The INEC Returning Officer, Prof Funmilayo Odukoya, who declared the result said,

“That Thaddeus Attah of LP, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby declared winner and is returned elected; signed by me. Thank you so much.”

Reacting to Banky W’s loss, Toke Makinwa stated that she is very disappointed and sad because the singer worked extremely hard for the seat.

According to her, the people of Eti Osa are not even familiar with Thaddeus, who won the election.

In a now-deleted tweet, Toke Makinwa wrote,

“The news of LP winning in Eti Osa House of Representatives is so painful cos he didn’t campaign, we don’t even know him.

Banky worked so hard, Banky deserves to win Eti Osa.”
