A UK-based Nigerian doctor, Dr. Funmilayo has revealed via her page on the microblogging platform X that does who shave now with the hope of having sex tomorrow (Valentine’s Day) have a high chance of being infected with STDs or HIV.

She claimed that does who shave now might end up having tiny cuts which can give them sexual diseases if they have unprotected sex.

She further went on to advise those who plan on carrying out the act, to always shave days before and not a day to.

The doctor who decided to drop this piece of advice for people to use as a caution for Valentine’s Day wrote in her tweets;

“Don’t shave your Valentine’s gift. It’s 24 hours too late now. If you shave now and have sex tomorrow, there’s a good chance you will have tiny cuts which can give you STDs and HIV especially if you have any unprotected sex. Chioma, If you like look away. I’m still talking to you. If you plan Valentine’s sex for the weekend, PLS SHAVE TODAY.
