Comedian AY Makun pours out his love for his daughter, Ayomide on her 3rd birthday, acknowledging the family’s past challenges with heartfelt sincerity.
In an Instagram post, the comedian shared beautiful pictures of his daughter alongside different videos to reminisce about their memories.
After 20 years of marriage, the comedian and his ex-wife, Mabel, split up. Together, the couple had two daughters: Ayomide and Michelle.
Ayomide should know that she is incredibly loved by himself and her mother even though their family has been overwhelmed by difficulties.
He recognizes that his daughter is a bright light in his life and a priceless gift that arrived after 13 years of hope and longing as he celebrates her.
He wrote,
“Today, i celebrate you turning 3 years old, and even though i do not see you to run around with like i used to, I couldn’t be more grateful for every moment we’ve shared. You are a shining light in my life, a precious gift that came after 13 years of waiting and hoping. Your arrival filled my heart with joy and confirmed my belief in the power of love and faith.
Though so many unrepairable occurances has engulfed the unit we once called family, but do know that you are deeply loved by your mum and i. Your laughter, curiosity, and sweet spirit bring so much happiness to everyone around you. I cherish every hug, every giggle, and every moment we spend together”.
