Sen. Dino Melaye, who is known to have an expensive taste for cars, recently gave his special assistant on media, a 1992 Honda Accord car as a gift.
The act, was shared by a Facebook user, Precious C. Eze, who also asked if his special assistant is paid enough to foot the car repairs bills.
The user wrote:

Well, congrats to the SA Media and hope his salary is enough to repair this car every other day.

So it looks like receiving old cars in Benin is a thing, as a beauty queen received one recently.
