Late Nigeria Comedian, Mmesoma Mercy Obi, who was fondly known as Ada Jesus, has finally been laid to rest.
Friends and family gathered to pay their last respects, and it was an emotional scene as majority of them could not hold back tears.
Ada Jesus passed away in April 2021 from a kidney disease that she revealed in February 2021 that she was suffering from.

A fuel-laden tanker caught fire today, Friday, May 28th, on Otedola bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Fortunately no casualty was recorded, as the fire started from the front of the tanker and didn’t get to the tank carrying fuel.
The incident has caused gridlock with motorists stranded around the axis. Meanwhile, the fire service arrived promptly and succeeded in putting out the flames.
This is coming days after the Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State Command, Olusegun Ogungbemide, reassured the public that there are no demon, witch or wizard at the Otedola Bridge.
According to him, the constant accidents and tanker explosions on the bridge are caused by reckless drivers and expired trucks.
The bridge is infamous for road crashes mostly involving fuel-laden tankers and trucks that often explode, causing casualties.

A Nigerian native doctor, identified as Ossy Opara has taken to social media to call out his baby mama for beating his mother.
In a children’s day message to his children, Ossy noted that they may not get to see their grandmother again because her “health is failing her as a result of the beatings she received” from his baby mama, Blessing, while she was ill.
According to him, he will not indict himself in anyway but his children will hear about how he was a “daredevil”.
In his words,
“Ikechukwu Opara, Chukwuemeka Opara, and Munachimso Opara. Happy children’s day to you my sons.
This is the last children’s day that you will celebrate with me by proxy in an inhumane way. It is likely that you may not meet your grandmother (my mom) alive when you come back, I tried to make you see your grandmother today (her health is failing her as a result of the beatings she received from your mother Blessing ontop her health condition). I tired so hard and made calls that I wasn’t supposed to make, all for the love of family. The internet never forgets.
I will not indict myself in anyway, but you will hear the story of how your father is a Daredevil, you will look at me and be proud to have a father, an only son that conquers multitude of brethren. Meanwhile, Ossy had earlier narrated how his plans of celebrating children’s day yesterday May 27th, with his kids was stopped by the family of his baby mama who demanded that he comes to their family house for the visit.
He claimed that they “want him when to talk and when he leave’s” they allegedly “set him up again.”
He wrote,
“27th of may (Children’s day).
“2 weeks ago (early notification), this father has been demanding that his children be peacefully brought out for him by those who have seized them. According to the comedian, asides from checking out for a person’s level of maturity before going into a relationship, the person’s look is also very important.

Instagram comedian, Nwagbo Oliver Chidera popularly known as Pankeeroy has been released, following his arrest
over alleged internet fraud.
Recall that Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in April, arrested the social media Influencer, alongside 34 others for their alleged involvement in computer-related fraud in Lagos.
Pankeeroy has now been released after five weeks in EFCC custody, and has released an official statement following his release.
The statement reads,
“Upon questioning and facts finding by officers of the Commission, our Client was released as there was no form of nexus linking him to the purported commission of the investigated crime. The positions of the Federal Government and its agencies are clear on Digital Currency and as such hampers various levels of growth and development in the economic and digital space.
However, this call to Notice is necessary to clear the air and further repose the long term confidence of fans, friends, family members, and Business Associates of our Client that on no occasion was our Client indicted of any crime/offense and as such, the arrest was a product of Job Hazard.”

The executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said the parents of children convicted of cultism will also be punished.
The Governor made this known while addressing students on Thursday, May 27, during the Children’s Day celebration at the Police College, Ikeja.
Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, said a new law had been signed to fight cultism and it includes punishment for parents of wards convicted of cultism.
Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, who spoke on behalf of the Governor, said:
“The new law against cultism prescribes punitive measures for parents of young people convicted of cultism. Parents should be vigilant and monitor their children.”
“We owe them a duty to ensure that their dreams and aspirations are realised through continuous training, guidance and mentoring.”
Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the demise of a young married woman, Nike Ayedun, who was allegedly crushed to death with a car by her angry husband.
According to SaharaReporters, the deceased who was a staff member of World Bank office at Asokoro, Abuja, was crushed to death by her husband, Makanjuola Ayedun, when she tried to stop him from driving out of the compound with her phone.
It was learnt that due to the speed with which he reversed, the car crossed an untarred road and crashed into a building where some things were destroyed.
Ayedun allegedly tried to flee when he realized that he had killed his wife, blaming the incident on brakes failure.
However, SaharaReporters said a source revealed that it was not an accident. A source also alleged that the man had always physically assaulted his wife.
The source said, according to the publication, “The whole issue started when Nike discovered that the safe box she had got for the purpose of saving money for her son, who demanded a huge birthday party, had been broken by her husband. She then confronted him about it. That was how the husband started beating her.
“After beating the hell out of her in the house, he collected her phone so that she could not call anyone. The man went outside and turned on his car’s engine while he came down to open gate. Nike ran to the gate demanding her phone. The husband said he would crush and kill her, and before she knew what was happening, the man knocked her down with full force while reversing the car,” the source added.
The deceased, a mother of two boys, was said to be the breadwinner of the family as her husband was unemployed.

Actor, Uche Maduagwu has challenged his colleague, Rosy Meurer to provide proof of when her husband, Olakunle Churchill paid her bride price.
Recall that Rosy and her husband, Churchil, broke the internet earlier this year with the news of their secret marriage.
Uche Maduagwu, has now dared the the mother of one to show proof that she’s indeed married to Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, with a video that indicates when her dowry was paid.

Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal has finally admitted to photoshopping her waist in a recent photo she shared on social media, after netizens dragged her to filth.
The actress moments ago faced a barrage of accusations from trolls on social media who claimed she photoshopped her waist to make it look smaller than what it is in reality.
Moyo had taken to her Instagram account to share the photo with the caption, “Why does Dangote keep calling”.
However, observant fans were quick to notice the photo was photoshopped and took to the comment to drag her to pieces.

Following the heavy backlash she received on, Moyo has now shared the original version of the edited photo while hinting that the earlier shared photo was indeed photoshopped.
Sharing the original photo, she wrote,

BBNaija reality star and entrepreneur, Natacha Akide popularly known as Tacha, has shared her experience with an Uber driver in Turkey.
The 25-year-old reality TV star, who is currently on vacation in Instabul, Turkery, took to her Twitter page to reveal that she was duped of 100TL (about N10,000) by a Turkish driver.
According to her, she never thought she could be extorted by a foreign driver because she always believed that only Nigerian drivers are greedy.
Tacha wrote,
