeks before he was gruesomely killed by armed bandits.
The monarch’s son was murdered on Thursday, May 20, when some armed bandits invaded his father’s farm in Masuge Village, along Kontagora-Rijau road.
In new reports, the Webster University, St Louis, Missouri graduate and Sardauna of Kontagora, is said to have gotten married shortly before his untimely demise.
An acquittance of the family, identified as Samaila Ibrahim, had on May 8, 2021, shared photos from the wedding ceremony on Facebook to wish the couple a happy married life.

The groom-to-be identified as Francis Jonathan Ayuba, was set to tie the knot with his his fiancée on Saturday, April 17, 2021, before he met his death.

Ghanaian musician and guitarist, Kwabena Kwabena has averred that Ghanaian women are more unfaithful in relationships and marriages than men.
The singer stated this while he shared his experiences from his three failed marriages in a recent interview with Sammy Kay.
The accomplished draftsman who maintained that people do not speak the truth, added that he can state for a fact that he is one of the faithful men any woman can ever have.
Speaking further, Kwabena noted that he takes the blame for everything that went wrong in his past relationships because he is the one in the limelight as a singer.

Well, years after the success, singer, Dencia, has now revealed that fellow Big Brother Naija star and second runner up of BBNaija season 5, Nengi, contacted her to support Mercy while she was in the house.
Dencia made this revelation during a question and answer session on her Insta-stories, while she noted that Nengi Rebeccca Hampson, has a heart of gold.

A primary school pupil that’s aspiring to become a prefect of his school has subtly taken a jab at President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo for not delivering some of his campaign promises in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election held in Ghana.
The young lad who read out his manifesto to a group of students and teachers, is heard saying he will not be towing the same lane as the Ghanaian President who he said promised ‘one dam to each village‘ and ‘one factory to each district‘.
The aspiring school prefect revealed that all he says will come to pass — he went on add that he will ensure that students come to school early among other things.
He said;
“When he was voted into power, he promised ‘One village, One Dam’ and ‘One district, One factory’ but he failed to do. I will not be like Nana, so vote for me and all that I’m going to say shall come to pass.”

According to Pikolo, he invested his hard earned money on the singer during his days of humble beginnings and at a time, he even almost lost his life while shuttling between Benin and Lagos just to promote the young singer.
Sharing throwback photos of himself with the singer, Pikolo claims that Rema’s music career started way before he claims it did and that he featured in that time.

Peruzzi reacts as Pamilerin hits the gym and challenges him years after the assault saga
Twitter influencer, Pamilerin, seem to be working on a “revenge body” as he shares video of himself seriously working out, years after he was physically assaulted.
Recall that in June 2019, popular Nigerian singer, Peruzzi reportedly slapped Pamilerin, over a statement he made about him on social media.
According to an Instagram User who narrated the incident at the time, Peruzzi assaulted Pamilerin because of a tweet that was posted sometime in January 2019.
However, years after the incident, Pamilerin teased the singer about his revenge body and jokingly challenged him.
The social media personality shared a photo of himself in a gym-like setting and tagged Peruzzi.
Reacting, Peruzzi urged him not to be deceived by people advising him to move forward with the challenge.

Veteran actress, Stella Damascus and her estranged lover, Daniel Ademinokan, have taken their marital feud online as they trade words on Instagram.
It can be recalled that Stella Damascus and Daniel tied the knot in 2014 amid heavy backlash online as Stella was accused of snatching her colleague, Doris Simeon’s ex-husband.

Popular Nigerian fitness expert, Bunmi George has narrated how her marriage was tested when her husband lost his job as a pilot 9 days after the birth of their second son.
According to Bunmi, her Husband was without a job 11 months and their marriage was tested beyond what they were used to.
However, they overcame and she explained how they achieved this by fighting togetther, praying and listening to the Holy Spirit.
Her husband’s former job later called him back and gave a better offer but he rejected it. Not long after, he got an even better job as a pilot that offered him 150% increase and he also was able to recover the flight hours he lost by being home for 11 months.

I was away with my family, about to have our second child, hubby wasn’t with me as he was with the first, no biggy as he had to work. We named our dear son OLUWATONI meaning “God Is enough” and two days later hubby sends me an email with his lay off letter. Like I just born last week and dem come sack you 9 days later 😳👀🙆🏿.
Those emojis were my first reactions, especially because I KNOW how much my husband loved the work of his hands, anybody married to a pilot knows they are the second wife🤣 they just love being in the air, most pilots take immerse pleasure in what they do, I respect them so much!
That’s how I started crying oh, immediately called him on the phone. His first reaction was: oh no baby stop crying, this is a blessing!
I’m like 🧐👀 sure you are okay? He responded and assured me that he was fine. I believed him.
Little did we know we were about to walk an 11 month road of severe testings and fire. Everything will be tested. Him, I and the marriage itself.
When a man loses his job it’s almost like you have taken away his very essence. So instead of spending 3 months like i did when I had my first, I packed my load at exactly 4 and a half weeks and came home to my baby.
I was met with a small meeting a few days later. My husband decided we should sell one car, only 2 domestic staff could remain, excesses were about to be cut off.
I was like wooo wooo wooo calm down, we aren’t poor naaaaa shebi I’m working, he said that’s exactly why
me I can’t share car with you oh ogbeni, I will not go back to timetable with car. We were still struggling when he said the housekeeper who doubled as a cook should go too🙆🏿🙆🏿

