Ayra Starr apologizes

Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe professionally known as Ayra Starr, has given a sarcastic apology to those fond of criticizing her choice of outfits.

Recall that there has been a mild controversy surrounding her fashion style as she’s known for wearing skimpy outfits.

Ayra, in a now-deleted voice note shared on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, has now tendered a satirical apology to her fans worldwide who are displeased with her fashion style.

The ‘Rush’ crooner, who spoke in a sad and remorseful voice, vowed not to wear short skirts anymore. However, she switched up her voice and said she doesn’t care about her critics and their comments about her fashion style.

Using a line from her hit song ‘Rush’, the 20-year-old singer said, “Me no getty time for the hate and the bad energy, got my mind on my money”.

This follows the reactions that trailed the outfit she wore to perform at a recent concert in Lagos state.

A while back, Ayra Starr responded to those asking if she doesn’t have clothes.

She shared a video of herself rocking her signature outfit in red and insinuated that she’s unperturbed by those judging her.

One of her songs was playing in the background and it says, “F*ck society, F*ck you wannabes, Ase. F*ck your hypocrisy, Ase. Don’t want any part of it Ase”.
