In a recent podcast with ‘Middle Ground’, Nigerian rapper and Chocolate City Music boss, M.I Abaga, has openly shared his views about sexuality and the Gay law in Nigeria which he describes as ‘Stupid’.
The hip hop recording artist said that he feels its not safe to openly disclose your sexuality in Nigeria until the law is repealed.
He said:
‘I feel like I have a few freinds with different sexual orientations and I think its stupid that we have that law in Nigeria but now that we do, until the law is repealed, I feel its not safe to openly disclose your sexuality’.
One of his Twitter followers however disagreed with his views.
MI then replied saying:
‘Cheating and adultery are wrong.. but they are not criminalized.. and no form of consensual adult expression of love should be.. my opinion’.
A complicated issue, but i think i support the guy… Yabaleft- I am enjoying the news, just interesting
