Mrs. Jedidiah Shola, the mother of popular singer, Simi, has negated the popular notion that men need respect and women need love.
Taking to her official Twitter page, she said everyone needs love and respect either male or female, and couples should endeavor to treat each other with it
According to her, love and respect are not mutually exclusive and people should stop repeating the maxim because it doesn’t hold water.
She tweeted:
“Please let’s stop this noise of husband needs respect & wife needs love. Show me one human being who doesn’t need respect & love from his/her spouse. Let all couples learn to treat each other with respect & love. Don’t give your spouse what you cannot accept.
A while ago, Singer Simi’s mother, Mrs Jedidah Akinsola advised Nigerians to stop prophesying negativity into the country.
She tweeted,
“Nigeria yi ti gbogbo wa ni. Koma gbodo baje. Ko ma sibo miran ti ale lo. Ajo oda bi ile. Eje kasowo po kafimo sokan. Gbe kemi gbe. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is blessed and shall rise again. Stop prophesying negative into Nigeria. Say what you want to see and not what you are seeing. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬”
