South African Journalist, Redi Tlhabi has berated a lady for mocking people who have children late.
The lady had taken to Twitter to share a tweet which she has now deleted after receiving backlash on the micro-blogging platform.
She wrote, “Some of y’all will be attending parent meetings in your 50’s” accompanied with laughing emojis.
Reacting, Redi slammed her over her statement and disclosed that she is one of those parents because she had her kids at age 35 and 38.
According to her, she got her life together before deciding to have kids and now she would be fully available for them because she has more control over time.
She responded,
“I am that parent shem. I had kids at 35 & 38. I spent my 20s studying, working 3 jobs, (radio, tv & print). I traveled! Then I learnt about the stock market & directed my income towards a healthy investment portfolio. Now I work when I want. My kids see me! Don’t be stupid babe.”
