Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ star, Saga Adeolu has revealed that his much-publicized proposal video to his co-star and love interest, Nini Singh, was a skit.
In a recent interview on Naija FM, the fitness enthusiast and artist made this shocking revelation that has dashed the hopes of many fans of their unique love story.
This comes weeks after photos and videos from the romantic proposal surfaced on the internet, leaving many fans excited that Saga’s relentless pursuit of Nini in the BBNaija house had finally paid off. Watch the proposal video here
Sadly, in an unexpected twist, Saga has disclosed that the proposal was not real and was only a skit they both featured in in December last year.
According to him, it was a very private video and he doesn’t know how it found its way to the internet, stating that he was surprised when he got wind of its virality.

Meanwhile, Saga recently spoke about how he was tagged a mumu by netizens for his relationship with Nini when they were in Big Brother’s house.
Recall that Saga was trolled while in Big Brother’s house and after because he kept following Nini wherever she went. Little did the public know that the love between the two would evolve to another level.
In an interview with media personality Chude, Saga addressed the relationship between himself and Nini.
According to Saga, he was closer to Nini because, he is naturally an emotional human being and didn’t see his closeness to Nini as something strange.
“It’s not like I committed any crime. I followed one woman, as it should be,” Saga said.
According to him, he is to blame to some extent for the way people perceive him because of how close he was with Nini, since he recalled the tears he shed in front of the camera when Nini was nowhere to be found, when he could have cried under the sheets without anyone seeing.
