A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after revealing that he envies men who got their girlfriends pregnant about a decade ago and now have teenage children.

According to him, although the pregnancies may have seemed like mistakes at the time, seeing those men with their grown children today makes him view the situation differently.
He wrote, “Boys wey give girls belle like 10 years ago, I lowkey envy them today. Mistake wey turn to blessing.”
His post resonated with another social media user, identified as @Its_Kemi, who shared a video featuring herself and her 11-year-old daughter.

Reflecting on becoming a mother at a young age, she said she was grateful that she did not listen to people who advised her to terminate the pregnancy.
She captioned the video, “This is me and my girl 11 years later. So thankful that I never listened to my mum or anyone to get an abortion. She’s a blessing to me.”
The posts have since sparked online conversations about unexpected pregnancies, young parenthood, and how circumstances that may initially appear difficult can eventually become cherished blessings.