I want to stress the importance of believing in your man and not putting him under pressure. I’ve heard women say I don’t care how you do it you must provide for the home. 👀 aunty SURUUUUUU
I solely believed in his judgment and vision for our family, he decided to do what any reasonable forward thinking man should do, he decided to go for additional training to broaden his chances of getting a job. We pulled from our savings. Heavy something- but listen it’s just money our relationship was more important. We make money such a hinderance in marriages, I will still come back to that another time.
He left me with a toddler and a new born and went away for almost 2 months for training. He came back and still nothing but we move.
As we came into 2018, hubby embarked on a 40 day fast, I saw his faith in God skyrocket. It was admirable.
I remember going for a program really disturbed like God, this fire is too much now. I was determined to do something I’ve never done before. As per formula, I went to the front of the auditorium to roll on the ground 🤣🤣 you know to show God that i was serious 🤣🤣.
That’s how God told me in these exact words “ better get up don’t dirty your cloth” 🤣🤣God speaks to me in pidgin sometimes. As I stood up He said “I love kehinde more in a moment than you ever could in a lifetime, I know what I’m doing” so I decided to relax.
About a week, his old job called him back I thought 😳 wawuuuu!!! Long story, hubby turned it down, there’s nobody that didn’t call him to beg or counsel him to take it. He felt something better would come. It’s important to note that there are only 2 companies in Nigeria he could work for. The one calling him back and another but they weren’t hiring. Infact someone said, George if you don’t take this offer, consider your career over. Humans speaking like God😰
To the human eye, this was a stupid move to make. But, He was adamant, even me I was like are you sure, baby? He said yes! I said ok now. Man like K black Okurin meta!! A man’s man.
Months passed nothing until one day, somebody say one day 🤣🤣 when God turned around the captivity of Zion, they were like them that DREAMED!
The loss of the job tested him, the circumstances as a result tested me, our interactions within the circumstances tested the marriage. I started by saying Marriage is a covenant, not a contract. If you are going to excel you are going to have to play by the rules, no corners cut.
So one day, the company that wasn’t even hiring decided to call Kehinde in for a chat. It was a Tuesday. He went in they liked him, next question- do you have US visa, yes I do. What do you think about us sending you for training on Thursday 🙆🏿🙆🏿😭😭😭
Somebody rababababaababaaaa😭😭😭😭 and just like that, baba was on a plane in two days. HE GOT THE JOB! And a powerful offer, when i saw the offer I entered the toilet to weep before the Lord. I wept and wept 150% increase on ALL fronts. Not only that over the next 365 days God orchestrated a program for him in which he was able to get back the hours he lost by being home for 11 months. If you know anything about aviation, hours are like their life line. God was incredibly gracious and full of mercy toward hubby.

Taking to her Insta-stories, Kemi claimed Lyta is not actively taking financial responsibility for the child they share, and couldn’t even afford 13K Naira for balloons for his child’s 1st birthday.
Kemi during a question a and answer session on her Insta-stories revealed that the young singer has now apologized and is making conscious effort to make amends as he now calls her everyday.
Speaking further she sated that she has no regret for spilling out sensitive information between her and her baby daddy. According to her, if she continues taking the pains and doesn’t speak out, she might die out of frustration.

According to the mother-of-one, she does not respond to a lot of things because she believes they are better ignored than engaged.

A lot of times, we don’t talk about how powerful and wholesome silence can be and I think that’s because the society has made us believe that having the last word is a kind of winning.
See, most times, I do not respond to a lot of things not because I do not see them, but because I believe they are better ignored than engaged. Honestly, my darlings, it is not everything that screams at us that deserves our responses. Knowing when to ignore a thing is also as important as knowing when to speak up. Don’t give people the power to bait you into expected reaction. Do not give them power to control your reaction. That right is yours, protect it.

In her emotional tribute, she described Femi as a Giver who loved her wholeheartedly, and she does not regret walking the journey with him.

Nfasis also kept a straight-face when the photos were taken, and it forced fans to assume he wasn’t happy about his big day.
On the other hand, his wife, Diana Vargas de Garcia, was fully dressed in a wedding gown with a veil and flowers.
Their daughters, who served as bridesmaids, were also dressed to the nines.

UNIABUJA graduate found dead in a gutter while visiting the school for her result (Graphic photo)
A Nigerian lady identified as Otunla Blessing, said to be a recent graduate of the University of Abuja has been found dead.
The deceased who is suspected to have been raped before being killed, was discovered naked in a gutter at Student village in Iddo Sarki, Abuja on Saturday May 22, 2021.
Blessing who travelled from Oyo to Abuja to collect her result before her untimely death, studied English language at the university and graduated in 2020.

“Someone survived this?!” Shock as man shares testimony of how he survived freak car accident
Nigerian netizens have expressed their total shock after a man shared photos from the scene of the freak accident he survived.
The gentleman, identified as Ade Ori-Okin on Twitter, was in an accident at the Jabi/Kado bridge in Abuja but came out alive with only a little scratch on his face.
After he shared photos of the car, Twitter users were totally surprised as they wondered how he was able survive such an accident.
Photos and video from the scene show that his car was crushed beyond repair when it ran under a trailer. The driver’s side was the worst hit, yet he came out alive, with no life-threatening injuries.
He gave thanks to God and his follower joined him in thanking God.

The actress removed her husband, Tchidi Chikere‘s surname from her Instagram bio, weeks after they both debunked their marriage crash rumour.
Recall that there were speculations that the celebrity couple were having marital crisis after they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This was further fueled by Tchidi’s ex-wife, Sophia Williams, when she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram page which reads “Wetin dey happen to one love made in heaven”.
She also removed “mother and wife” and changed it to “Award winning filmmaker, mum, CEO”.
